Staff were exceptional, bed was large and comfortable, bathroom was clean, aircon worked, had issues with wifi in the room which meant the TV didn’t connect and the lack of signal in the room made our phones unusable- however staff were very helpful and tried their best to fix. Pool was smaller and colder than anticipated, but had gorgeous views. Food and drinks were extortionate but many restaurants nearby. Beach just outside the property.

Gorgeous hotel, shower was a struggle for me as someone tall as was angled. Rooftop was sometimes closed for events but has a great view. Area immediately surrounding hotel is nice and has some fantastic restaurants, but wider town is a little run down. Good base for exploring the area.

Brilliant trip! Staff were super friendly and helpful if we needed to ask anything, the room was super clean and very comfortable with a nice bathroom. Bar was brilliant with a large choice of drinks and all very well made accompanied by good free snacks. Nice central location in Castallamare di Stabia with shops and restaurants within a short walk, and around 5 minutes to the train station for links to Naples and Sorrento. Only complaints would be the pool filters didn't seem to really be working so both of the pools were a little bit dirty. Also busses to the amalfi coast were limited but that is no fault of the hotel. However, the rest of the hotel was faultless and I couldn't recommend this hotel more!!!

What a gem of a hotel! Old grandeur with beautiful architecture but modern home comfort. We had a triple family room which was huge! Beautiful big shower in the bathroom with comfortable beds and a view of the beach from our first floor window. Breakfast had a good selection with a breathtaking view of the Bay snd Vesuvius. Rooftop bar was fantastic and whilst the pool was tiny, it was great to sit in and loom st the view We had the best time in room 110!

Very nice building close to the Train Station (where the parking spot for cars also happens to be; otherwise fairly expensive parking on the streets). Short walking distance to the seaside and to the shops. Unfortunately there is a poor Wi-Fi connection almost everywhere throughout the hotel. Asked to have breakfast at 9.55 am and was not allowed to. Rooftop Restaurant is indeed a hidden gem.

However the hotel felt basic, with heating on in October despite being 20 degrees outside as ‘some guests said it was cold’. Disappointing that the rooftop pool and hot tub are only open in July and August. Great shower though. Average breakfast with the worst coffee you’ve ever tasted.

Hotel Stabia is on the water/boardwalk. It's walkable to the boat docks. The Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The room was exceptionally clean. The bed comfortable. Breakfast is included and had everything anyone would want. The views of the water from the breakfast room were stunning. I will definitely stay there again.

I honestly cannot recommend this hotel. I don’t see how it’s four stars. It should be rated by 2 to 2.5 stars. The property looks nothing like the pictures and it’s in the worst location. The city has nothing to offer and I regret staying here. I would not recommend this hotel or location to anybody, stay in Sorrento!!! The rooms are old and outdated where there’s mold in the restrooms and the showers are super small.

Sehr schönes Haus in bester Lage mit einem großartigen Blick vom Frühstücksraum im 6. Stock über den Golf von Neapel. Durch das Nachtleben im Bereich der Strandpromenade ist es sehr laut und das Hotel wirkt teilweise schon recht abgewohnt.

Très bon séjour, le cadre est idéal et l’hôtel est très bien placé. Accueil et service excellent, très bon petit déjeuner. L’hôtel a un superbe rooftop avec piscine et une vue incroyable. Les chambres sont propres. Elle mériterait un petit rafraîchissement.

I will start from the positives - front desk staff was wonderful , nice, and extremely helpful. Now the negatives and I don’t even know where do I begin. They gave me the worst room I assume, it was small, old, and the bathroom looked like something from the 90s maybe then it would’ve wowed. Like even the communal bathroom at the rooftop had better conditions . Showers were full of steel from old beds, very hard to use I almost burnt myself on night one as it wasn’t working properly. One of the towels they’ve given me was in stains - thought I was going to throw up. The rooms are said to be sound proof and yet you can hear EVERYTHING whether from streets or “neighbours” taking showers. Not to mention people talking at the hall. I didn’t even have a kettle on my room, so couldn’t make either a coffee or a tea. The fridge was really small too . Now I don’t know if all the rooms like that or they’ve given me such awful, old room, but I’m reviewing MY own experience. On night one I went to the hotel restaurant thinking I could try some of their food - the waiter was acting as if he was annoyed that I came over and wanted to eat , when I asked him to explain what one of the dishes is as I wasn’t sure because we didn’t have this particular fish in our country he just blankly looked at me and said - I don’t know how to explain it. In the room I was essentially only sleeping because I couldn’t stand it - a 4 star hotel is not like this. Breakfast was awful too . Theywouldntevenrefil

I could not fault the location, cleanliness and a majority of the staff were fantastic. However the photos didn’t not live up to my expectations. Wonderful sea view from the room but balcony was not big enough to sit out on as well as having no furniture for its use anyway. As a multi national traveller beware there are no drinking facilities in the room other than water. No coffee, tea or kettle whatsoever. Pool is quite small than the photos suggest. The worst hit is that there is no hotel shuttle or train of you have an early or late arrival and on average for a taxi or car it is 120.00 one way to / from the hotel to the airport which is madness.

