Hyatt Place Lexington

The room was clean, but there were stains on the couch and on the bed covers which made the room look unclean. The bed was comfortable, however being adjacent to the interstate you could here when traffic got noisy. Especially when someone was out at 2:30am on a motorcycle with no muffler on the exhaust. I would stay here again, but I would ask to be on the opposite side of the building.

The only drawback here is that this hotel backs to the interstate and we heard trucks a8rbraking all night long. If you book here make sure you get a room on the front of the hotel. Our favorite restaurant in Lexington, Malone's is a short walk from this hotel, and its located perfectly for us interstate drivers

Dirty rooms & the bathtub needs replaced

TV did not work in first room. Moved to a room which we were told was the only available space on the first floor. It smelled like a boys junior high school locker room. I’m guessing a guest with a pet or some flooding issue. Luckily I was armed with a travel Lysol spray that helped until we became nose blind to the damp musty aroma we encountered on walking in. The carpet even seemed damp. The A/C was pretty bad too. We’ve been staying at this location for many years when passing through Lexington. There are several options at this interchange which we will be trying in the future. Management did change our room however (should have settled for a bad TV). Also when I mentioned our disappointment upon check out we were told that new owners were going to totally remodel the hotel. Too late.

Disappointed because room had stained carpet The drapes were torn, vanity mirror to high, maid could not speak English so failed to clean the room as requested. Breakfast selection poor with cold scrambled eggs. Not near enough seating when hotel is full or enough handicap parking.
