We stayed here so we could park and fly from the airport but unfortunately the area they have for long term parking is not sufficient for the amount of people parking. The area is in a muddy area dark and not well lit, people park anywhere in that area to get in and out is dangerous and unsafe . Very disappointing as the hotel itself is beautiful and staff are very nice

Everything was great except the pool. There was so much chlorine that my eyes were burning and I could not see for at least 15 minutes . I had to soak my eyes with a cool cloth and then use eye drops that I had to purchase at the hotel.

There was not enough parking available, so there were vehicles parked on the grass, along the driveway, etc. Anywhere you could fit a vehicle, there was one.

Overall, the hotel was okay, although the bathroom fan and sone plugs didn't work. My only complaint was the pool, which had far too much chlorine in it - after a few minutes of swimming, my eyes were burning and my skin was itchy. This has never happened to me at any hotel I've stayed at.

It is a pretty decent hotel. Room was clean and tidy. The breakfast area was pretty good with a variety of choices, which alternates every other day. Coffee and tea available 24 hours (at least, when i needed one, it was always available). One thing I didnt like was the pool. It smelled like someone had put way too much chemicals into it (i have a pool at home, so i know). Extremely strong. My kid complained his eyes were burning, and they had to be rinsed out several times. On top of that, he threw up from accidently ingesting a small amount of water. After this swim on the first night, my son refused to go back into this pool again. This was a disappointment, as the pool was one of the biggest factors in why i chose this hotel. A suggestion to whoever is looking after the pool, ease up on the chemicals or test the water before adding more in.

The tub had black tar or something similar and the floor was sticky. Didn’t feel comfortable having a shower. Asked to change rooms within 10 mins of checking in and staff were not polite or very accepting to help with the change

The room was dirty bathroom floor was dirty the telephone was so dusty and sticky the floors hadn't been vacuumed properly the handle on the fridge was full of dried up hard food the bed was comfortable and clean other than that the shower was also filthy I wasn't pleased

Cleanliness. Mold on shower caulking. TV Screen had splatter marks. Corners behind doors were not mopped. There was product build up on the shampoo spout, body wash and other soap dispensers. Vacuuming was done down the middle of rugs. There were fuzzies on the rug under the desk.

Room assigned 438 was not clean dirty and xtra bedding not cleaned shower gross buildup of dirt and grime could not have been cleaned, shower doors had finger prints floors were dirty in all the corners especially. Most disgusting was washroom!! Would not recommend when i complained they didn’t apologize or offer to compensate in any way i showed them the dirty room just made up excuses… terrible service

Well my room was the dirtiest.i was welcomed by a dirty bathroom floor and drink rings on my side table that were not mine because i never drank anything in bed.The same pubic hairs were on my bathroom floor for the duration of my stay.never swept or mopped.bed was made and towels were changed though

The bathroom had persistent mouldy odour, I reported first thing the next morning. The receptionist assured me that the supervisor would be informed and that a proper cleaning would be arrange. However, after three nights, nothing was done. At checkout , I raised the issue again and mentioned that the smell seemed to be coming from the shower curtain, which appears unclean .

Room was spotless. Lobby bathroom spotless. Breakfast staff attentive and cleaned up after people finished at their tables promptly. However, we arrived at 4 am after calling the front desk to inquire about the shuttle. Knowing that a family of 6 were on our way, it surprised all of us enormously, that the night clerk began a computer process that then delayed our check-in by 15 minutes after we arrived from the airport. With two small children and 4 very exhausted adults it was a very inappropriate time to create a delay like that.

Our room was beside the elevator and the noise from the elevator itself was ridiculous. All night long the sound of cranking and booming as the elevator went up and down. Awful night sleep.

I’ll start by saying the gentleman who works the night shift who was there when we checked out before our trip, and there when we checked back in after our trip, was lovely! Everything was great except we requested a crib when we booked (which was at least a month in advance) and when we arrived at the hotel at 2am there was no crib, and we were told we needed to book in advance because there was none left (we had definitely booked it in advance and received communication from the hotel that it was noted in our booking.) It was definitely an inconvenience, but there wasn’t much we could do about it that early in the morning and had to put our 20 month old in the bed with us. Otherwise the stay was fine! They have an EV charger which was great, breakfast was great and everyone was friendly!!

I reserved two prepaid rooms with Expedia. I had an email confirmation and confirmation number. But the hotel did not have the reservation somehow and we discovered at about 10:30 pm that we had no rooms. The hotel said they were sold out and had no rooms left and we had no reservation. Later, toward midnight, after we’d been on long holds with Expedia customer service (who claimed the hotel wasn’t answering their phone) someone from the hotel called back to say they could find us a room, but by this point we had called someone we knew late at night to beg to spend the night with them, which we did.

Only negative about our stay is the long wait for the shuttle. There was only one which holds 15 & the plane was a large one coming in from Europe. There were several staying at your hotel & waiting for the 1 shuttle. The flight was scheduled to come in at 8pm delayed & came in 1:30am

Hotel is very clean, nice size rooms, we left fairly early in the morning, a grab to go breakfast was available, shuttle on time. The hotel is maybe a 7 minute drive to the airport, nice and close. Downfall is there is nothing else around to do. But a great place to stay overnight. A bit expensive, expect to pay $250 and up

This property is very convenient for the Halifax airport. It was neat and clean and the staff were excellent. The breakfast was quite subpar with overcooked scrambled eggs. There was a pancake machine which sounded exciting but the pancakes produced were a glutinous mess. There were no good eating options anywhere close.
