Dont eat at the restaurant they give you the discount card for. The food is subpar and expensive. Reception desk could be friendlier. Terrace on 5th floor needs attention! WiFi is not secure! Breakfast buffet is average at best. Go check out Farmacia Paris is you enjoy showing! 2 blocks from the zocalo.

The hotel is in a very convenient location. It's an old building with the Mexican charm and is properly maintained. The staff is awesome. Very welcoming, helpful and friendly. The complimentary breakfast is enough to start one's day and the provided laundry facility is a big plus. I would stay again if I ever go back to Mexico city.

There was only one elevator working during the three nights that we stayed. The price of our room was different than what we were guaranteed through Expedia.. different rooms were different prices when we all had the same room

Being a very long time hampton in costumer i always go out of my way to stay at hampton inn. Always 10 out od 10. Two issues here. 1.they need to make costumers aware that parking has a fee 250pesos i believe. 2. Day of check out its only 9am amd already had housekeeping go im my room twice while i was sleeping and the 3rd time they knocked asking what time we are leaving.. to my knowledge checkout is at 12,why bother us 3 to 4 times even walking in the room to clean. Then why do we have checkout times? Not pleased with servicd proveded why such a hurry? When i paid until checkout!

Fantastic breakfast buffet, different hot food each morning during 4 nights stay. I love their homemade hot cinnamon tea ! Staff are friendly and warm. Good hot water shower. Have laundry room at complementary that we were able to wash three days of dirt clothes before we moved to other towns. Very Convenience location with short distance walk to many spots. Try the pastry store across the street from this hotel, insanely delicious ! I would recommend this hotel.

Perfect place two blocks from El Zócalo. The hotel is a well kept property that had a fresh smell upon arrival not only at the lobby but also the room. Super comfortable bed and spotless bathroom. Kept the rating at 4 based on the lack of a soap dish in the shower. There was no towel rack for the hand towels and the morning coffee at breakfast was cold.The terrace on the 5th floor is nothing like they present in pictures, all the fancy patio furniture is gone and it had stacks of chairs. We had to pull two chairs to sit and enjoy the view. In all it's a good place based on proximity to the historic center and it's restaurant Garabatos.

Although there was free breakfast, hygiene was not maintained at all! There was a huge black hair in scrambled egg, plates coffee cups had food stains as they were not washed properly. Was very off putting and lost my appetite. Coffee was just simply terrible.

Good Stay. The room as well as the hotel were clean. Breakfast was awesome. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were small and it was somewhat noisy, as we were facing the open lobby area. Great location near the center of town.

It was very clean and all the staff makes you feel at home. The breakfast was delicious every day. The hotel is only 3 blocks away from Zocalo, easy walk to museums, restaurants and shops. It was very safe to walk day/night since so close to Palacio de Gobierno, plenty of security officers and female cops as well in the area. Made us very safe on our walks. Aways hotel staff present at the door made us feel secure

The check in was until 4 because the room was not ready. Worst part is they make me wait but the room was not clean, a lot of hair in the shower and the floor was sticky…the safe was so dirty, I had to clean everything with disinfectant wipes

Overall the hotel was very nice and in an excellent location for walking to the historic center. However, if your room has a street facing window, like ours did, be prepared for noisy nights. I had to use the white noise app on my phone to be able to sleep.

I had never stayed there, but I know downtown Mexico City very well, so it was ideal from that point of view. Room was really small, though sufficient for 1 person. Older so, very noisy as people pass by, running talking, etc. no exterior window to my room. Breakfast was okay…but I love breakfast in restaurants so that big of a deal to me at hotels. 3 blocks from el Zocalo which is Independence Plaza…witching walking distance of everything downtown. And the price was right. Staff was a delight at every turn. Convenient! I’d stay there again.

The hotel is clean and staff is amazing. However, we had to change rooms(pay extra) to a suite because the first room smelled like paint, had no natural lighting, dark, and one small window. In the suite the water in the sink would not go down, and the shower overfilled. The breakfast included was also not good at all. We had to stick to just bread and fruit with the food items they provided.

Do not get a room with a window it is a super busy street and you will hear noises all day and night. I don’t know if getting a room on a higher floor would help but avoid a window room. Besides the constant noise, everything else was ok. The area is very walkable and I felt safe walking day and night. The breakfast was basic and they did offer a variety of things.

In general, our stay at the Hampton hotel was comfortable, except that the room had no view anywhere because the only window it had was sealed and was not transparent, so the room was a little dark.

Friendly staff, room was clean and well appointed. I arrived and went directly to sleep. Woke up after a nap to discover that my window was not a real window but some sort of light panel. This offset my sleeping pattern greatly but it was just two days. If I had noticed at first, I would have asked for something else.

Friendly staff, great location. Room quality could’ve been better. It had a musty smell, it was run down, the sofa had holes in the fabric, it was dark and the lighting they had in there was not the best. The picture and description said bathtub. it ended up with only a shower.

