The Hacienda has a beautiful property. Staff was incredible and the restaurant excellent. The room was somewhat dated, but the AC worked very well, it was clean and roomy. We loved the huge pool surrounded by palm trees. It was a short ride to the archeological site, and the hacienda was a welcome retreat on a hot day. We had a very positive experience at the Hacienda.

Beautiful grounds and pool. Ideal place for relaxation, great food. The only thing should be improved is the air conditioner. My two units had the same issue, no one could sleep. The rest was perfect.

A beautiful property with a lovely pool and amazing grounds. The staff was very attentive and friendly. This is close to the Chichen Itza Monument, and the Ik Kil cenote.

What a lovely lovely place, it really takes you back to old school colonial architecture and living. The hotel has developed a wonderful eco friendly hotel with a beautiful garden and pool that should be enjoyed. Food was wonderful and so nice to see that they produce as much of their own food as they can and where they’re unable to, they source from the local community. Our only comment would be that if you were staying for more than one night, the beds are small for 2 so as a family it’d be worth considering 2 rooms but it really didn’t detract from our stay.

The grounds of the hotel are really beautiful with abundant bird life. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to use the pool but it looked very inviting. The food was excellent as was the service. The location very close to Chichen Itza was perfect.

Great place to stay very close to Chichen Itza. The property is beautiful and well-kept, with plenty of outdoor seating and a large pool. The cottage-style buildings are adorable and we enjoyed the peace and quiet. Service staff were excellent, and the spa experience was exceptional. I’d love to stay here again.

Hacienda Chichen is one of our very favourite resorts anywhere in the world! On this most recent visit, our destination was the hacienda and we didn't even bother to tour Chichen Itza. We just love hanging out at the stunningly beautiful pool set amongst the historic cottages and meticulously landscaped gardens of this jungle oasis. Such an idyllic, peaceful spot! The terrace of the restaurant overlooks the grounds and is a wonderful spot to have a leisurely breakfast or enjoy dinner as the sun goes down.

beautiful hacienda hotel, check in was ok the mineral pool was nice & the huge gardens are beautiful , however the mattress was very old & uncomfortable , woke up with a sore back.the AC malfunctioned & the person at the front office during the evening wasnt helpful & refused to answer our phone calls.

Wonderful hotel. The staff was very friendly, facilities extremely clean and well maintained. The restaurant was the best food we had the entire time in Mexico. Super close to the ruins which was very convenient!

The Restaurant and common area of the Hotel very very nice and enjoyable. The location is great if you want to spend an overnight on the area. The rooms were not great. The door handle was loose and I did not feel safe leaving valuables in my room as I felt the room could be easily accessed. The rooms were in separate buildings (2 or 3 rooms per "villa"). The musty and moldy odor was overwhelming. I staying the restaurant as long as I could at night (with my valuables with me in my day pack) and got out as early as I could and went to my next destination.

Très bel hôtel très bien situé pour visiter le temple il dispose d’un accès privé au site mais qui était fermé lors de notre séjour. On y mange très bien dans un cadre magnifique le personnel très gentil. La piscine est magnifique et le jardin aussi. Les chambres sont simples les lits sont trop petits et c’est dommage d’avoir des plafonds moisis.! Hors mis c’est deux défauts c’est un hôtel qui nous a beaucoup plus

Prima hotel vlak bij maya stad Chichen Itza. Bijzonder voorkomende staf, een prachtige tuin, kamers zijn goed maar matras had zijn beste tijd gehad. Restaurant is uitstekend waarbij zoveel mogelijk de ingrediënten uit eigen tuin komen. Een oase om tot rust te komen.

There is no longer access to Chichen Itza from the property, so you need to drive and pay for parking. The place was alright but WiFi was horrendous and required you to be in the lobby to use it.

La Hacienda está muy bonita porque tiene mucha vegetación y está agradable. El cuarto donde nos hospedamos estaba normal, nada sobresaliente y sin TV.

I had an amazing time at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to make sure my family and I were comfortable. The food provided by the hotel restaurant was delicious and affordable as well.

The property we’re trying to charge us for some fruit we bought from the market and had in our room. I’m diabetic and had to eat something little. When we refused to pay, they tried to charge us for beers in the fridge which we did not touch. It definitely was a horrendous experience. I definitely would not recommend this place to anyone.

The staff at Hacienda Chichén are simply fantastic. The level of service was outstanding and we feel as though we made new friends. The grounds are impeccable and very quiet and relaxing. The chef prepares wonderful meals that provide many different choices and the food quality is outstanding. I can’t recommend this resort enough and we will look forward to returning to Hacienda Chichén!

Die Anlage ist sehr schön gepflegt, das hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Angestellten und Alicia von der Rezeption sind sehr nett. Rezeptionist Alexis fanden wir sehr hochnäsig streng und unfreundlich. In der Hotelbeschreibung steht kostenloses Mineralwasser-Alexis wollte, dass wir für das Wasser zahlen. Temperaturen sind tagsüber bis zu 37 grad. Wasser muss gratis sein!!! Es ist verboten Essen und Trinken von ausserhalb mit reinzubringen, somit wollen sie, dass man nur hier konsumiert. Die Preise fürs Essen und Trinken im Hotel sind überzogen. Somit werden Gäste ordentlich zur Kasse gebeten. Diese Hacienda ist ziemlich abgelegen. Wenn man günstiger Essen möchte kann man das in der nächsten Stadt machen, welche zu Fuss unmöglich zu erreichen ist. Also braucht man bei dieser Hitze unbedingt ein Taxi welches jedesmal 100 Pesos kostet. Das Internet im Zimmer ist sehr schwach.

