Gorgeous property in beautiful setting. Rooms ample size. Clean. Staff very attentive. Only thing that was a downfall is dogs not allowed in bar, which is unusual for a ‘dog friendly’ hotel. The Resturant, I understand due to hygiene. Food in Resturant was lovely. Breakfast also super nice. Had a massage in the spa which was really good. All in all a fabulous stay and we would love to come back. Will definitley reccomend.

Service was excellent - from the front desk, to the concierge, spa, pool bar and restaurant, everyone we interacted with was very friendly, helpful and professional. The service was flawless! My only complaint is the number of children at the main pool. There were so many (seemingly related) families with small children that descended upon the pool in the afternoon that it made it difficult to enjoy for those who wanted to relax in a quiet environment. I understand that from June 1, the other pool is open and maybe this is not a problem then. Would definitely return, notwithstanding the splashing kiddos :)

This property has beautiful grounds but is in the middle of nowhere. The hotel is pretty but good is less than mediocre. If you want to eat in town be prepared to pay 90-110 euros for a taxi for a delicious inexpensive meal in town that is much better than the hotel. The hotel has no air conditioner although they say they do. The rooms are hot and uncomfortable. The spa hot tub is cold. Stay closer to Sienna and skip this hotel. Water is not complimentary be prepare to pay 9 euros per bottle. Staff service is mediocre.

Amazing property. We stayed in the Comfort Villa and it was a dream stay in Tuscany. Very clean and they kept it tidy during our stay. Very quiet and peaceful and felt very safe. The staff was top notch. They were extremely kind and helpful with any requests, like making recommendations for places to go in Siena, booking onsite activities like riding bikes around the property, massages at the spa, etc. We really enjoyed the wine, cheese and cut meats in their wine tasting room. Dinner was amazing with a full menu and different specials each night. Had the best lasagna in my life! Bringing back some of their delicious wine, olive oil and balsamic vinegar back home. Thank you so much to the wonderful staff for making my Tuscany stay a dream come true! Hope to make it back some day!

The property is beautiful and impressive. The breakfast buffet was really good and the service was attentive and friendly. The rooms were spacious. Bed is a bit firm and the air conditioning is managed at the front desk. We tried to get ours to go lower than 22 c as the days we were there were extremely hot, but the ac would not adjust and the front desk said that was the minimum and all rooms were set as such. They did bring us a fan which was helpful, but just an fyi if you run hot at night. Pool area is really nice. We did not play tennis but they have a couple courts on property. Overall, most staff was very friendly and helpful. Food was delicious and they make a great Old Fashion

Borgo Scopeto is a beautiful resort with amazing amenities. The pool was fantastic, and the food at the restaurant on site is phenomenal. My only complaint is the exorbitant cost of everything at the property. We also had no hot water during our stay, and had hoped we would be offered some compensation, but were not. I would recommend this property with the expectation to spend more than it seems

Nice countryside setting. Friendly, helpful staff. However, for a very expensive 5-star hotel to not be able to turn on air conditioning in an unexpectedly hotter spring week was outrageous to us. That’s not a 5-star experience. The room was 80 degrees! They explained that they don’t turn it on during that time of year. The high end property we stayed at in Florence did. These owners are simply cheap. It ruined our experience there. Oh…they gave us a fan.

I was disappointed with this hotel. Initially seems a hotel where you can sleep peaceful. I found two major inconvenients. 1) This hotel is in the middle of nowhere. My room was large. It had two floors and two rooms in the upper floor. The doors (front door and room doors) has no interior locks!! Or at least I never found it. Been in the middle of nowhere and some rooms having independent entrance (from the main hotel entrance) this was for me a security issue. 2. No air conditioner!!!! I went during the third week of October. Temperature was oscillating between 60s and 70s and the turned off the air conditioner. The room was very warm!!!! When I called they brought two fans and told to us that we could open the windows. Considering that still is not winter and also this hotel is in the middle of rural area where there are a lot of mosquitoes and other insects forget about open the windows!! On the other hand the staff was nice. The restaurant is a good one. Restaurant staff was also very nice and accessible. But my personal opinion is that hotel is too expensive and does not filled my expectations. The most near town is Siena and is 15-20 min from there.

Gorgeous property in beautiful setting. Rooms ample size. Clean. Staff very attentive. Only thing that was a downfall is dogs not allowed in bar, which is unusual for a ‘dog friendly’ hotel. The Resturant, I understand due to hygiene. Food in Resturant was lovely. Breakfast also super nice. Had a massage in the spa which was really good. All in all a fabulous stay and we would love to come back. Will definitley reccomend.

Borgo Scopeto is a true luxury relais. The rooms are beautifully decorated, everything is geared towards relaxation and creature comfort. I have no qualms with its five star rating. It is truly a beautiful property and a wonderful experience.

