We only syayed for 5 minutes. We checked in saw the room whoch was run down and had stains on the floor. The pool was toxic green and the neighborhood was run down . I entered a claim to gey my money back from hotels.com and nothing..

This listing constitutes fraud. The photos shown are not reflective of the actual hotel. It is, for lack of a better or kinder term, a complete dump. Our first room was disgusting and the balcony door didn’t close all the way or lock. We requested a new room, which was somehow even more disgusting. It had clearly not been cleaned — there was dirt everywhere, literal leaves in the bathroom, and a sock on the ground. The AC in the room was also broken. We decided at this point to leave for obvious reasons. The man at the front desk said he couldn’t give us a refund because we had “been there more than an hour,” and when we tried to show him the pictures of our room he said something along the lines of “I know, my cleaning staff doesn’t do anything, this is how it is,” which is just…baffling. Anyway, he said to contact the manager (whose email is a bunch of random letters). We will be attempting to contact him as well as disputing the charge. Absolutely disgusting, the worst hotel I have ever been to. I have no idea how they are still open they need to be shut down.

This was one of the worst places to stay on the planet. I was amazed that this very sketchy lodge has the Econo lodge marquee. It was a disaster area and the second night there was police all over the place. Did not help that there were homeless people directly outside the main entrance and the morning we checked out there was a semi conscious person laying on the luggage cart and someone sprawled out on the lobby couch with the clerk all asleep or unconscious at best. The rooms were filthy, towel Rack was broken with no bar and the mattresses should have been condemned. I took pictures of you need proof. Would Never consider staying again at an econo lodge.

The pictures were very misleading. We felt very unsafe being there and had to find a different place. Security cameras were unplugged and there was someone sleeping outside in a luggage cart. I also couldn’t get a refund

Products and services not as described. It felt like a shelter for homeless. Hallway doors busted. No lock on side doors so anybody at anytime could walk right into the building. Public restroom in lobby was out of order. Where the container breakfast once upon a time was a storage facility Our room. Sliding door to balcony had not lock and when I went to front counter I was told well I only work here. “Your room is safe you are on the second floor. Your stuff will be safe”. Light bulb broken in light and still attached. The room looks nothing like the photos. Walls haven’t been painted in years. A yellowish tint was the color. Shower tub. Disgusting. Dingy and if it was clean the tub still looked dirty. Roaches in the bathroom. 2 photos to follow. I slept on top of the bed with a blanket I had in my vehicle and used an additional blanket to cover. It was absolute the worst place I ever stayed at. I asked for a refund or new room and of course he saidI only work here and I can’t give you your money back and as far as a different room, they were booked solid. 100% occupancy. If you have a wife and children. DO NOT subject them to this. I would have taken more photos and called the credit card company for a charge back but it was dark and I left at 6:00 am.

This stay was awful. The first room the gave us had towels stuffed in the toliet and wasnt clean. The second room was alot of the same. Not cleaned. Burn holes in the sheets and pillow cases in a non smoking room. Mold all of the ac blower. Blood spray on the back of the bathroom door. Shower filthy. Sp we couldnt shower. Unfortunately we were too tired to document the stay. We did get one picture of the broken ac unit. We came to rest from 3pm to 5pm to go back to busch gardens and just wanted to rest so i couldnt fight anymore. We had to go back to the park at 530 so we rested until then and went to the park and came back at 1am to sleep until morning. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone. I will actually push them not to. I was extremely disappointed. I cant believe they can rent room like that. For 20 bucks cheaper than a nice hotel.

Filthy, mold, feces, cigarette burns on the floor and bedding. The celling was falling off the smell of human waste was the worse. We walked in and out. I still don't know how could this place be up to code. It should be close down. It gets better when I requested a refund because will not going to stay in such a filthy place. The front desk clerk said ok no problem. About a week later I received a email from the horror hotel stating I was not receiving a refund because they have strict policies concerning cancelations, I had to laugh. I contacted my credit card company and when they saw the pictures of the room I received a permanent credit. Please stay away from this unhealthy, disgusting horror hotel.

