I have no complaints about the property. They had good accomodations for outside pet areas. It's amazing how many properties will allow pets but have no area for them to use. This was great!

Extremely comfortable bed and spacious accommodations. The property is intuitively navigable and well set local to peaceful wooded scenery and all that south Gwinnett has to offer. While we may have lucked out regarding the traffic situation on the weekend we spent here the location is easy to get in and out of off the main highway. Truly an anxiety reducing if not all together eliminating experience. The option of their complimentary later check-out time did help relieve the stress of packing in a full restful night’s sleep along with a quick dip in the indoor pool for a leisurely kickoff to our week ahead.

The room and the area around the building were good. But the elevator was continually broken when we were there. Had to use the stairs difficult for me to do since I'm disabled.

The property in the room for very clean and they put in their travel size shampoo and soap Dove brand. But the pool which was an indoor pool was murky and cold. And the breakfast buffet needs some help. The only thing that had hot was scrambled eggs which weren't really nice or sausage links everyday and I was there for 5 days so I spent money eating breakfastout as well

The place was conveniently located to both Truist Park and Stone Mountain which was the reason for our visit. The AC unit in our room was quite noisy and did not seem to cool the room sufficiently. Everything in the room was slightly damp including the towels. We did not use the indoor pool, but the water seemed rather murky. The hot breakfast was fine but there were not sufficient seating/tables and many times we had to wait for restocking of food and plates.

Got stuck in the elevator on day 1. We also heard of other people having the same issue so the rest of our stay we used the stairs…not fun to do when you have to carry a very heavy hockey goalie bag. Both days we were at breakfast at 8 and either they were out of coffee, eggs or bagels and no hostesses in sight to keep tabs on things. The pluses were that location was very close to where we were attending.

DO NOT STAY HERE!! First the room I booked I didn’t get! She stated it was and ongoing issue with the owner posting the wrong pic for room with jacuzzi. They put me n handicap room! The was very nasty! We had to get them to change the sheets that had blood on them. All staff have horrible customer service! I would have changed hotels if I wasn’t so tired the day of travel from Las Vegas! The lobby is nasty! Chairs nasty! Worse hotel ever!! Never again!!

Except for one issue worth mentioning. During my three night statly, I did see two to three roaches in my room. The hotel was apologetic and assured me that this issue is being addressed professionally. Since my previous stays were extremely pleasant, I will definitely give this La Quinta another try since this hotel. After all, it is conveniently located and reasonably priced.

Entre, lobby, hallways and room had a foul odor. Hallways and elevator where the worst and hallways dirty and elevator smell the worst. Didn’t meet the rating on Expedia at time of booking. Would not stay here again

The night receptions that checked me in wasn’t friendly at all and barely spoke. The third floor smelled of strong excrement for two days, the smell was so strong it was in the room with children. I asked for a new room in a different floor but they were unable accommodate me and because of the time of night and the way that I booked I was unable to cancel.. The receptionist at the desk glared at me when I asked her was she aware of the smell of feces and urine. She didn’t care and suggested at 1am I cancel my reservation and go to another hotel. The smell was so strong I had to open the windows in my room for little relief. The smell lingered the entire weekend and the staff acted as if it were normal. My little one became sick to her stomach and I ended up having to leave and go to another hotel. My entire family was sick at this point everyone having a stomach bug that Im certain we picked up from this hotel. Management was made aware by my travel agent and they were unsympathetic and un·ac·com·mo·dat·ing. My husband has reached out to corporate with the videos and I plan to share this review a hundred times if I have to.

Check in is 3pm, we arrived at 4:30pm and the front desk said our room was ready and checked us in but when we got to the room they were still cleaning it so we had to stand in the hallway with all of our stuff while they finished up. The thermostat kept changing settings from heat to cool so the temperature kept changing.

I think this is a great place to say. Almost everything was up to par. I’m not sure if it was just my room but there were about 6 lamps but still so dim in the room, they are no ceiling lights except in the bathroom. All lights outside the bathroom were very dim so maybe they need a different type of light fixtures/bulbs. The ironing board had visible stains and wear and tear. I also noticed a distinct smell in the room, which I believed to be the carpet. So maybe the carpet needs to be replaced. Other than that, pretty good.

Rating 4 stars for a couple reasons: 1. On night two of my stay I left my room at 9am that morning and didn’t return until around 7:30-8 at night. When I arrived at my room my door was locked in the open position, I’m assuming by the cleaning staff. So for roughly 7-8 hours my room was open and my belongings unsecured. I did let the front desk know and the gentlemen working that evening took the time to check the cameras and called me back to assure me no one had entered my room. 2. The only other inconvenience was there were no cell phone plugs, most hotels now have cell phone plugs so you don’t have to use the wall plugs. Other than those couple things, the beds were comfortable, breakfast and coffee was great, staff was friendly, and the showers had really good water pressure.

Air conditioning unit was so loud. I actually had to turn it off at night to sleep. It had a rattling sound floors and walls were so thin. I could hear the individuals above me well past midnight. I was unable to get a good nights sleep for the three nights. I was there due to the noise.

We had to wait 30 minutes to check in due to a system being down, which system, I do not know. We put our bags in the room and headed right out. We were meeting family. We then came in after midnight. My daughter got in the shower and prepared for bed. When she lifted the cover there was blood in her bed. We were moved to another room with no further accommodations. The next day I went to the stores and everything was going ok. I get to a third store and my card declines. I thought maybe it was my bank placing a hold on my account because I was out of town, but it was not. I pre payed for our stay and was charged again so as a result, all of my money was gone from my account. I am a teacher in Illinois and I pre payed for everything because I had not been paid since June, so I was on a tight budget. As a result my trip was ruined, I had no money, I couldn't take my kids to do anything fun, I received overdraft fees and the list goes on. I checked in on September 1st, we checked out on the 3rd. I have called to leave a message with the manager and I have not received a call back. Today is September the 8th and still nothing. I will never patronize this company again. I feel so violated.

I am a senior woman suffering from an injury to my left knee. I was called en route (10/17) to say their elevator was down but was expected to be fixed on the next day. I carried all of my luggage from the 2nd floor lobby to room on the 4th floor. The clerk volunteered to help but never got up to do so on Saturday evening when asked about thevelevator, we were told that it would not happen before Tuesday, Oct 22. On checkout sunday, 10/20, because my knee had gotten much worsevfrom the trips up and down steps, I insisted that my luggage be brought down abd they did comply. Not sure I'll bpok with Expedia again but definately not the LaQunta in Snellville.

Breakfast needs to be updated, some days are better than others. Elevator floor was constantly wet from pool participants. Staff was friendly and always there when we came back late. Bathroom sink was clogged and it was fixed immediately, thus staff response is the best feature of this hotel.