Very nice hotel in a great location, easy to take the train to either Pompeii or Capri etc. Also right on the boardwalk which is perfect for night walks and restaurants. Charming older hotel, breakfast area was amazing. Issues, in my room the TV and air con would not turn on

Big room, clean and friendly staff. The breakfast was great and with a perfect view to the sea. Wifi was bad and also no hot water in the shower. If you are using a car, you need luck to find space on the street (with meters). There is an option to park on a garage, 6-7 minutes away by walking

Brilliant trip! Staff were super friendly and helpful if we needed to ask anything, the room was super clean and very comfortable with a nice bathroom. Bar was brilliant with a large choice of drinks and all very well made accompanied by good free snacks. Nice central location in Castallamare di Stabia with shops and restaurants within a short walk, and around 5 minutes to the train station for links to Naples and Sorrento. Only complaints would be the pool filters didn't seem to really be working so both of the pools were a little bit dirty. Also busses to the amalfi coast were limited but that is no fault of the hotel. However, the rest of the hotel was faultless and I couldn't recommend this hotel more!!!

The staff was exceptional. Our room our perfect. We had dinner at the hotel. There was a private event plus 200 tourists. They sat us in the breakfast room and made us a prefect dinner. So delicious. Very kind to do this for us. I highly recommend this hotel.

Shower flooded. Wouldn’t let us change rooms. Had someone come fix it, the smell in the room after made me vomit. Staff was very rude. This is a 2 star hotel with 1 star customer service. We left our stay early.

I will start from the positives - front desk staff was wonderful , nice, and extremely helpful. Now the negatives and I don’t even know where do I begin. They gave me the worst room I assume, it was small, old, and the bathroom looked like something from the 90s maybe then it would’ve wowed. Like even the communal bathroom at the rooftop had better conditions . Showers were full of steel from old beds, very hard to use I almost burnt myself on night one as it wasn’t working properly. One of the towels they’ve given me was in stains - thought I was going to throw up. The rooms are said to be sound proof and yet you can hear EVERYTHING whether from streets or “neighbours” taking showers. Not to mention people talking at the hall. I didn’t even have a kettle on my room, so couldn’t make either a coffee or a tea. The fridge was really small too . Now I don’t know if all the rooms like that or they’ve given me such awful, old room, but I’m reviewing MY own experience. On night one I went to the hotel restaurant thinking I could try some of their food - the waiter was acting as if he was annoyed that I came over and wanted to eat , when I asked him to explain what one of the dishes is as I wasn’t sure because we didn’t have this particular fish in our country he just blankly looked at me and said - I don’t know how to explain it. In the room I was essentially only sleeping because I couldn’t stand it - a 4 star hotel is not like this. Breakfast was awful too . Theywouldntevenrefil

Gorgeous hotel, shower was a struggle for me as someone tall as was angled. Rooftop was sometimes closed for events but has a great view. Area immediately surrounding hotel is nice and has some fantastic restaurants, but wider town is a little run down. Good base for exploring the area.

Very nice building close to the Train Station (where the parking spot for cars also happens to be; otherwise fairly expensive parking on the streets). Short walking distance to the seaside and to the shops. Unfortunately there is a poor Wi-Fi connection almost everywhere throughout the hotel. Asked to have breakfast at 9.55 am and was not allowed to. Rooftop Restaurant is indeed a hidden gem.

Great staff. Great hotel. Great facilities. Great location. The only thing that was annoying (which sounds petty) was the toaster at breakfast which only took 4 pieces at a time and took so long. Don’t know why they can’t just have the normal revolving toaster.

From checking in to checking out, and everything in between, this hotel was amazing. If you are North American, the biggest bed is like a larger queen, not a true king but great nonetheless. The online pictures of the hotel are accurate. We didn't use the pool as our weather was around 20C but the views and deck are beautiful. This location is perfect to get to Pompeii. The commuter train is only 3 blocks away. For 3 Euros, you can go to Pompeii or Naples or Sorento. We took day trip to Ravello, by taxi. The staff can recommend great restaurants and travel advice. Overall it was even better than expected. It is truly deserving of 5 stars.
