When first arrived on site they had been doing some remolding there was beds and stuff right in front where the canopy is. That should have been stored on the backside of the property.The first thing i noticed was the smell. The hallway carpets have not been shampooed and they tried to mask the smell with a strong fragrance. The room I stayed I believe was a remodeled one. There were people coming and going slamming the doors all night . Mold in the bathroom,worn furniture throughout. Lift chairs at the pool were broke and rusty. The pool was filthy with debris in it. The pool net was torn and left to rot. I paid north of $150 dollars for this stay and I would at least expect cleanliness. If I were the franchise I would be upset that this hotel was in this state. Never again will I stay here. The front desk was very nice.

I booked this because it had a hot tub which I need after a long travel day. Hot tub is out of order. This has happened quite often lately! I'm considering not staying with Holiday Inn in the future. Otherwise the stay was good

great stay, great staff. The hotel was very clean as well as the rooms. The hotel looks to have been fully updated so it also has a very modern updated look. the room floors are tile or more modern material. bottom line not carpet. Rooms were cleaned well bathrooms are very nice and the breakfast was good with a fair bit of variety. Parking was easy check was easy. We would for sure stay again.

Hotel was under renovations. I’m in construction so that doesn’t bother me. Construction debris was piled up at front entrance area. It was obviously there for quite some time. Not a great first impression. Room was adequate but overpriced. If room doesn’t meet my cleanliness standards I will likely sleep and leave next day w/ no shower. I didn’t shower here>.< We had tickets to see Sting/Billy Joel so all area hotels jacked up prices. Show was great. But room was average at best and certainly not worth the price. Next time we will just drive home.

Holiday Inn Express in Brooksville was clean, best breakfast of any hotel we have stayed in, front desk staff was pleasant and very helpful. Rooms were stocked. Only complaint is the hot tub was not hot.

We were very pleasantly surprised when we walked in our room that we had a 2 bedroom suite. We were not expecting that. We thought it was a separate king bedroom with a pullout sofa in living room. The suite was very spacious as was the bathroom. Everything was clean, no yucky carpets and beds were very comfortable. The only downside was trying to get the blinds up & down. It was done with like a light switch on the wall. It was very difficult. We had a decent size fridge, microwave, cabinets & small sink. No utensils, dishes or dish soap. All in all a great stay! It was room 222. It was super close to the Simpson Lakes wedding venue. A five minute ride. Perfect!

Dont stay in Room 101, because you get to hear the exit door slamming all night long just outside the room. There is also a high pitched sound that starts and stops every 20 minutes like an ice mmachine or something. Other than having trouble getting to sleep, it was great.

BRING.YOUR.EAR.PLUGS. Paper Thin Walls. Both nights I was here, I could hear my next room neighbors talking in normal voices, as well as their TV through the wall that was at a reasonable volume. Property itself as well as staff were wonderful.

Rhonda greeted an exasperated "me". I realized I booked the wrong location as our navigator went in a different direction. Rhonda and I discussed my situation and options. I asked if Rhonda would call the HIExpress that I thought I booked. A Supervisor came around the counter and started, forcefully and negatively. She started telling me that I cannot do this or that. I told her that Rhonda had already explained my options and that all I needed now was a call to the other HI to see if they had rooms available. While I engaged with Rhonda, I asked the Supervisor to call the other HI. No rooms available, so I knew we were staying with Rhonda. I thought the supervisor was rude to both me and to her own delightful employee Rhonda. Just wrong! Call me and I'll describe her!

After reporting excessive noise from the room next door around midnight we were surprised and unsettled when the hotel manager knocked on our door accompanied by two officers. Instead of addressing our concern we were told that the guests next door were simply playing cards implying no further action would be taken. This response left us as two women feeling unsafe and dismissed. It's unclear what the hotel's policy is in situations like this but the handling of the issue did not make us feel supported as guests. I strongly recommend that corporate provide better training for staff on how to address guest concerns with professionalism safety and respect. Unlike other hotels we've stayed at this location does not appear to have any designated quiet hours something that should be reconsidered. If safety and peace of mind matter to you I’d suggest staying in Wesley Chapel instead. Don’t compromise your comfort here.

Right off 75. If you have business in the Brooksville area or just need to stop and sleep, this is a good place to stay. You have Dunkin Donuts, Is Cracker barrel, Mcdonald's and two good gas stations
