Best Western Orlando West

We had a wonderful stay. Yes, it does need new blankets and sheets, BUT they were clean and it seems that they are working on making updates to the rooms. Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and we never had an issue. The front desk lady ( i dodnt cathc her name) was awesome! Friendly and gave us a late check out that we ended up not needing. The covid breakfast was actaully ALOTA OF FOOD and really good! The pool even though we didnt have time to go i. Was clean and looked relaxing and refreshing. We will be staying again here. Thank you!

Convenient location near the venue we were attending. All fenced so I felt car would be safe overnight.

This is an older hotel with surrounding property that limited the space around the hotel for parking. The rear parking lot is gated and locked even through we still found people sleeping in the back of the parking lot. The lobby is locked up so you have to communicate through a "drive-thru" window to the team. The room was pretty clean but dated. The wi-fi seemed to work when it wanted too. The bed was uncomfortable to me so I did not sleep well. There were plenty of places to eat around with most options being open very late to the early morning. The nights were mostly quiet during the stay so it was peaceful.

Hotel is in bad part of town and is surrounded by a metal gate. You feel like you are in prision and the hotel is creppy. Inside is nice but you are afraid to go outside espcially without a car. No place to eat or to get supplies if you don't have a car. Not safe to walk anywhere.

Surprisingly very well maintained older facility and gated plus pool and surrounding landscape was very well maintained.

They've done a good job updating the property, landscaping, pool, etc. You can tell it's from the 70's, but again, it's obvious they are working hard. It's not in the best part of town by any means, but again, they do a great job at keeping it safe for their guests. Lobby and hallways smell of a bit of damp mixed with weed/cigs, but I don't know they can control that. The room remodel was done well and beds were comfy. Super nice staff. I applaud their efforts with an A.

The pricing was very good and the room was fairly clean. It needed some maintenance to bring it up to snuff. Cleanliness was average. The pool area was the highlight. It was nice. 2.5 out of 5.

We stay here every year for a music festival at the fairgrounds which it’s usually pretty okay but this last time the room was just so gross when we checked in. There was hair all over the bathroom that was not ours and the floor all over the rest of the room still had dirt. The area around the hotel is not the greatest. However, the pool area is beautiful, the staff is very nice, and the restaurant next door is some of the most amazing Chinese food we’ve ever had. Will continue to stay just hope the rooms are cleaner next time

The floor was very slippery and the room smelled like bleach. Not at all inviting. To prevent us from falling I took a towel and cleaned the floor. The white towel showed black over most of the towel. Disgusting!!! We did get a refund on the second night. We only stayed the first day as we got in so late and were exhausted. We should have left and just found another place to stay.

The lobby is dirty, my room had no clean towels (1 dirty one in the tub), the adjacent parking had cars leaving and beeping starting at 4:30am, nothing in walking distance, and the "breakfast from 7-9am" was not breakfast but a solid Keurig and a paper bag snack pack.

The whole facility smells like mold. Everything is very outdated and there is not much to speak of in terms of amenities unless you count the lingering and everpresent smell of weed and cigarettes. Although, even that does very little to block out the moldy odor wafting from the AC. There was a roach in our room, and in terms of cleanliness, everything just felt like a half-hearted rush job. This is not going to be a place where the beds are neat. What you are going to get is what your 10-year-old nephew considers to be "good enough" at home. I think credit DOES deserve to go to the older gray-haired man who seemed to be doing his best under the circumstances. It appeared that he was both maintenance and cleaning staff for the entire property, which may be too big a job for just one man. This will work if you need a place to stay for the night and don\'t have many options. If you want to feel relaxed without the fear of roaches and bedbugs, I\'d pick somewhere else.

There was hair all over the bath tub and towels. The hallways smells like weed and humidity. Also the toilet bowl was disgustingly dirty.

Disgusting room! Bathroom was not cleaned - hair everywhere, sequins and dirt on the floor...urine all over the shower area...sheets were not clean - stains all over the top sheet, floor had not been vaccumed or swept - I have photos for reference... this was by far the most disgusting hotel room!

