This hotel has a lot of potential, but we had a very poor experience. The service was terrible and the majority of the staff were unfriendly. They were also very understaffed. Tables were not being cleared of dirty dishes at the main hotel. The hotel advertises a pool bar but it was not open. If you wanted food or drinks by the pool, you had to order by phone and wait at least 30 minutes or more to be served. The beds were hard as a rock and the hot tub by the pool was filthy. Also, check-in is at 4pm and only one room was ready by 4pm (out of 4). The spa and golf course/restaurant were fantastic though. However, I would not pay to stay on site ever again. We were a party of 8 (4 couples).

Came in for a golf tournament. We stay at dozens of hotels and VRBO homes throughout the year for tournaments. Rooms need to be updated. Smells in the room was not good. Just smelled like someone’s grandma’s house. Breakfast buffet is typical over priced resort buffet ($25), but they make eggs and waffles on request, and the fruit was amazing … probably because we’re right in the middle of fruit/farmer country. Property on a whole is beautiful. Golf clubhouse restaurant was very nice, and the guys that cart you over from the hotel are very nice and punctual. Hotel pool was ok. Chairs and patio were not kept clean as most resorts do. Heavily padded pool chaise loungers looked very inviting, but were not kept clean. Old foliage debris in the cracks, etc.

Clean rooms, staff and cleaning ladies very friendly! The resort is beautiful, the grounds are well taken care of, plenty of activities, golf tennis pickleball biking. We only stayed 2 nights for a wedding near there, so we didn’t get a chance to go to spa. There is a bakery near there( Yalaha) so good! Pool area very nice!

Restaurants good. Staff excellent. Gym facilities are cramped and bit dated in terms of equipment and a good walk from the hotel. They should let you know that you need cash for a vending machine to get water while you are working out. The place was practically empty except for ground staff who were out in force with incredibly noisy leaf blowers at 7: 30 am as we walked the grounds down to the gym, which sort of ruined the beauty of the place. It was our best option in the area as we needed to visit family and it was a nice choice. We don't play golf so the purpose of the place was not why we were there.

This property is beautiful! However, parts of the resort are updated and parts are not. The walk to amenities is not ok for an elderly person. The lighting in various parts of the hotel is very dark or extremely dim, making hard to see. The beds were very high, once again, making hard for an individual with a disability or elderly person difficult to get upon, or a child falling off can hurt themselves. The lighting in our bathroom was very dull, and the one in the shower never came on, so you had to take a shower in the dark. Once again, beautiful property, great for active individuals, do not recommend if you’re traveling with elderly or disabled. Also, you might spot a gator or two.

It’s a beautiful property, unfortunately I wasn’t aware that during my stay the pool would not be open nor would a few of the restaurants so dining options were very limited. We were not told at booking that they were undergoing renovations. You also have to park very far from the rooms which makes it uncomfortable to go back-and-forth with luggage.

Beautiful grounds and updated interiors. Spacious and comfortable room and we had a picturesque golf course view from our screened in balcony complete with tall palm trees framing it. Great nearby dining options as well as four restaurants on the property, with two of the four currently undergoing renovations. Excited to see it all completed next time we visit. Loved the area. We will be back!

We loved the grounds and especially the El Campion golf course. Las Colinas was beat up in the fairways, and needs work. Liked our room and view but the bathroom needs to be retired. Chipped tiles are old and dated. Nice Spanish tiles and a nice shower would be nice. No bathtub needed. Food and staff at Nickers very good. Staff at Margarita were very good, food was so so. La Hacienda breakfast was very good and so were the staff.

Not happy at all with my stay here. On my first night the Hot tub was dirty with leaves and tons of dead bugs. The water temp was decent. The 2nd time I went to the hot tub the water was cold and nobody ever came to fix it!!!! Very disappointing. That is the one amenity I look for when I stay at a hotel and I expect it to work. The $30 resort fee/day was not worth it!! My water bottles in the room were also never replenished. And to top it off, I was locked out my room as the BATTERY to the door died. I Have NEVER had this happen at any hotel/resort. I had to wait out side my room in my pajamas with hair rollers in my hair for maintenance to come and replace the door battery. SUPER embarrassing!!! I Would not stay here again. The hotel is old and needs to be renovated!!

