The pool was closed “for maintenance” for most of my visit. No one was actively working in the pool area during that time. When it did open, it was very cold and the solarium windows were open. Breakfast was overpriced and the room was too. The staff were friendly but I would not stay here again.

The double trees are always old looking and feeling. I wasn’t impressed with the state of my room and my bathroom smelled like urine and I could see deep yellow stains on the toilet lid like they hadn’t wiped it down. The smell really ruined it for me. The room is nice but again, everything feels old and outdated. They need to update the decor!

The bathroom light was broken and flickered all night. I woke up to bit marks on my face that were not there before I went to sleep. There was a used condom underneath the night stand that didn't. Having to chose for myself I would NOT be staying there again. No USB chsrgers in the room. The only outlets that were somewhat usable were on the wall. The ones on the lamps the charging blocks just fall out so those couldn't be used.

The property could use some major updates, I felt like it was 2003. The wallpaper is peeling in the hallways, the furniture in the rooms is very dated, the shower head was gross and built up with grime, the TV was from 2010, and the AC unit was very loud. But, it was very clean, the staff was very friendly, and I was comfortable!

Room and hotel are fine. Location works well, room is clean and comfortable and the staff are friendly. Biggest issue is the bathroom had a different 3 inch cockroach for 3 straight days. I am not looking to shower with a bug.

It took me 20 minutes to get hot water in shower. Room was small but manageable. I was informed all doors were locked around the property for safety measures but the side door to the outside parking was unlocked around the clock just outside our room definitely did not make me feel safe now days. For that price no complimentary breakfast. Restaurant closed after spending all the day traveling we wanted food but there was plenty around the vicinity. Just for that price doubletree probably wouldn’t be my first choice and you have to pay for all the amenities. We came in town for a funeral and was looking for a place so 10 of our family members could get together for the afternoon and enjoy each other and again we could rent a spot.

My biggest issue was my mattress and the toilet! Mattress was extremely hard which caused my back to hurt. I endured the uncomfortable bed as long as I could. I got up and continued on to my destination. The toilet… let’s just say, they need a new one. I had to hold the handle to flush and make sure it didn’t get stuck. Probably my last time.

For the price of a nights lodging, we expected more. We had stayed here before and it was not run down. Who wants to use community shower items or a bottle of lotion? Very poor taste. Doors were all marred and scratched. Not welcoming sight. Rugs were worn.None of the front desk personnel were hospitable. No one ever greeted us in any way. No way we will ever stay here again!

Bed was very comfortable. Staff were friendly. Close to mall and places to eat. The hotel is getting a renovation so construction workers were there at 8:00 am. Otherwise, rating across the board, would have been excellent! Will stay there again.

The staff is a solid 5-star team—friendly, helpful, smiling, and courteous—from the front desk to the bar/restaurant to the cleaning crew. However, the facility itself is pretty dated and in need of attention. I would stay here again, but the prices are very high for a hotel in this condition.

I have stayed at this location on and off for 30 years. Way before doubletree. The location is excellent, right beside the mall. I guess my only complaint is the price of the room. It was higher than other motels in the area. I went ahead and chose it because of my familiarity with the property.

Bed was very comfortable. Staff were friendly. Close to mall and places to eat. The hotel is getting a renovation so construction workers were there at 8:00 am. Otherwise, rating across the board, would have been excellent! Will stay there again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our night in Johnson City. Breakfast was available at the restaurant on-site for a fee. Staff was extremely friendly. Room was spotless. The bed was very comfortable.

I was told that breakfast would be complimentary, so I grabbed two slices of bacon and an orange juice, and then the waitress told me to pay her $15. It is absolutely unreasonable to make me pay that amount of money for two strips of bacon that I didn’t even finish as well as orange juice and water. Hospitality rating is a -5. I will never stay at one of these locations again and I plan on telling all my friends and family to never stay at one of these locations.

The stay was good, the Burger Bar was awesome. The only issue I had was my bank card was charged twice for a night’s stay before I even checked in, which took money out of my account I had for my trip. This was on a Saturday so my bank has yet to release the charge until the next business day.

The pool was closed “for maintenance” for most of my visit. No one was actively working in the pool area during that time. When it did open, it was very cold and the solarium windows were open. Breakfast was overpriced and the room was too. The staff were friendly but I would not stay here again.

The staff was very helpful and the establishment was clean. The hotel is being renovated. The hall ways and carpet make it look less modern and will benefit from the remodel. Overall, great experience with breakfast included.

This property is in need of a refresh. The finish onthe wood doors is showing a lot of wear and tear as just one example. There was no one at the desk to give us a folio at checkout. The breakfast buffet had a good selection. Unfortunately, it was not tasty. On the plus side, the room was a nice size.

We booked this for New Years Eve and after we did we found out the pool was closed and that is the only reason we booked here. The dinning and bar closed at 8:00 on New Years Eve. There was no manager or anyone there to talk to us about a refund we could not get help with anything!

Every staff member we encountered were wonderfully helpful and friendly. The only reason im only giving this hotel a 3 star review is due to the hardness of the beds and the softness of the pillows. I understand this is a personal preference for everyone so if you enjoy a very firm mattress and very soft pillows then this is the place for you, however unfortunately they were almost impossible for us to sleep on and that definitely took away from us being able to enjoy our stay

It’s a pretty old hotel so I expected it to show its age a bit and it did. The thing that was dirty was our first batch of towels that were in our room when we arrived. There was makeup swiped across the first towel I grabbed when I stepped out of the shower and then the second one was clean. Then my husband took a shower and grabbed a towel that had clothing sticker tag stuck on it. We did go down to the front desk and get new towels with some warm cookies that night. Other than the towels the shower was really good and the beds were very comfy and they were clean. I checked everything thoroughly after the towel incident. The location was good for us. We wanted to be in a central location where we could visit with different family and friends while we were there. Overall, it wasn’t a bad place to stay. The staff were all really nice and hospitable. The parking was ample and free.

Hotel was clean and located near lots of chain food restaurants. I did not receive great service at the hotel burger spot; the burger was overpriced and trying to be fancy, and it took burgers way too seriously.