We were laughing at how bad the room was. We could have asked for another room but the hotel was completely sold out, and other guests said their rooms were about the same. So, what was the point? - The Key Card: Every day, without fail, our keys would stop working, though we kept it away from our phone or other magnetic items. Staff never wondered/cared why it was happening daily. - Hotel location: Hotel is on the corner of 2 very busy and loud traffic areas. We felt safe walking/running around the neighborhood (we had no car). - The Breakfast: Weekday bfast was a bag of snacks. Weird, but okay. Weekend bfast, you needed a voucher from the front desk for bfast at the Chinese restaurant next to hotel. The food was not great; no other food in the area other than a WaWa down the street. - Good points: The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was good. - Bottomline: this property is really tired & rooms not clean for the price & location. The staff were very friendly/helpful, but don’t expect ‘going above and beyond.’

Excellent service, huge room, 20m walking distance from Camping world station and with pool

Way over priced for the area. Outdated fixtures, smelly carpet in the halls, sticky doors and locks, 4 SMALL pillows on a King sized bed were ridiculous. Staff gave us a ground floor room at our request after asking us why we booked a balcony in the first place. Um, make your online booking more clear and this would not happen? I don't need to be questioned about why I did anything.

This property is old. The rooms were clean but not equip with enough outlets to plug up your computer and phones. If you are just staying one night and want a clean place to stay then this hotel is ok. It has no amenities that I could find. The walls are also very thin. You can literally hear people across the hall talking. The front staff are not very friendly but the cleaning staff are pleasant and helpful.

Liked the whole room layout, everything just fit and was a comfortable stay.

Breakfast was a paper sack with a bottle of water, an apple, some chips, a muffin and a small cup of yogurt. Was expecting a hot breakfast and a dinning area. Clock radio did not work. TV color was terrible. Serious lack of electrical outlets and one of the outlets the plug kept falling out of it. This is the first time to stay at a Best Western and if this is an example, then i will never stay at a Best Western again!!

convenient location for the stadium clean property & rooms need updating (coat of paint and new carpet would work wonders)

This property has one of the most rude staff I have ever experienced. They were inconsiderate to our inquiries and needs and hung up on us over the phone multiple times as well as the Expedia support team.

The front desk staff was very rude. Very short tempered, hung up on my face as I was asking a question on different days. Overall bad attitude and customer service.

Very friendly staff

The room was not made up dirty sheets still on bed from previous tenants.. We were moved to another room, the toilet overflowed, we were told to clean it up ourselves, and were given towels to soak up the water.. I was told by management to request a refund from Expedia.

Very rude, unprofessional, and non-caring staff. Very awful, unhealthy package as breakfast (Grab & Go). This was a kind of offensive behavior. In one word, it was disgusting.

Unsafe area although they do have a dense around the entire hotel. There was dead cockroaches on the floor. I slept with my light on…. The staff was nice but didn’t answer the phone when we tried to complain and the lobby is locked at night.

Good value for money for an hotel close to the Bus Station and not too far away from MCO Airport

Close to the Camping world stadium, very convenient.

Stayed here for an extra night during the fsu lsu football game great price and location to camping world and as a smoker was nice to have an actually smoking room

Asked for accessible room for one of the three rooms reserved and they put us on second floor with no elevators. Check in person changed us to 1st floor, with an accessible room and somewhat close together. Expedia advertised as free breakfast and we were told grab and go breakfast available. Grab and go was available through a vending machine at $1.50 per bag. Needless to say, disappointing!

Ad says breakfast included - there is no restaurant to begin with and a paper bag got handed to us with an Apple water a granola bar juice and a piece of cold bread wrapped

Some of the staff were polite and some were not. Included breakfast was very poor quality. Ham was awful. Eggs runny. Lady who took breakfast orders was super kind and meant well but doesn't speak English so communication was challenging. There was a dog in the room next door that barked and played with a squeaky toy that could be heard.