When I arrived... the people at the front desk told me that the rate had gone up with apparently no reason. I had already paid for my full stay to Expedia and they ended up charging mi credit card almost 200dls more. I never received any cleaning or top off the towels, nobody ever showed up to clean, yet I still got overcharged. I should get a refund

Please read review! Safety concern at this hotel! The front office employees at the Hampton Inn-Centro Historico used our friend's personal check-in information to try and extort them in the middle of the night (second night of our stay). The callers had information only the employees would have access to. The callers said they wanted to interview them regarding an issue downstairs with a car, stating it had drugs and guns. The callers purposely stated our friend's full name and room number to intimate them. Think about getting a call like this in the middle of the night, in a different county and not knowing who you can trust (obviously not hotel staff) or who to ask for help. Our friends ended up going to our hotel room that night as all we can think to do that night was to stay all together until the next morning. The hotel you stay in during your vacation should be your safe space and we did NOT feel safe here!! We left the hotel next morning and checked in to a different one. Also, very disappointed in this booking company for not taking our complaint in a serious matter when we feared for our lives.

There were a couple of issues. Me and my wife stayed for 3 nights, (5/24-24 to 5/27/24, second night a pair of shoes were missing!!,we reported and a day later 2 people came and register the room like we were hiding something,(them called protocol), the third night my headphones were missing, ($350 worth), we were heading to the airport, so we never get to talk to the manager, I will definitely will report this to the HQ, and never come back!!!

As always the staff make the biggest impact. They were wonderful! From the check in to the concierge staff to the people that ran the breakfast, all great! The room was clean and spacious (we had a suite). I was surprised at how quiet it was even with a room overlooking the street. The location was also fabulous. Close to the Zocalo. Highly recommended!

Our experience was good in general. Good restaurant in the lobby. The only problem was the noise caused by the police outside the hotel as early as 6 am with the whistle that made us to wake up so early and limit the resting time.

It was very clean and all the staff makes you feel at home. The breakfast was delicious every day. The hotel is only 3 blocks away from Zocalo, easy walk to museums, restaurants and shops. It was very safe to walk day/night since so close to Palacio de Gobierno, plenty of security officers and female cops as well in the area. Made us very safe on our walks. Aways hotel staff present at the door made us feel secure

It is a neat and clean hotel with friendly employees. The food is good. Since it is located in the downtown area it is super safe and you find cops in every corner. I'm glad I pick this hotel for my vacations. All kinds of food, stores, attractions, and friendly people in the area.

Excellent location, short walk to Constitution Plaza, lots of shops and food venues, felt very safe, police everywhere. Streets in Historic Centro kept very clean. Many historical buildings, museums, former palaces and cathedrals to visit all within walking distance. Room good, bed very good. Bottled water replaced daily. No issues. Would have been nice to have mini fridge. Breakfast very adequate with daily hot choices, choices, fresh fruit. Desk Staff spoke good English and Concierge Edgar was very helpful. While we loved the location, you can expect to see derelicts sleeping on the sidewalk, disabled begging in the street, blind singing for coins,

GOOD: The staff was friendly and the property was clean. BAD: Disliked the breakfast. Not enough variety, food was cold, not enough plates or silverware, had toast but no Jelly/Jam, Waffle maker worked one day during our 5 day stay.

We can walk to many major attractions from the hotel. It is very safe with many police on the streets. It does get a little deserted since the shops close in the evening but if you aren’t out too late, there are still a lot of people walking around. We didn’t walk past 9pm. Uber is convenient & inexpensive. Having breakfast included was convenient when you have an early start but they need improvement. Most of the time, eggs were cold, potatoes & sausages dry & overcooked, hot water was lukewarm.

Although there was free breakfast, hygiene was not maintained at all! There was a huge black hair in scrambled egg, plates coffee cups had food stains as they were not washed properly. Was very off putting and lost my appetite. Coffee was just simply terrible.

Good value. Included breakfast which was always cold scrambled eggs and usually overcooked link sausage or unedible pressed sausage. Also tasteless overcooked vegetables and the usual quite satisfactory cold cereals, waffles, yogurt cups, and a few unidentifiable things. Oh and quite good Fruits. Excellent location. If price is a high priority I would raise rating to four stars.

Fantastic breakfast buffet, different hot food each morning during 4 nights stay. I love their homemade hot cinnamon tea ! Staff are friendly and warm. Good hot water shower. Have laundry room at complementary that we were able to wash three days of dirt clothes before we moved to other towns. Very Convenience location with short distance walk to many spots. Try the pastry store across the street from this hotel, insanely delicious ! I would recommend this hotel.

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! This hotel was conveniently located just 2 blocks away from El Zocalo and just a short walk from Palacio de Bellas Artes. The gentlemen who checked in our bags recommended about 5 restaurants were we could go have brunch while we waited for our room to be ready since we arrived way before check in time. Not only did he pull out a map to show us where the restaurants were located, he also pulled up the storefront on google maps so we wouldn't get lost. The amenities were terrific, The laundry room was free, only thing you had to buy outside was laundry detergent for a mere 40 pesos ($2.36) and were good to go. Housekeeping was phenomenal. Esther was our housekeeper and she took the time to arrange all my makeup and makeup brushes on the desk for my future use. The rooms were cleaned everyday and left immaculate. The hotel staff was able to order us a taxi the night before our 6am flight, the taxi was punctual and was already waiting for us at 3:30am just as we requested. At those early hours we were able to make it to the airport in less than 15 minutes from the hotel. Book your stay here when visiting CDMX!

Solamente se nos presentó un pequeño inconveniente en la habitación porque había una gotera, pero lo alertamos y nos cambiaron de habitación.