Most dirty hotel I've ever been to. Walked in and walked out. HUGE stain on one of the beds, hair on bathroom sink, urine in hallway, bags of trash and beer cans outside, missing lampshade, room was disgusting.

Bath tub/shower is in bad need of repair. You almost have to hug the wall to get under the water. The facet has a ton of caulk that is dirty. We had a very uneasy feeling about staying there and won't again and probably won't stay at another econo lodge.

Very slow to check in. Room wasn’t very clean. No heat in the room. Shower faucet not easy to figure out and would just turn and turn and turn to find correct temp. Gunshots, doors slamming shut (because they won’t line up to lock) made it impossible to rest

I stayed here on New Years Eve and reserved a non-smoking room. There were cigarette holes in the blankets and the mattress. Half the outlets in the room did not work for phone chargers. The remote for the TV did not work. Worst yet the bed had a giant wear hole in it which made it feel like you were sleeping in a pit. My girlfriend and I kept on rolling towards the middle and the whole experience was super uncomfortable. When I checked in, I had to stand at the counter for over 10 minutes till someone shows up to help check in. The place looked closed down.

The staff was very friendly and the room was as clean as they could get something that run down. The room was dark with dark bedspreads and minimal lighting. The lampshade was literally hanging on by a thread. The shower was water scale marked and rust stained but appeared to be clean beyond that. The bed should have been thrown away years ago. This place was beyond terrible. The front desk clerk was outside smoking when we got there. The room was at the farthest end of the hotel and there was maybe ten cars there so intentionally making it inconvenient. The room door was broken and the room was filthy!!!!!! We couldn’t get a refund and leave because we purchased from a third party.

Our first room was disgusting and the balcony door didn’t close all the way or lock. We requested a new room, which was somehow even more disgusting. It had clearly not been cleaned — there was dirt everywhere, literal leaves in the bathroom, and a sock on the ground. The AC in the room was also broken. We decided at this point to leave for obvious reasons. The man at the front desk said he couldn’t give us a refund because we had “been there more than an hour,” and when we tried to show him the pictures of our room he said something along the lines of “I know, my cleaning staff doesn’t do anything, this is how it is,” which is just…baffling. Anyway, he said to contact the manager (whose email is a bunch of random letters). We will be attempting to contact him as well as disputing the charge. The staff was very nice, special props for the receptionist who helped me. Comfortable beds, and has an enjoyable balcony. Air conditioner works slow but is effective over time; I actually had to turn it off because it was cooling so well, but then again, this is in January in Tampa. I'm not sure how it would hold up in the summer. Also, if you have a cockroach phobia then this is not the place for you, because I saw more than a few little ones once I shut off the lights. Roaches are nothing to me, so I actually enjoyed it, but In all honesty they could really use an exterminator. But you get what you pay for; my only goal was to get a good night's sleep and go to Busch gardens, which is about only a quarter mile away. Location was perfect if these are your purposes. If your going for cleanliness I would recommend oasis hotel

I stayed here on New Years Eve and reserved a non-smoking room. There were cigarette holes in the blankets and the mattress. Half the outlets in the room did not work for phone chargers. The remote for the TV did not work. Worst yet the bed had a giant wear hole in it which made it feel like you were sleeping in a pit. My girlfriend and I kept on rolling towards the middle and the whole experience was super uncomfortable. When I checked in, I had to stand at the counter for over 10 minutes till someone shows up to help check in. The place looked closed down.