The rooms are very clean. The property is beautiful and well manicured. The whole staff was great and treated my family like welcomed guests. We are already planning coming back for a week long stay to enjoy the property and just relax.

This is a beautiful property and we enjoyed a couple quiet days away. The hotel is in the midst of renovation which is needed. We were put in a newly redone room and it was very comfortable. Heard noise from the room above us but it did not disturb us. If you want a low key place in the hills of central Florida this is a good choice.

I would like to say on negative issue I had...and that there was NO fridge/microwave in the room Very disappointed with that. Almost 5 star Hotel/Spa and no fridge/microwave...and $200 a night. But otherwise very nice.

Older resort . Clean . Beautiful grounds . Friendly staff Only downside was how we could hear doors banging loudly and water draining from above ? We kept tv on to help mask out the sounds in the hallway and above us . We were on the 2nd floor. Otherwise we had a good stay .

My grandson and I had such an amazing stay. Lynette welcomed us at the front desk and told us everything about the resort. She sent us on a scavenger hunt and was always available with good information and we really enjoyed her. Pamela at Knickers was also extremely friendly and gave us great recommendations! We are already talking about coming back! We had such a fun stay! Also we enjoyed Ron our shuttle driver! He had so much knowledge of the history of the resort and his rides were so fun! Thank you all for making our visit one we will never forget! We can’t wait to return!

Sadly, looking back at my experience at Mission Inn, I have to say that I am disappointed. We forgot a few clothing items in our room and two weeks later, we are unable to contact anyone from the housekeeping on general managing departments. Left 4 voicemails and yet no information was received. While the resort is pleasant and has potential, due to the experience with staff and lack of communication and accountability, I do not recommend this place.

Checkout time is 11am. No reason for housekeeping to start knocking on door at 8:30. Then again at 10. Completely disturbing and rude. Fix that problem and the resort is beyond amazing. Beautiful. Grounds are gorgeous. Room incredible.

Very unique property, would never know you were 25 minutes from Disney. To me the property and vibe was very palms springs, CA. Old school character and charm with gorgeous grounds & great golf. Food at the restaurant was simply superb. I travelled with my 22 year old son on the way back from Tampa, a one night stay that I wish was longer. A little shuffle board and corn hole after golf & dinner capped a perfect last spring break with my son. I hope to be back with my wife sooner than later.

Lovely grounds but hard to find. Signage difficult and very dark at night. Feel like things were barely working though came quickly to fix problems. Comfy bed with nice linens. Unclear if there was any food service on property and nothing nearby like a coffee shop to get a coffee. Everyone was pleasant . Just older.

The property was just amazing with lovely landscape and views of the golf course. However it is an older place and could use a bit of updating. The restaurant food was very good.

It was ok... it was a beautiful place but the service at the restaurant was really disappointing. We arrived late but were told the resturant was open until 11. We arrived at the resturant about 9, were seated and then it took 2 visits to the hostess station and we were finally waited on at about 940. Our waitress turned out to be wonderful (Kristen?) but at that point we were just dissapointed. We also sat outside and it started to get breezy so we asked to move to a table with a fire or a lamp but we were told there was no propane so they could not be lit.

We loved the whole experience. The food was delicious and the pool was Perfect temperature and refreshing. We were able To Watch golfers from our room which was very nice. If I could make a suggestion, the betting is lacking. A nice thicker comforter Would be much more Comfortable. The hallways also has strange lightening which makes it less welcoming. All around 5 stars. We Will be back

It was amazing! Was a birthday gift to myself and son-in-law. Baby shower for my daughter for the weekend. Enjoyed the wonderful Saturday breakfast and Sunday brunch on the veranda!
