This property is inexpensive, and you’ll get even Less than you paid for. The property is dirty, and you’ll can smell it when you walk in. The entrance is poorly marked and tiny. A young fellow was at the desk (dressed very casually), and he needs some hospitality training. No smile, no”welcome”, virtually no verbal exchange, just the sense that we were interrupting him by checking in. We were greeted in our bathroom with dirty towels from a previous guest hanging over the curtain rod. The motel promotes its indoor pool, which is great! Be even better if there was water in it. We were on the 2nd floor of this “walk up” hotel. The stairs are somewhat off kilter making climbing up rough and going down dangerous when carrying luggage. Speaking of dangerous, the bathroom is very small (okay—inexpensive), but there are no decals or textured mat for the tub—and it’s SLIPPERY! Talk about an accident and lawsuit waiting to happen! The hallways aren’t air conditioned and the air is stagnant. There’s an opening near the stairs for an ice machine hookup, but there was no machine. I’m n the first floor it took 4 minutes to get 1/3 o f our ice bucket filled. The bed was comfortable (not the pillows), and the TV worked fine; there was a refrigerator and microwave in the room, along with 2 retro 1950’s plastic chairs, iron and board. Avoid this nightmare place, drive a bit further, and go the Holiday Inn Express in Peotone—it’s outstanding!! Twice the price and worth it!

This is a bare bones hotel. Very clean and good staff but the pool was drained and closed, no breakfast and no elevator to the second floor. Had to carry all belongings up a flight of stairs. Was ok to sleep in for one night.

The hallways are not air conditioned. Pool had been closed since October which was not stated on hotels.com. States daily cleaning, but that wasnt the case either. Would not recommend this hotel.