Filthy, mold, feces, cigarette burns on the floor and bedding. The celling was falling off the smell of human waste was the worse. We walked in and out. I still don't know how could this place be up to code. It should be close down. It gets better when I requested a refund because will not going to stay in such a filthy place. I rarely comment and even rarer leave a negative comment. I had chosen this hotel as it was close to Bush Gardens knowing it was a simple hotel but hoping it was clean. The door had marks from breaking in, paint was pealing from walls, particularly in the bathroom, the carpet had a musty smell, there was white power under the AC, the windows had probably not been cleaned since months, the dresser was in a state of disrepair with falling front plates, microwave and fridge were dented and probably not been cleaned in a long time, the curtain had stains etc. The only good thing I could say about this place was that the front desk clerk was friendly. Let's just say I paid for what I got. The front desk crew was the only good thing about the hotel. If I summed up my opinion of the hotel, I'd say half fast. As in, the whole hotel was half-fast renovated from the front desk room to the room to the restroom from in the rooms. Also, the added little guest wasn't fun to wake up to at night when going to the restroom. At least the staff was nice to us.

The pictures on the site did not match up to what I drove up too. As a single mother I drove into the complex and felt completely unsafe! There were people selling things in the parking lot, it looked run down and just a complete no! I did not check in because I did not feel safe just my being in the parking lot!

Products and services not as described. It felt like a shelter for homeless. Hallway doors busted. No lock on side doors so anybody at anytime could walk right into the building. Public restroom in lobby was out of order. Where the container breakfast once upon a time was a storage facility Our room. Sliding door to balcony had not lock and when I went to front counter I was told well I only work here. “Your room is safe you are on the second floor. Your stuff will be safe”. Light bulb broken in light and still attached. The room looks nothing like the photos. Walls haven’t been painted in years. A yellowish tint was the color. Shower tub. Disgusting. Dingy and if it was clean the tub still looked dirty. Roaches in the bathroom. 2 photos to follow. I slept on top of the bed with a blanket I had in my vehicle and used an additional blanket to cover. It was absolute the worst place I ever stayed at. First off I called the hotel directly just before I paid for my booking through Hotels.com to ensure I could check in upon arrival between midnight and 1 am on the day of my reservation for July 21. I was assured repeatedly that I could check in at 12;30-1 am in the morning instead of having to wait until 3PM in the afternoon. I even ASKED if I needed to book a second night....and they said I would be fine to check in early. Front desk person was RUDE- said I could NOT check in because my reservation was for July 21. I said it is the 21st. After I explained I spoke to someone at the hotel ( I missed getting Her name!) The front desk clerk further stated when I asked if I could pay for another night, that she could not even charge my card. I asked why not, She said it was because I booked through a third party. I said what can we do? I have no car in which to go somewhere else and I need to get some sleep. She charged me $83.99 for half a day. Snarky woman was barely cordial. The hotel itself was run down, The public bathroom was out of order. The ice maker was BROKEN! Room was meh. Bed covers were old, thin and had holes in them. Curtains were dingy and stained. Paint was newer but poorly done with missed spots and scrapes. Bathroom had 80's tile with mildew all throughout the grout lines, The tub was supposed to be white but was so dingy and stained it was gray in the bottom. Here is what I have a problem with: upon checking in on May 24, 2026, the first night, I was scammed by the night clerk, Sharon C. Never have I ever been asked to pay for a hotel to an employee's personal Chime account. Since I was exhausted and my best friend was paying for the room, he did it for me as a favor. Since my travel plans were postponed till today, May 25, I paid for another night through Expedia. At this motel, they do not let you wait in the lobby after check-out for an Uber, Lyft, or any other type of transportation. I am not sure what goes on at this motel, but that is not cool when it's almost 100 degrees outside and humid.

Never have I ever been asked to pay for a hotel to an employee's personal Chime account. Since I was exhausted and my best friend was paying for the room, he did it for me as a favor. Since my travel plans were postponed till today, May 25, I paid for another night through Expedia. At this motel, they do not let you wait in the lobby after check-out for an Uber, Lyft, or any other type of transportation. I am not sure what goes on at this motel, but that is not cool when it's almost 100 degrees outside and humid.
