When you actually check in at the Quality Inn, you going to wish you've booked at the Holiday Inn across the street. You'll stare at the nicer looking property there and think about your past experiences with Holiday Inn and wished why you went with the (low)Quality Inn. The property here is poorly maintained. The corner of exterior stairs are busted and rusty, you can see exterior ceiling on the walkways cracking. You can see the outside light through a gap in the front door. The pool exists but is closed off on weekends due to neglect or poor staffing to maintain. The pool was a main deciding factor in choosing this place and we could only use it once (on a Sunday) before it was closed off for the weekdays. They are in need of staffing as there's a sign up front when you check in that says rooms will not be cleaned daily due to shortness of staffing (but clean linen upon request). I can tell, that the owners are just collecting the money and putting in the bare minimum to maintain the building. What they did good was the room was clean when I got there, the toilet works if you hold down the flusher (but it's weak and takes a long time to refresh), they have a bathroom fan. Breakfast is decent (but don't expect the standard scrambled eggs, they have hardboiled eggs, though). The AC is strong and can turn the room into an Icebox. And lastly, The price was decent and we know what we're signing up for! This is not a deal, it was a trade off.

It was a good place at a reasonable price. The pool was closed the first couple of days when we arrived and didn’t open back up until our last night. The room was fine. Was clean and did not smell bad. I did not like the $200 deposit and having to wait 3-5 days for it to be returned on my card though. Overall it was a good experience and as long as the price doesn’t go up I will stay hear again if I’m in the area.

Pool was closed didn’t accept cards for vending machines. House keeping doesn’t provide service on weekends. Strange men hanging around the parking harassing woman whom stay at hotel. Manger did say something to the guys thankful for that.

The room was very clean and the staff were great. The pool was closed for inspection, the flip lock on our room was broken, and the continental breakfast was not what you typically see at a Quality Inn. Cereal with milk was the only option.

Found two cockroaches in the room. One the first night, which we killed and decided not to make a big deal about. On our second night we found another, in the pillow case. We had to check out the following morning anyways so we just packed at that point and decided to take a quick (and uncomfortable) nap. Made a complaint but haven’t gotten any feedback yet.

We stayed for the weekend for Shaky Knees music festival - we weren’t being very picky! Overall, the stay was very easy and quiet. The room did smell like weed when we arrived but it wasn’t unbearable so we just stayed in the room. We did also find a roach in the bathtub upon arrival, but again, the room wasn’t bad enough to deal with switching around because everything else was fine. Beds were comfy and the staff was super nice. Not much for big breakfast but perfect to me as it was waffles, some hard boiled eggs, bagels, yogurt, cereal and coffee&juices.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Very worn and beaten down rooms. Room lock had to be replaced which added 30 minutes to the end of an already long night (very helpful staff to correct the issue but not a welcome situation). Worst of all, I observed several bugs in my room even though the surfaces appeared to be clean

The staff was very friendly upon check-in and check-out. The room was okay. However, the room had a very unpleasant odor. We couldn't quite figure out what the smell was. Because we arrived there late, were tired, and were only staying for one night, we didn't bother to go to the front desk to bring it to their attention. One more thing that needs mentioning is that we found a roach in the bathroom when we got up to shower the next morning before leaving. Although the staff was very nice and friendly, unfortunately, that would not be enough for us to stay there again when we return to Atlanta.....not even for one night.

The room that we got first we found cockroach in it we change it to another room which it was not clean we found old empty tooth paste tube in the coffee and sugar basket i took a picture and show it to front desk, any way we weren't happy staying there.

The property is in a great location close to highway 285 and also to a main street, the thing that I didn't like is the lack of cleaning, we stayed for three days and not a single day our room was cleaned up.

We liked the location of this hotel, but our room was very run-down compared to the photos on Hotels.com. The first room we were assigned to had such a horrible smell that I didn’t even step inside. I immediately went back to the front desk to request another room. The second room also had a musty smell and was very run-down, with worn-out furniture. I wish I had booked another hotel nearby, as the rate was not much different.

I booked a room with a king bed through Expedia. When I got there to check in, they told me there were no king beds available because they were doing construction on the second floor. They said I shouldn't have been able to book it through Expedia at all. I was then given the option between a room with 2 double beds or a king room, which I was already told they did not have, but I would have to pay $20 extra per night. I was very confused by this because it was not my fault that I was able to book a king room and they are literally telling me there are king beds available, but for $20 more? That is terrible customer service. Additionally, the first room reeked of cigarettes and had a non-smoking sign, so we had to ask for another room, which had less of a cigarette odor. The room itself was clean and spacious. I guess just beware/call ahead if you need a king bed?

Shower doesn't drain, not even after 30 minutes. Room was dimly lit, black carpet, a door that had been kicked in to much that it barely opened/closed. The A/C had NO controls for heat or air control, so use towels to moderate the freezing air flow into a room so small that the air will freeze out the person sleeping on the A/C side. Skeevy was the overall impression and definitely a Surprise for a supposed 4-star rating

The bed was dirty when I arrived, so I went to the front desk and asked for someone to clean the room. Unfortunately, the man at the reception was rude and dismissive. When I came back later that night, no one had cleaned the room—it was still in the same dirty condition. This is completely unacceptable and very frustrating. I expect a proper response and action regarding this issue.

Had to change my "non-refundable" reservation date and they handled it no sweat. The check-in person was on point. Took a couple of minutes to get checked in, even got to choose the room location I wanted...that was a first from any place else I've stayed! Next time I'm in Atlanta, I'll be staying there. The manager criminally and civilly harassed me because i booked on Expedia day by day and wasn't aware I had to come down to resign—I already paid for my room. He wouldn’t shake my hand—wouldn’t look me in my eyes and continued to make bogus and empty threats of calling the police—that in no way would be enforced because no crime occurred on my end. Only on the end of the manager of this property.

We did not know this was a motel when we booked it around an hour before we arrived in the area via an iPhone app, and we were skeptical. Even though we were on the ground floor with a front parking lot door, located inside 285 in Atlanta, it was perfectly fine. Clean. Quiet. (Yes, it really was quiet!) The fridge and tv worked. The AC/heat worked. All lights worked and had lightbulbs. All locks worked. Pillows were great. And a king-sized bed. No visible untended damage in the room. Starbucks and other restaurants are on the same block. A mall, a Target, a movie theater, and two grocery stores are nearby. Very convenient. Close to 285 and 85. Fast and kind check-in guy. In less than five minutes, and we were in our room. Was less than $100 for the night! And a free breakfast! Very surprising for the Friday before Christmas. We travel a ton, and some much, much more expensive (luxury) hotels in and around Atlanta have frequently had non-working fridges, wet carpet, loud hallways, terrible check-in, peeling wallpaper, stained bedding, bad parking, etc. Not sure if we lucked out or what, but it was a really good deal. No complaints whatsoever. Would stay here again.

It was clean. AC did not work in room but they quickly moved us to another room which slightly smelled of marijuana. Breakfast was ok but no protein available everything was carb based. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was decent we felt safe.
