Pros: Location is waking distance to SeaWorld. Less than 10 minutes drive from the Convention center. The service was excellent. The food and drinks were delicious and our server at the pool was amazing. Room was big enough for my family. Cons: Parking fee is very high. The kids water park needs some attention.

I love this hotel. This last stay was my 3rd stay within 6 months. The staff is great and extremely helpful. The sheets have always been clean and we love the children's water area. Unfortunately, this last time the A/C on the 9th floor was not working and it was so uncomfortable to sleep. We called and they send a maintenance person to help but he couldn't fix it. They brought a fan but again it was blowing the hot air everywhere. The next day they offered a new room without an issue but its just inconvenient with a family of 5. Also the slides at the pool were closed this time and the children's water area was full of algae and slippery as if they hadn't cleaned it in a while. We honestly love this hotel but if don't keep it maintained it will quickly become run down.

Enjoyed our stay at this resort. Chose it for the "waterpark" for our young children. That said- the water park consisted of a mere 3 slides, one of which was out of service. So manage your expectations. Water isnt heated so made it almost impossibly chilly for small kids to enjoy, but we toughed it out. Resort seems dated and likely had its heyday, but all in all- staff were lovely and amenities were fine but nothing to write home about. Food choices were pricier than expected so dined elsewhere and lack of free wifi is a huge drawback. Enjoyed but wouldnt book again.

This hotel is the perfect family getaway location. You really dont even need to leave the property. The food is very good, a little pricey, but delicious. The pool and splash pad are amazing. We could have spent all day with our 1 year old running around the splash pad. The walk to SeaWorld is less than 5 minutes, its directly across the street from the hotel.

Upon checking into my room, I discovered a dirty sock belonging to a previous guest. To my alarm, this issue was found because my baby had picked it up and put it in his mouth. This situation is not only concerning for hygiene reasons but also alarming for the safety of my child. I had high expectations for our stay, and this has greatly affected our experience. There was no further follow up, they offered me complimentary parking, it came from the housekeeping manager, that was appreciated, but I feel that it could have been better the recovery steps for a incident like this

Bathroom was dirty and the room service didn’t changed the towels daily. Pictures look great when we booked but room conditions pretty bad which I mentioned to front desk (Stephen) but he said I need to pay $75 daily to upgrade.

We had a little bit of a problem on our last night of staying with hearing the cables of the elevator. I suggest getting a room far away from the elevators as possible. Be prepared to pay as much as the hotel when you stay. You're paying a very high price for everything. All in all, the food was great. The staff were pleasant and knowledgeable about everything. Can get a cheaper hotel with better rooms. The room service was great though.

Nice, clean, huge room with a view. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Check in and out was a breeze. The only issue was the pillows were big but too soft and my head sank right through to the bed and I didn’t sleep very well. But that’s minor. It was a nice stay.

The hotel is nice but the rooms are very old and dated for the unreasonably high price! The balcony is extremely small, if a couple checks in the room, both ppl will not be able sit outside. I was just expecting a W hotel level room and was really disappointed that I paid so much for so little!

Great location and mostly pleasurable stay. Check in process for my husband was horrendous and not a good way to start off vacation for him.. I added him to the guest check-in prior to his arrival and everything was assured everything would be OK. But when he checked in a different clerk, was very rude to him and it took over an hour. I actually had to go down there. Not a great way to start off a vacation and our wedding anniversary. Our last trip there had been cut short in April because my husband had a medical condition. We were trying to give it a 2nd trip. Restaurant staff and services generally pretty good too. The hotel is conveniently located by Seaworld and a great site for conventions. Valet was exceptional. Facilities are well maintained. Rooms are great. My husband was quite upset most of the day.

Unfortunately their billing system is completely disorganized. Beware of putting things on your room account. Beware of booking through Expedia and then having the hotel bill you wrong. And beware you will not be able to contact anyone who can help you. I’ve asked for them to send me my “folio” aka itemized receipt 5 times this week. Each time they tell me it will be emailed and then it doesn’t come. One associate even said they would personally email it to me, and I still haven’t received it. The renaissance has long been one of my favorite hotels. Mainly due to their service, location, food and rooms. The last time we visited, I was told at the redo of to spend extra when booking because my gold status includes breakfast. On check in, the first associate I met could not make it more clear of their disinterest to be helping me. Eye rolls, it was bizarre. When completing the check in I confirmed the breakfast, I was told I was misinformed… but my gold gets me a pastry… I asked to speak to the manager, after some time… he came out and said that anything I say is hearsay. At this point, I don’t really care and head up to my one bedroom suite. The bed was horrible, the comforter was dirty. I can honestly say, I never slept well a single night of my trip. The food menu has also been reduced. The second star is for the server in the restaurant that helped us Saturday night, he was great and I enjoyed the chicken tenders.

I had such a wonderful experience with the front desk staff! They were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to help me with everything I needed. Emilio truly went above and beyond to assist with my requests. The concierge was amazing too — she took a moment to make my 2-year-old feel special by giving him some fun stickers! The pool bartenders were just as welcoming, making sure we had all we needed to enjoy our time. It really made our visit memorable!

When I got to the front the front desk guy who was checking me in was really rude. He refused to give me a room near or around the pool area even though they were not fully booked and there was no reason. They also were giving my kids looks and didn’t seem as if they liked having small children there. Checking in was a huge hassle the “manager” I requested to come up and never did like he couldn’t be bothered. I travel often. I go to Marriott often. Not once have they not tried to accommodate me and have been friendly however the staff here was not friendly at all.

This is a great hotel with many amenities as well as conference centers. The rooms are slightly dated but overall its a nice, clean fun place to be. The food is amazing, very pricey but well done. There are many great more affordable restaurants within a 5 minute drive also. We walked to Seaworld entrance in 7 minutes.

Overall experience was AMAZING! We booked for three days and went o seaworld. It’s the perfect location if attending seaworld. We walked across the street to seaworld. My kids also enjoyed the waterpark area. The breakfast buffet was AMAZING also all 3 days. Mr. Raylo was our server and my family enjoyed his presence. He was AMAZING! 10 out of 10

I stayed here for a conference and to go to SeaWorld. I thought that the hotel was very nice overall. The bathroom and rooms were very clean. The hotel conference rooms were nice. While we were there, we were served a continental breakfast and a buffet lunch with chicken, short ribs, gnocchi, salad, etc. The food was very good actually. The bars and outside the room areas were also nice. My only criticisms are the bed was not the most comfortable, and there's nothing really to do onsite. Unless you are travelling with a bunch of friends, the bars are pretty empty. I did not have time to check out the pool on this trip. Proximity to Seaworld and IDrive locations was great.

I adored the awesome view of SeaWorld from my 6th floor review. Wanted to park in valet but ended up trapped in a self-parking lot due to signage. Was mad that I couldn't call for room service but was told to use app or QR code when I'm not tech savvy. My server at Tradewinds, Ana, was so friendly.
