Wine Country Inn

We enjoyed the property very much. The complimentary wine tasting was a highlight. Gym was small and equipment didn't work well. Pool and hot tub were being renovated and not open.

Close to the freeway, restaurant in house, rooms were great. Located in a real vineyard. Wines were amazing.

Cute property but the pool and hot tub were both closed for refurbishment. The breakfast needed some serious help…ran out of food items, lack of seating, and lack of selection. Not sure we will be stay again.

Service was great and the hotel offered lots of nice things (wine tasting). Room was nice and overall property was kept in amazing g condition. EV chargers on the southwest side was unexpected (we didn’t take our EV on this trip though).

Charming place. Free wine tasting in the lobby and an ample breakfast included. Good bed. Beautiful pool and hot tub which during our stay featured a fully loaded peach tree.

The room was nice but noisy. It was by the elevator. We asked for a quite room, however the young lady checking us in was not very friendly and was not inclined to see if there was another room. Their fitness center consisted of two bikes and an elliptical machine. Not much of a fitness center.

A gift to stay here any time. The rocking chairs that relax you as you enjoy the beauty of the surroundings and sip on a glass of complimentary wine, just puts you at ease.

Nice approach to the hotel through a vineyard then on to a beautiful and well kept entrance. The front desk was quick, pleasant, and friendly. Our room was spotless and comfortable. We had a great breakfast that was cooked to order.

I think the price was really really high for the room to bee cleaner. The room look clean but smell like wet dog and it had dog hairs.

Don’t get room #219. Has sewer smell in bathroom. Was told it’s an ‘ongoing’ problem.

It was very clean, everyone was friendly and we enjoyed our stay there.

My husband and I have stayed here previously and always look forward to returning. The rooms are clean and the bed comfortable and the location is beautiful! Our breakfast was fresh with omelets made to order on quiet days like Mondays. We enjoy the in between seasons!

They didn’t clean my room even if expressly requested

It's a stop-through hotel along the 70. Vineyards on site, neat if you're into that. The rooms are a little dated but still comfortable. Couldn't get our Netflix to work because it requires Internet and the TV wouldn't connect. The gent making omelettes at breakfast was super nice!

Loud upstairs neighbors in a 50% capacity hotel. I wish they would have put the loud family on a lower floor. Kids up all night running around. Otherwise very nice place.

Great hotel near Palisade. Beds are extremely comfortable and the rooms are large. The pool is wonderful and every evening there is both a wine tasting and a happy hour. The wine tasting is free but we didn’t like the wines that they were offering. The breakfast in the morning was included with a great choice of options. I cannot tell you how fantastic the shower in the bathroom is! It was both great water pressure and flow.

Nice property. Staff at check in was a bit bland. Not very friendly. Nice lobby, welcome glass of wine, good food at restaurant. Room and bathroom were clean and quiet. Nice vineyards nearby. Decent pool. Rooms have DISH network that were confusing to use. Remote never did work properly. Not sure why hotels can’t get any easy to use tv and remote. Ridiculous. Overall, we’d stay again.

This is our second time staying at the Inn and it’s always amazing. The beds are super comfy, rooms are spacious, and the showers are fabulous!! We love the evening wine reception and the breakfast is yummy. The onsite restaurant is fantastic!!

Unfortunate start to what is usually a great stay. We requested a specific room, knowing that it may not be possible. When I checked in, the room was available, and the same rate as the room I had booked. But I was told because I booked through Expedia, I could not change the room that had been assigned to me. Room was available, same rate, but their "back-end system" would not allow the change (because the room was ADA compliant). Either don't allow booking through Expedia, or update your software. Either way, should not have been my problem.

We stayed at the Wine Country Inn in Palisade, CO on our trip out west to visit many of our great National Parks. I was charged by the hotel the full amount of the incidental/security deposit credit card hold that they require when you check in and it was the largest deposit I have ever been required to put down. No other hotel in my travel life had ever abused their right to make a charge against the deposit so I slid my card in as required. I did not know they used the deposit until a few days after I got home and reviewed the transactions from our trip. I called them right away to inquire as to why they charged me as the room had been prepaid through Expedia. They told me that it was Expedia that told them to charge the card and "stuff like this happens when you book 3rd party". So I called Expedia (and it was difficult to get through) they said they had nothing to do with the credit card charge and then put me on hold while they called the Wine Country Inn who then changed their story about the charge and told Expedia that the charge was because three pillows were missing from the room that we stayed in. I did not steal their used pillows! Sad that people have to go through the hassle and wasted time and loss of money. Vacations are suppose to be about having fun, learning and creating good memories not the bad memories and hassles I got here. But I will as Rick Steves famously says "Keep on Traveling" and I will skip the Wine Country Inn next time I'm in Colorado.

