This hotel is extremely outdated. The units need to be renovated and brought up to date. At first glance the unit appeared to be clean but upon more inspection only a topical clean had been done. Dried urine and feces were under the toilet seat. Hairs were on the lip surrounding the tub. At least the bed linens were fresh and clean. Also no one was in the office and the lobby was locked at 9:30 in the morning when we went to checkout. A note said ring bell for service, which I did, but I didn't have time to wait for someone to show. I had to leave after waiting for at least five minutes. I will not stay here again. The hotel is in an ideal spot for access to dining and shopping. It's a shame it's so run down.

Went to check out at 10:15am and the lobby was locked up and NO access to coffee. Had to use the bullet proof pass thru window to check out. This is NOT customer service in the least.

DO NOT COME HERE. Someone hit my car in the parking lot and the owner would not let me look at the footage. Owner clearly just wanted to sit back in his flip flops rather than help me. Trash.

Wow! Did I just check into a homeless facility? The property was beyond disgusting. I turned the covers down to go to sleep and the bed was soaked in urine. This was reported to the office and they wanted me to wait for several hours until the manager returned. What? Wait? I go to ZZZ very early so that was not an option. The owner accused my dog of peeing in the bed.If my dog had peed the bed it would have been wet from the top to the bottom. Nope, the mattress was saturated with human urine. They eventually moved us but threatened us with a $200 fine if my dog peed again. What?

Nasty rooms. Most are smoking rooms. One room had a cigarette burn hole in blanket and sheets& towels in both rooms were very grungy. Other room smelled like pot when we arrived. Both rooms had cheap & worn furniture & carpet. So glad we brought our own linens & towels & shower shoes! Will never stay there again! Not even sure how they have a 6.8 rating...

Extremely dirty hotel. The room was musty, smells like smoke and towels were thin damp and dirty. It was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. Had to check out early as I was unable to sleep a second night in those conditions. I would never stay here again or allow anyone I know to stay here.

Omg , I don’t even know anyone could stand to be in that room! We were never told it was a smoking room and as soon as we walked in , I immediately went outside to vomit , not before noticing the stains on the comforter , the thick air in the room and the numerous boot prints on the door as if several people have tried to bust it down , immediately took the key back to the attendant and said No TY! I wouldn’t let my dog stay there

This hotel is located close to the road. Traffic noise could be heard. There is a Walmart directly across the street and a package store that is walkable from hotel. I’m traveling solo on a motorcycle so this place is ok for me. There is no breakfast here or hot coffee. However no shortage of typical fast food chains and restaurants. My room was clean and the bed comfortable.

It is an old motel and showing its age, however it was very clean -- at least our room was. Some things need to be addressed such as the door into the room was secure but there was a noticeable gap at the bottom between the door and door jam. The inside door between the sinks and shower should either be replaced or at least repainted. For the price paid it was fair value.

I booked a room, but when I got there, the hotel was in total disrepair, unsafe, smelled awful and no one was at the front desk when I walked into the lobby. My sister and I both said there was no way we were staying there for a single night. I canceled the room through the hotels.com site and then i cakes the hotel office to tell them I wouldn't be staying there. I was still charged for the stay. I called the hotel and they told me to call hotels.com, which I did. Their only solution was to call the hotel manager and ask them if they would refund the money since I didn't stay there and the manager said no, he wouldn't refund the money so hotels.com told me I have to pay even though they could see I stayed at another hotel in another town that night because this place was beyond awful. I would NEVER recommend this hotel to anyone!

This property has wrong address on google map. On google map it says 6 min walk to George college. It’s pins on map one block from Georgia College. If you follow directions it will not take you there. The real address is 10 minutes drive from college. Very disappointed stay.

Dirty stained rooms. Stains all over the room including the fabric headboard, the cloth chairs and the carpet. No food on the property whatsoever, not even hot coffee. Charged $40/night extra for pets for rooms not fit for humans. Do not stay here unless like me you have to get your pets out of the cold and have no other local options.

The place was chosen out of tiredness from driving. I needed a pet friendly hotel. I should have read the reviews before I booked the room! The picture from the website DID NOT depict the room my sister and I stay in. The bathroom had mold on the caulking, cigarette burns on the ironing board, the bed spreads and bed headboards on both queen beds. It was disgusting. Unfortunately the reservation was not available for cancellation after seeing the room. Hotel.com should remove Welcome Inn from your website. It’s going to give your company a bad review or reputation. I paid $100 for that room that was horrible and I had to pay an extra $20, non-refundable, on top of the $100. My dog could not have hurt anything in that room. My sister and I refused to shower or sleep under the covers! No coffee in the room or continental breakfast. Place is a dump!!!
