Overall the stay was nice. Clean, spacious room. Good breakfast. Only problems were that the pool and guest laundry were out of order/unavailable for the entirety of my 2 night stay, which was disappointing because those were the main reasons I picked that hotel.

The people at the front counter are great. Very helpful. I wanted to use the exercise room and it was closed during the stay.

I would like a partial refund because I didn’t have internet for my first night for 5 hours and the pool ladder was wobbly and the first step was broken,my daughter could have really hurt herself if she hadn’t noticed it was broken.

The hotel was great! Perfect for the local staycation we were hoping for. The pool was a bit on the colder side but my kids still enjoyed every second of it.

Property was clean, quiet, easy and free parking. Complimentary breakfast with many options to choose from. Staff was pleasant.

The property was decent, but it didn’t quite live up to expectations for the price. The gym was closed during my stay, and none of the ice machines were working. The rooms felt very humid, and unfortunately, I found a bug in one of the towels. That said, the service was friendly and responsive, which I appreciated.

Pool area was dirty and pool was cloudy. Staff was nice and friendly and room was great and comfortable.

Great check in. All seemed clean until we opened the microwave and their was pizza from previous guests in there! That was a bit alarmingly but hey, everyone makes mistakes. Just hope we had clean sheets haha Very convenient location and great dining and coffee options all round. Right off the highway.

Like cinnamon rolls. Dodnt like when we walked onto the hotel it wreaked of Marijuana. Our room was dirty. A loofa was left hangin in the bathroom, pubic hair on corner shelf, hairs on the ac/heat unit, spills in the microwave, some kind of substance on the door of microwave, and spillage all over the freezer. I informed the front desk when we were leaving for the day. He said he would take care of it. When we returned several hours later the bed was made but nothing else was touched. Went back to the same guy at the front desk and he gave us a new room. Ewww will never stay here again.

My bathroom floor wasn't swept, there was no trash barrels in room. I had to ask for one at the front desk. Was told they would bring one up to my room. Never did. I had to go back and ask again. There wasn't a lot of options for breakfast. I wanted eggs. There was eggs but only with cheese. Couldn't eat it. Had to search for lids that fit on coffee cups. The pool was so small that there was no room to swim once everyone else came in. And it was freezing. But it was clean. The stairs were very dirty with some sort of cotton. Thought it may be vacuumed the next day. It wasn't. The elevator floor was dirty. Looked like someone may have vomited in there. There were no coffee cups in the room. The only thing I liked was that the property was very quiet and the front desk staff was very nice and helpful.

We stayed at the hotel for a quick visit and we were blown away by the cleanilness and friendliness of the staff. The room was very big and compfortable - one of the best beds I have slept on in a hotel. I felt safe and parking lot was well lit. 100%, I would recommend this hotel.

Overall good stay little loud at night probably because we were near the elevator. Overall a little wear but definitely clean and super friendly staff!

1 night stay to visit family. We weren’t able to check in early, let alone on time, the room was not ready by 3. The room was oddly empty, the ceiling in the bathroom had holes and was crumbling, so we didnt shower. There were stains on the carpet. The fan was very loud, and the ac did not take the humidity out of the air.

Neighbor upstairs was walking around until I fell asleep. Water damage on ceiling in bathroom and no exhaust fan. Two tissues in the box on the bathroom counter and no extra sheets that I had asked for when making the reservation.

Window unit mini-split heat AC ran all night. Not sure it was actually connected to the thermostat. Otherwise, it was a nice, short stay.

Friendly staff, breakfast was average, our first assigned room was not ready and had to get another room. Later a mother and daughter were assigned our new room and had to get another one. There should be better training to avoid these kinds of issues.

The front desk receptionist Andrea was great. She not only was very pleasant, had a good sense of humor and also worked to help fellow employees to make the guests stay go well.

Our check in time was 3pm. We attempted to check in but were told our room was not ready. There were a lot of people waiting for there rooms, not just us. We didn't get our room until 7:00 pm. I'm typing this not for a refund but as a service to the Franchise to get this place running more efficiently. In all my years I have never experienced this, we question whether we will ever stay at a Holiday Inn again.

The woman at the front desk was so friendly and accommodating- especially when I couldn’t remember my room number and couldn’t get the key to work. She graciously assisted with a new key and told me my room number. The room was nice, I did notice some splatter near the ceiling and on the bathroom wall, that could use attention. Nice breakfast and good location.

