Très bel établissement. Le bâtiment est bien restauré et en conservant le style palace de l'époque. La piscine extérieure est belle et grande. Le petit déjeuner dans la magnifique salle de restaurant est extra. Le personnel est très serviable et souriant. Le cygne est toujours là dans son bassin. Petit bémol, le golf n'existe plus, les tennis, la piscine et le spa intérieurs sont fermés. Les jardins et les abords de la piscine mériteraient un meilleur entretien. Gageons que les repreneurs soient conscients du potentiel de l'extérieur et que tout ça va être rénové au plus vite.

Liked the old world charm of this hotel. Staff were very attentive, good breakfast. However, Expedia advertises this hotel as Curia Palace Hotel, Spa and Golf. This is erroneous, the golf facility has been closed for 8 years!!! We had brought our clubs for nothing and were very disappointed. Golfers beware!

We had a lovely time, so much history. We walked the grounds and couldn’t believe how vast the property was. So many interesting things like miniature horses, mule deer, pheasants and a few chickens. Amazing!! We were a little disappointed that the pools weren’t open.

This is property was apparently a "hot spot" in the 1920's, but that era is long gone. It's a huge property with very few guests, which immediately gave me a "Bates Motel" vibe. Although the word "spa" is in the name, it has no spa services to speak of. They had a huge dining room, where you'd see possibly four couples in total. BEST part about the place was its wonderful breakfast buffet. If you're looking to explore a hotel out of yesteryear, this is the place!

Magnifique lieu même incroyable seuls bémols chambre très petite qui donne sur des fenêtres dommage quand on sait qu il y’a au moins 300 chambres et l état de la chambre n était pas digne de l hôtel . Le spa était hors service donc dommage et surtout on a l impression qu il y a pas d entretien des structures c est un peu à l abandon figé dans les années 50. Mais le lieu reste quand même incroyable

We had a great stay at the Palace! The room was enormous. However, there needs to be some updates. The physical key and print out paper receipts are a bit much, but didn’t matter too much. It was very clean and would stay again

Ya he evaluado el hotel unas 10 veces, las que me he hospedado y no una noche, siempre minimo 5 dias... Si no , no me da tiempo ni de desconectar ni de realizar una inmersion en la zona.... La noche que llego... Ya percibo el olor nada mas abrir la puerta del coche... Me emociona, me siento feliz!! Doy largos paseos muy temprano... antes del desayuno que ademas es estupendo... Los alrededores, los pueblos y ciudades historicas que estan a 1 hora... La copita en el bar, la lectura en el gran salon... La amabilidad con que te tratan... No llevo comisión, pero casi todos mis amigos y familia cercana ya han caido en dus encantos!!! Solo deseo que se mantenga tal cual y que los nuevos clientes perciban el mismi bienestar que yo

C'est un bel hôtel qui a su conservé un beau décor, comme les vitraux du hall d'entrée, l'ancienne "cage- /ascenseur" d'autrefois. Nous avons tout aimé. L'accueil, la gentillesse du personnel durant notre séjour (notre regret, c'est d'y avoir passé une seule nuit). Nous avons trouvé ce que nous cherchions, une ambiance vintage et de la musique d'époque (année 30) durant le souper style buffet. Nous y sommes allés à 20 hres alors tout était chaud avec un bon choix de plats. Le petit déjeuner était également bon et varié. Une belle chambre rénovée avec des photos de l'hôtel à ses débuts. Une bonne literie et tout était propre. Bien entendu, il y a des endroits qui ont besoin d'entretien comme les jardins, la piscine ... mais l'hôtel est très charmant. Stationnement gratuit sur place. Nous recommandons sans hésiter si vous passer voir la belle région de Buçaco.
