Econo Lodge Sevierville

I will start out by saying the guy that checked me into my 2 room reservation was VERY NICE. After check-in , things went downhill rapidly. I have called everyday to speak with the manager since I checked out and even filed a case with Choice hotels. Betal the manager won\'t return my calls. *No breakfast as advertised. * Adjoining door didn\'t work to go to the 2nd room. *Loose electrical outlets. *No coffee on Sunday morning. *Desk clerk at check out was too busy to acknowledge me, she was watching videos on her phone, so I just walked out without checking out. I\'m not hard to please and I try to be understanding, however this time after repeatedly attempts to speak with a manager and no response, maybe this review will get his attention or someone\'s. I was expected to pay full price yet I am supposed to be ok with no working adjoining room door and no breakfast all weekend and no coffee on Sunday. DO NOT STAY HERE!!! It\'s worth the extra cost to stay elsewhere that doesn\'t ignore their customers. This place has a spineless manager Betal (? last name?) who doesn\'t return my numerous calls and Choice Hotels who will create a case and notify management but that is all they can do.......to the girl at "checkout" too busy watching videos on your phone, I hope you are never treated the way you ignore your customers....work ethic training is much needed for this manager and one of his staff members. Don\'t waste your money! I should\'ve took the advice of the other reviews....

The room itself was clean and comfortable but in slight disrepair (paint chipped off of walls and floor bubbled slightly in bathroom). The lobby smelled strongly of weed and the night check in staff were really strange. The woman who gave us our parking pass seemed to be trying to sell us a time share or something. That said, it was only $50 and was fine for our needs.

Smelt like weed as soon as you walked in the door, there was hair, blood stain on the bed when arrived plus food still left in the fridge from someone before us. Really wondering if they clean bedding, no breakfast, as soon as you walked in someone is there to bombard you with ticket sales for local things !

Property was very convenient for our purposes (eating/shopping) and seemed to be well kept on the outside. Staff was not rude but seemed to be preoccupied at check in and check out (not a big issue). The biggest complaint was the lack of cleanliness of the shower/tub. Overall, not a bad place to stay for the price.

They are trying to update the hotel, so most fixtures are new.