It was an amazing stay. We arrived late at night and Adrian waited for us, to greet us and gave us a fabulous welcome. He made sure that our stay was unique and personal ! Gave us the proper advice for travelling around and recommended the best dishes where food was concerned ! The room was tastefully decorated and the entire ambiance of the property was absolutely amazing! Definitely it’s a ‘must stay’ place. Thanks Adrian and staff for the fabulous hospitality and everlasting memories ! Best of luck to the staff and management of Hacienda ♥️

The Hacienda has a beautiful property. Staff was incredible and the restaurant excellent. The room was somewhat dated, but the AC worked very well, it was clean and roomy. We loved the huge pool surrounded by palm trees. It was a short ride to the archeological site, and the hacienda was a welcome retreat on a hot day. We had a very positive experience at the Hacienda.

This is a wonderful hotel, located on the beautiful grounds of a historic hacienda. Truly lovely. HOWEVER -- be aware that the rear (eastern) entrance to Chichen-Itza is currently and I believe indefinitely closed (as of January 2024). As a result, you *cannot* walk to the site from the hotel -- it's an 8-minute drive on the highway back around to the main entrance. That's not the end of the world, but it does detract from what would otherwise be one of the primary attractions of the hotel. The hotel website states this clearly, but alas I didn't read that before coming.

The grounds of the hotel are really beautiful with abundant bird life. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to use the pool but it looked very inviting. The food was excellent as was the service. The location very close to Chichen Itza was perfect.

En general el hotel está muy bonito; forma parte de un conjunto de tres hoteles en la zona de Chichén Itzá. La gente que trabaja ahí es muy amable, aunque hay algunos inconvenientes: el restaurante es extremadamente caro, y no siempre da los mismos precios; una taza de café me la cobraron una vez en 50 y otra vez en 75 pesos. También me incomodó que hay alimentos regulares (en específico: sandwiches) que sólo venden a determinadas horas. Adicional a eso, no hay ningún comercio alrededor, por lo que debes tomar taxi para todo si no rentaste carro; esto no es mayor problema, pero ayudaría mucho que tuvieran una tiendita con productos útiles para viaje y bebidas. En las habitaciones hay, además, una carta que especifica que aplicarán un cargo de 50 USD si llevas tus bebidas de fuera. En el cuarto hay un frigobar de donde puedes tomar aguas y cervezas a un costo muy accesible. En general, los jardines están en excelente estado. No tuve oportunidad de meterme a la alberca, pero me hubiera gustado mucho: se ve muy limpia y fresca. Eso sí: me parece la mejor opción de los tres hoteles que hay en la zona de Chichén Itza. Ojalá mejoren su oferta de alimentos y bebidas.

The Hacienda Chichen Resort is a great place to stay in order to visit Chichen Itza. It consists of an impressive old hacienda and beautiful, well-kept jungle grounds with multiple smaller guest room blocks. The rooms are basic but the a/c works well and the bathroom facilities are fine though not luxurious. There is a restaurant in the main building with seating inside and outside. We ate breakfast and dinner there, with the menu changing according to time of day. The food was good though pricey - dinner for 5 would run to ~200 USD including a glass of wine each.

Prima hotel vlak bij maya stad Chichen Itza. Bijzonder voorkomende staf, een prachtige tuin, kamers zijn goed maar matras had zijn beste tijd gehad. Restaurant is uitstekend waarbij zoveel mogelijk de ingrediënten uit eigen tuin komen. Een oase om tot rust te komen.

a la recepcion llegada el recepcionista fue osco dando intrucciones como si nunca hubiera estado en ningun hotel su actitud fue muy cortante y la habitacion que me toco no srvia el aire acondicionado asi que hasta el dia siguiente me dieron otra Mi pregunta no habian ningun otro huesped mas que nosotros , nopodian haber checado el aire acondicionado que no servia??? Falta de supervicion El hotel es si es hermoso solo por una persona no llego a mejor puntuacion pero por el lugar hermoso , el restaurante no ofrece buenos desayunos como en paquete y los precios muy caros y como no habian mas huespedes me dio miedo comer ahi por la frescura de alimentos

The hacienda is an amazing natural place in the tropical forest and there are many animals and insects atound. Its understandable and very nice but there should be a warning. I found scorpiona scorpion inside the reception area and different spiders inside the rooms. It can be dangerous for small kids. The room was comfortable and the whole experience was an adventure. The staff was friendly. I wanted to use the pool in the early morning but i had to wait because they were cleaning the pool and because the person responsible for the towels was not available, even when it says that the pool is is open from earlier.
The hacienda is an amazing natural place in the tropical forest and there are many animals and insects atound. Its understandable and very nice but there should be a warning. I found scorpiona scorpion inside the reception area and different spiders inside the rooms. It can be dangerous for small kids. The room was comfortable and the whole experience was an adventure. The staff was friendly. Fabulous setting in the jungle , a beautiful sanctuary. The food was fresh and flavoursome. The pool was a perfect size and temperature for an afternoon swim in the rain. The turtles were cute and hungry. The manager was exceptionally knowledgeable and his English was clear and concise. A pleasure to have a discussion with. We booked the 90 minute spa session and were disappointed. The treatment price was top dollar anywhere in the world, and the service did not even come close to value for money. A few strokes and some body product painted on covered with leaves. The girls were chatting and giggling for at least 10 minutes of the treatment. We lost our vibe due to the distraction. We would stay again however do not recommend the spa until the owner invests in training. One other thing, we think the water in the room should not be charged for.