We stay here every year and it is our absolute favorite stop on our trip! The staff are so fun and friendly, the hotel is clean, the grounds are well kept, and the location is stunning! We are looking forward to our next trip - thank you for everything!!

Very nice stay. We locked our keys in the car and the one maintenance guy did everything to help. Very nice people working there The breakfast was good with friendly staff. Would stay again.

We’ve spent several years in a row here. This year fell short. Jennifer went above and beyond to make us feel less important than other guests. Very off putting and disappointing. Not sure if this will be our last year even though we would have been a guarantee to revisit year after year.

Our stay was excellent! On the first night, the staff offered to take our luggage to our room. Another member of the staff talked to us for about 10 minutes, recommending great wineries and other local things to do. For a free breakfast, it was delicious. Overall, the property was clean and beautiful and the staff was friendly and fantastic

We were having problems with the TV and Jana came to our room to fix it. She said if she could not get it to work she would find a different room for us.

The property is right off of the highway for easy access and has an amazing view of the mountains along I-70. There are a few places within walking distance including a winery, restaurant, gas station, and a fruit stand. It’s a very picturesque location with a pool and decent breakfast. They also have a happy hour and one hour of free wine at the hotel each night.

Guest greeting was fantastic with overview of restaurants and rules! Ate at Caroline’s and food was wonderful at a reasonable price. Ordered savignon blanc local wine which was very good at a reasonable price and can cork and take remaining on property. Pool was quiet with hot tub! Very relaxing -great location to relax -not a party place!!! Would love to come pack earlier in day to go to all the local wineries!! Great views!!!!

Close to interstate, so very easy to find. But it is a walk-able but far diatance from main part of this small tiwn

Property is surrounded by Grapevine. Has a beautiful Mountain View, and is only a mile or two from downtown.

Overall a lovely, comfortable hotel — complete with little pool, decent restaurant, free basic breakfast, and a wine tasting room in walking distance. But you MUST drive here, because despite what the front desk says, it is NOT walkable to downtown Palisade (1.3 miles in the hot sun with no shade is not a good walk). And it’s shocking to me they don’t run a shuttle to/from downtown for people wanting to shop or dine there (or even rent a bike to ride around wine country). The breakfast is fine: sausage, bacon, eggs, cereal. The dinner restaurant is also fine: soup, salad, salmon, steak, and such. The options downtown are better (if you can get there).

Hotel was nice, arrived at noon, room wasn’t ready until 4:00 PM Breakfast was not very good, constantly running out of food and dishes. Little choice of items, definitely need to upgrade breakfast. Only one elevator, long walk from our room to the elevator and lobby

Wonderful hotel all-around. Well-maintained with friendly staff. We enjoyed the pool, a hot, fresh breakfast, and dinner at Caroline’s - all excellent.Downtown Palisade was cute. We recommend dinner at Fidel’s.

Hotel is beautiful, comfortable, clean and very well maintained. There were several areas for leisure sitting. The bar served excellent food and each guest was served a complimentary glass of wine. The included continental breakfast was extensive and delicious.

Restaurants overrated, expensive and no good quality wise. Also their wines aren’t comparable in any way to anything that comes out of California even.

Overall would have been excellent but restaurant was closed because of an event.

Fairly big hotel, reasonable sized rooms that were nicely appointed. Breakfast was very crowded with insufficient seats and the offering was poor. The two restaurants offered a reasonable choice of food.

Staff was very friendly and surroundings were peaceful. Was disappointed with the food served at the Tapestry lounge and our meal at Caroline's.

The property is very nice and comfortable. Staff is amazing. Only issue was at their fine dinning restaurant. My steak was over cooked when I sent it back the same steak was served back to me more well done. Sent it back again by the time my steak arrived medium rare my lady was finished with her meal. Not a very wine country romantic dinner watching each other eat.