This property has beautiful grounds but is in the middle of nowhere. The hotel is pretty but good is less than mediocre. If you want to eat in town be prepared to pay 90-110 euros for a taxi for a delicious inexpensive meal in town that is much better than the hotel. The hotel has no air conditioner although they say they do. The rooms are hot and uncomfortable. The spa hot tub is cold. Stay closer to Sienna and skip this hotel. Water is not complimentary be prepare to pay 9 euros per bottle. Staff service is mediocre.

Amazing property. We stayed in the Comfort Villa and it was a dream stay in Tuscany. Very clean and they kept it tidy during our stay. Very quiet and peaceful and felt very safe. The staff was top notch. They were extremely kind and helpful with any requests, like making recommendations for places to go in Siena, booking onsite activities like riding bikes around the property, massages at the spa, etc. We really enjoyed the wine, cheese and cut meats in their wine tasting room. Dinner was amazing with a full menu and different specials each night. Had the best lasagna in my life! Bringing back some of their delicious wine, olive oil and balsamic vinegar back home. Thank you so much to the wonderful staff for making my Tuscany stay a dream come true! Hope to make it back some day!

I was disappointed with this hotel. Initially seems a hotel where you can sleep peaceful. I found two major inconvenients. 1) This hotel is in the middle of nowhere. My room was large. It had two floors and two rooms in the upper floor. The doors (front door and room doors) has no interior locks!! Or at least I never found it. Been in the middle of nowhere and some rooms having independent entrance (from the main hotel entrance) this was for me a security issue. 2. No air conditioner!!!! I went during the third week of October. Temperature was oscillating between 60s and 70s and the turned off the air conditioner. The room was very warm!!!! When I called they brought two fans and told to us that we could open the windows. Considering that still is not winter and also this hotel is in the middle of rural area where there are a lot of mosquitoes and other insects forget about open the windows!! On the other hand the staff was nice. The restaurant is a good one. Restaurant staff was also very nice and accessible. But my personal opinion is that hotel is too expensive and does not filled my expectations. The most near town is Siena and is 15-20 min from there.

Bed is a bit firm and the air conditioning is managed at the front desk. Service was excellent - from the front desk, to the concierge, spa, pool bar and restaurant, everyone we interacted with was very friendly, helpful and professional. The service was flawless! My only complaint is the number of children at the main pool. There were so many (seemingly related) families with small children that descended upon the pool in the afternoon that it made it difficult to enjoy for those who wanted to relax in a quiet environment. I understand that from June 1, the other pool is open and maybe this is not a problem then. Would definitely return, notwithstanding the splashing kiddos :)

Borgo Scopeto is a stunning Hotel in a beautiful setting , on the hills overlooking Siena, surrounded by vineyards and olive tres. The breakfast was nice but not not exceptional , the dinner menu does not have the choice you would expect for an hotel of this category, and the food is overrated. The service could definitely improve. If you let the hotel know in advance you will be travelling with your pet, you will find in your room a dog bed, bowls for water and food and the hotel even has a dog menu with six different options for dogs. The Hotel is worth staying for few days in particular if you want to visit Siena but stay away from the crowds. The service and food need improvement.

Amazing stay. Very welcoming staff and always very nice to help. The hotel is splendid with amazing view on the countryside. Good equipments. We had a wonderful stay at Borgo Scopeto while visiting Tuscany. A near 5 star experience in an ancient fortress! The hills, the grounds, the area, are beautiful and magical and I would rate them 10 Stars. A very special thanks to the wonderful staff, especially Ilaria and Fiammetta at the front desk, who made sure that all our needs were anticipated and met! We shall be back!!

Borgo Scopeto is a beautiful resort with amazing amenities. The pool was fantastic, and the food at the restaurant on site is phenomenal. My only complaint is the exorbitant cost of everything at the property. We also had no hot water during our stay, and had hoped we would be offered some compensation, but were not. I would recommend this property with the expectation to spend more than it seems

They did bring us a fan which was helpful, but just an fyi if you run hot at night. Pool area is really nice. We did not play tennis but they have a couple courts on property. Overall, most staff was very friendly and helpful. Food was delicious and they make a great Old Fashion

We had a lovely stay for a weekend. Excellent, high quality suite, great restaurant and pleasant team. Spa was very relaxing and a great place to chill out.

Beautiful villa, relaxing with fantastic breakfast and dinner options. The staff were very accommodating. While children are allowed at the hotel, it’s really for adults only. If you want to leave the villa the staff will order a taxi for you. Round trip was 90 euros. Do bring a swim suit as the outdoor pool is heated. We had a private wine tasting one evening, in their 800 year old wine cellar. Dinner was one of the best meals we have had while traveling in Italy.
