Nice hotel but getting a bit dated. Decor is old fashioned and showing signs of wear. Staff are very pleasant and helpful though and food is usually quite good. Breakfast choice was OK although serial was just boxes, no granola or dried fruit etc which is a little disappointing as I like to alternate the usual Bacon and eggs with a healthy choice from time to time.

I could not use the shower in my room. The smell from the drain was absolutely horrendous. I had to put a towel over the drain just so I could go in there & use the toilet. The smell was so bad that I surprised Housekeeping staff did not inform them before putting a guest in there! Both bedside sockets for lamps did not work. Luckily I only had one night there & so I told them about this the next morning at checkout. I was advised that a manager would contact me, but I heard nothing.

Clean and quiet as always 100% satisfied

Breakfast was disappointing.Only cooked breakfast on offer. No choice for those who dont like cooked. No fresh fruit at all . No continental option ie cheese or meat which was offered on previous stays.
