Nothing fancy & not a lot of people. The beds are junk and spring filled. Breakfast, nothing special. Toll road noise was deafing, the hotel is very close. All night long you hear semi trucks pouding the pavement. No auto doors to gain access to the building (FYI wheelchair users or likewise.) 2nd night, we arrived late 830p found parking spot - Front desk called on the room phone (hour after returning) "you need to move your car. That is not a parking spot." Oddly, a blue SUV was parked there in the morning, so we know it is a parking spot, very confused, my husband moves the car, two spot back to another handicapped spot. My husband has handicapped parking hang tag and can park handicap parking spot.) Come out in the morning, same blue SUV parked in the spot we were not allowed to park in. Awesome. Woke our kids up that were sleeping and we were in the process of going to sleep ourselves. We turned off the TV, and the TV kept turning back on, so we unplugged it. The hair dryer there was not option to turn off and just unplugged the hair dryer too. Odd. Again, if you are need a cheap place for the night or couple days, great. Clean, very low key, not a ton of perks. (Bring your own hair care items and body wash.) The beds and breakfast were not the deal breaker on returning, cost is good and the location works for us; we are in the SB area 8x a year or better. BUT making a handicap car move so another person can take the spot, we are all set from returning.

Room was stale/smelly/not fresh. Bed covers and sheets smelled old and musty. Bed covers had small stains on them. The first-floor window lock was poorly repaired from what was likely a prior break-in attempt. The tub faucet was poorly installed and stuck out of the wall with exposed piping behind it. Property was dirty, with misc. trash on the ground. Strong smell of marijuana near the entrance to the hotel. I did not feel safe here. I went to the breakfast area at 9am, and there was no breakfast - nothing to eat, and only apple juice to drink. The staff, however, were generally friendly, nice, and helpful, so that was the only good part.

Staff was friendly. Hotel needs to be updated. Missing pieces of floor. Squeaky, unsteady bed. Door did not fit properly in doorway. If I can see into the hallway then people in hallway can see into room. Not safe. Please see photo. Will not be staying here again.

I was very disappointed with this Red Roof due to the condition of the building as a whole. The hallway carpet was filthy and old. There were people milling around in the parking lot late at night and I saw one person looking through the dumpster. The breakfast bar had very limited food out, the eggs and sausage were cold, the sweet rolls and bagels container was nearly empty. There was only one ice machine and vending machines on the 1st floor and our room was on the third floor.

I liked the location. It was close to the highway and close to our destination (Notre Dame). It was clean enough, but could have been cleaner. The common areas should be modernized. The carpets/ paint/stain on doors & trimwork should definitely be upgraded. It just looked outdated.

We now have stayed twice for single night stay. I was thrilled when I called after we left to see if they found a phone charger my husband left behind, they had it & I gave them permission to allow our son in-law to pick up. Room is always clean. My husband was disappointed in lack of breakfast choices. I was in management with RRI when all were company owned. Things have changed. Some pieces of baseboards missing. Use of inexpensive flooring obvious because it’s trying to bubble up. Not everyone would notice but I used to inspect rooms daily for cleanliness and maintenance needs. It’s what you pay for.

Our room was dirty door on jacuzzi tub was open tub was dirty. Floors were dirty. Shower head in the bathroom was so clogged it didnt spray just a little stream. Hair in the sink. An empty wine bottle still next to the fridge, pillows were so flat they needed to be replaced years ago. Dogs in the room next door barking. Front desk went and had them turn the music down but as soon as he left it went back up.

We stayed here last year and it definitely has declined. I do not know if there was a change in ownership or what. The water smelled coming out of the faucet. The beds were uncomfortable. The room smelled funny. I would if left but this was the second hotel we had been to due to the other one being in an unsafe area, I was to tired to try another. For $450.00 I would give it a 1.5/10. We will not be returning next year here for an Notre Dame game.

I enjoyed the quiet and how nice the view was right out the window of our room. Very clean and room service when new towels were needed on top of the bed being remade when we would come in from our shenanigans was nice to crawl in to a nice clean bed!

Absolutely disgusting! Sheets were stained, bed pillows were so old and stiff I woke up with a terrible neck ache all day. Shower and bathroom were filthy. Place needs updated badly. Will never return or recommend to anyone.

The room we stayed in was incredibly noisy. I cannot emphasize this enough, very, very noisy. The highway is right next to it and the windows clearly do not block out the noise. The room also was clearly a smoking room that the hotel had tried to fabreeze. We are back home and all of our clothes smell. The bedspread had burn holes in it, assuming from cigarettes. There was long hair (see photo) on one of the beds. The furniture was worn, the lampshade stained. Every time somebody used water the pipes made a high pitched sound. The gentleman checking me in did not give me a “sleeve” with the room number on but I had to find paper in my bag to write it down along with the WiFi name and password, there was no note with that. He also kept asking me how much I travel and when I asked him if this is for a survey he said no. I just wanted to check in but he kept asking. Very poor experience all around. Would not stay here again

Lovely grounds and a good place to walk dogs--flowers and lovely lawns. Bathroom was absolutely new and the room very nice with microwave, fridge, good TV, comfy beds. The kind reception manager gave me a room on the ground floor near door when he learned I had a dog.

Not spectacular, but also not horrible. Grounds were decent. Parking lot was nearly empty when we checked in. Listing says pets are free. Was informed only one pet free, the second was $15. Room was decent, fairly modern decor. Bed was in the middle on comfort. Microwave was gross. Huge clumped of dried food from who knows how many guests prior. Had no shower curtain. Called and was told one would be brought up. Never came, so i went to get one. Clerk was honest though and said he forgot and was very apologetic. Overall not a bad stay, but nothing to bookmark the place for a return trip.

We waited 15 minutes for the desk clerk to show up. Ended up paying 100$ more than the site had predicted we would. The floor by the tub was missing the transition piece. Only one garbage can that we moved from the bathroom to the main room. The blankets on the bed were outdated and not like the pictures. The room doesn’t give much of a cozy feeling. The breakfast on Saturday was lacking so much, Sunday they had eggs and sausage which was much better then Saturdays mostly empty display. I enjoyed the closeness to shopping, we took our cat with us every time we left. I probably wont be coming back to this hotel. I must be more of a high end hotel type of place person.

This is a newer Red Roof Inn or recently renovated with pleasant staff and nice breakfast room. There are 3 entries so easy to move in and out and multi storied so not too long. Easy drive to nice restaurants.

Wax kept up all night by a air conditioning system that was broke and rattled all night long and when told them in morning they said it was wind sound wasnt windy out that night i recorded different times through the night and let them listen proved it wasnt off ered no compensation and breakfast was so bad wouldn't eat itwhat there was egg tasted bad no juice even said and didn't refill would not stay there again

It’s cheap. Continental breakfast was not well stocked. Coffee grounds in the cup. A major complaint is the room was supposed to be a superior room including microwave mini fridge and coffee/tea maker. No Coffee Maker. That’s why I booked it. Paid more for that!! Our friends room also didn’t have a coffee maker I booked both rooms to have that included. Not happy about it