Check in was a breeze, the room was large, clean.

After making a reservation on line using HOTELS.COM. When checking into the hotel they double charged me ( paid for the room via HOTELS.COM and when the hotel asked for the credit cards incidentals they also charge me for the room. When I brought the 2nd charge to the front desk attention the manager said there wasn't anything they could do . I left a voice message for the Dir. of Operation at the hotel but no one has returne my call after 2 days.

I had a truly terrible experience at this hotel that deserves to be shared, especially for those traveling late at night. After a long 4-hour drive, I arrived at the hotel at 1:30 AM, exhausted and ready to rest. Instead, I was given not one, but two different keys to rooms that were already occupied. Yes—twice, I walked in on people who were sleeping, understandably upset and confused about someone trying to enter their room in the middle of the night. I had to deal with their attitudes, which I don’t blame them for, and I’m sure they’ll also be leaving negative feedback due to this incident. What made matters worse is the staff’s complete lack of awareness. No one seemed to know what was going on or which room I was actually assigned to. It wasn’t until I returned to the front desk a second time and firmly demanded the issue be fixed that someone finally took the time to double-check. Once I was finally in the correct room, I couldn’t even get a decent night’s sleep because the AC unit was extremely loud and made disturbing noises throughout the night. I frequently visit Providence, but I will not be staying at this hotel again. This experience was unacceptable, especially for a late-night arrival. I strongly urge hotel management to review its check-in procedures and room assignment practices. I also believe some form of refund or compensation is warranted for the inconvenience, the stress caused, and the poor quality of my stay.

Stayed for three nights while visiting nearby historical sites. Room was clean and quiet at night. Proximity to nearby food shopping or restaurants.

I stay at this hotel once a year when I bring family members to a camp in Rhode Island. Initially, I should note that, post.-COVID this otherwise unremarkable hotel has increased all of its prices to a breathtaking $320 a night. This is an incredible price given that it’s not near anything whatsoever to speak of, except for an adjacent Home Depot and Walmart - not the water, a sports venue, or even in airport to Speaker. Like all who tells in its chain, it offers no outdoor pool or really any aesthetic, outdoor value or dining option. It’s just a superbly priced holiday inn express. Still, it’s worth observing that a decision has been made to price gouge like every other vendor offering any form of service in today’s market place without any rational relationship to actual cost at the retail level. The other criticism is a simple one that seems to occur with each visit: every room is damp, reflecting, a wildly, overdue servicing need of the window, air conditioning units. Dampness also carries an unwelcome smell; not overtly offensive, just ever present and heavy. For $320 a night, the hotel should endeavor to step up the few perks it can make available.

Great place to stay and the breakfast was excellent..

We had an excellent stay. The employee that checked us in was so nice and friendly and gave us some nice tips on a restaurant we were going to. It really set the tone for a nice experience. The room was clean and comfortable. I really liked then chaise that was in the room. Very nice addition. Breakfast was a lot better than I was expecting. Tons of options ranging from hot food to muffins and bagels to cereal. The pancakes were excellent.

At breakfast there were no coffee cups, no hot cereal, no milk for cold cereal, no fruit, no yogurt, pancake maker wasn’t working. No notice or acknowledgment from the staff that breakfast was limited.

Often skipping housekeeping. Breakfast was very basic, often offering lukewarm coffee even at the beginning of breakfast. Not impressed at all.

The property is clean and the rooms are spacious also. But I was disappointed with the house keeping or the service during breakfasts time. Housekeeping sometimes forgot to provide towels. During breakfast, staff are not checking pancake machine or coffee machine that need attention or sometimes they don’t fill up the empty food tray. Otherwise the staff are really nice. But they need to be careful about the service which the customers are supposed to get as a part of the standard facility.

Room needed minor maintenance repairs. Overall, good location, breakfast fine but could use more variety.

Our room was clean and sufficient however cable did not work.. we always book our hotels that include breakfast. However there was no hot beakfast because of an oven problem. The front desk staff offered us $25 refund but it had to go through hotels.com. How do resolve this?

Stay was fine. They were busy and struggled to have enough food/coffee made for breakfast and were unable to clear the trash, so it piled up. Problem between this hotel and Hotels.com that charged us for a night we did not stay. Both kept pushing it back on the other and we still have not recieved a refund!
