De accommodatie was goed! Alleen vanwege wegwerkzaamheden met alleen maar 1 richtingsverkeer, konden we bijna geen parkeerplaats vinden. We kregen een kop staart botsing, wat 2 dagen van onze vakantie verpeste. De andere 2 dagen waren goed!

Very friendly and helpful staff. They really like their guests. The facilities were in excellent condition. The hotel is close to the town center with lots of sights, shops and restaurants. The location has good access to public transport. Parking can be a bit tricky but there is a free parking spot at walking distance nearby.

My sister and I stayed here 6 nights. We were a bit reluctant about what the rooms or service might be due to the reasonable price for our stay. WOW, we were jumping for joy. Friendly reception, fast elevator, super clean rooms and wow what a view! Waking up to that river view while enjoying coffee and tea each morning was heavenly for us. We’d been in Europe for 2 weeks prior and were exhausted from all our adventures. This sweet Gunther hotel was our savior in learning to just relax and take a big breath. Quiet little town. With the boats a few yards away to carry us up or down river, a bike rental around the corner, the hotel next door has an outdoor area where we enjoyed cocktails and a great little market just two blocks up to the Main Street. We had everything we needed. Breakfast was good, (but I missed having bacon), but we enjoyed starting each day fully nourished. I do want to visit again. This place felt like home away from home. Just for reference, the train station you want is not the first one that says “Boppard”. Get off at HBF Boppard I believe.

Overall, a great experience. The staff were all wonderful, and helped/suffered an English-heavy traveller like me. Boppard is a nice small town with welcoming people and some great restaurants. The breakfast at garni Günther was a decent buffet spread. Same thing every morning, but the amount of options available was commendable. The only issue I encountered was no hot water in the shower for a couple days, but they fixed ASAP as soon as they knew about it. A short commute by regional rail or bus to Koblenz, which is wild during Karneval, but has great shopping and restaurants for tourists. The view at garni Günther from the second floor balcony down the Rhein was spectacular. Room was spacious, (by Europe standards) bathroom was not (but that is Europe hotels in general). Cleaned and straightened every day. Tons of shelf/cupboard space. Really appreciated the kind service with the hotel staff. Would recommend for tourists, solo travelers and couples/families for getaways or low-key holiday.

Wir sind schon mehrfach in diesem kleinen, familienbetriebenen Hotel gewesen, immer mit Balkon zur Rheinseite. Man hat hier einen tollen Blick auf den Rhein und das Treiben auf der Rheinpromenade. Alle Mitarbeiter und Mitarbeiterinnen sind supernett und immer hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer ( es gibt unterschiedliche Größen, auch bzgl. der Bäder ) sind einfach ausgestattet, aber gemütlich und vor allem sauber. Das Frühstück kostet 13€/pP und ist gut. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

I would not go again. The room was old and worn. Bathroom did get cold water only by dripping. The bathroom smelled horrible, for sure due to a mold problem. The restaurant toilet in the hallway was only partially working: Men’s restroom was out of use. Hand washing tub was out of water, so you could not wash your hands. Maybe the view would compensate for something if you get a room with a river view, otherwise stay away.

Der einstige platz ist vor das waschbecken.Dusche mit gardiene die beim duschen am korper klebt.Möbeln alt

This was an awesome hotel to stay at. It is right on the river across from where the KD river boats dock. The rooms have a great balcony overlooking the river. The breakfast is excellent and the staff is very friendly. Several of them speak excellent English. This is a very typical German style hotel. The rooms were nice. If you want to stay in a convenient town on the Rhine River than this hotel in Boppard is a great choice. I would definitely stay here again. The town and the hotel are excellent.

The location is the best! View over the Rhine river is amazing. Try for a room with a balcony towards the front. But the view has a price. The ships and trains are a bit loud, but that is acceptable for THAT view. What is disturbing is the noise from the street directly in front of the hotel. The city sends the trucks to collect trash out VERY early ... like 5 a.m. And other delivery trucks bringing things so early. The beds were comfortable! We slept great until early morning with the street noise. Breakfast was tasty! A great start for the day. A tip for the room... it would be nice to be able to darken the windows with a darkening blind. The curtains are light and look nice. But the sun shines early during the summer and it is also difficult to sleep once it gets light... along with the street noise.

I stayed for 4 nights in April in one of the rooms with a balcony overlooking the Rhein. The room was basic but large and comfortable with an ensuite bathroom including a bath. But the reason for choosing this room was the view and it certainly didn't disappoint - fantastic. Obviously well situated on the front the hotel also offered breakfast which again came with a view and was typically German. Staff were attentive and helpful. Only slight problem was the temperamental WiFi but that's not really an issue. Overall excellent and would definitely stay again and recommend.

Very good central location in Boppard at the river from near the central square and KD boat landing. There are two kinds of rooms with a balcony and a river view, I recommend getting the larger one, if available — it is worth the price difference. (Although the smaller ones are quite fine, too). The breakfast is ok - same as in other similar hotels, maybe a little less selection. Friendly and helpful staff (Don’t forget to make special arrangements if arriving after 9pm)

A great hotel to explore Boppard and the surrounding areas and towns. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful, and the location very convenient, as well as lovely, on the Rhine. My only warning would be, if you are a light/complex sleeper, the pillows and beds are uncomfortable and small. Typical of a small hotel like this one, but it is something to keep in mind. Other than that, it was good.

Freundliches Personal . Leider ist dass Hotel teilweise etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Das Zimmer entsprach nicht der gebuchten Kategorie, dass Badezimmer war extrem klein. Es sind extra Kosten aufgetreten ( Frühstück) das bei der Buchung nicht ersichtlich war. Laut Inhaber wäre eine Buchung direkt übers Hotel Günstiger gewesen, aber bei Telefonischer anfrage im Hotel sowie auf der Hotel eigenen Webseite waren Buchungen erst ab 4 Übernachtungen möglich auserdem zu diesem Zeitpunkt auch nicht verfügbar.

Nice hotel right on the Rhine waterfront. Rooms are compact but comfortable. Staff are very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is an extra but would highly recommend, a great spread served with a friendly smile. Owner Scott was wonderful and couldn't have been more helpful when one of our party took a tumble on the street and needed a trip to emergency. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

Overall, a great experience. The staff were all wonderful, and helped/suffered an English-heavy traveller like me. Boppard is a nice small town with welcoming people and some great restaurants. The breakfast at garni Günther was a decent buffet spread. Same thing every morning, but the amount of options available was commendable. The only issue I encountered was no hot water in the shower for a couple days, but they fixed ASAP as soon as they knew about it. A short commute by regional rail or bus to Koblenz, which is wild during Karneval, but has great shopping and restaurants for tourists. The view at garni Günther from the second floor balcony down the Rhein was spectacular. Room was spacious, (by Europe standards) bathroom was not (but that is Europe hotels in general). Cleaned and straightened every day. Tons of shelf/cupboard space. Really appreciated the kind service with the hotel staff. Would recommend for tourists, solo travelers and couples/families for getaways or low-key holiday.

The rooms was all perfect. Good information abort the town and possibels. Breakfast was good and very good service for Breakfast. To check in was a littel bit troublesome - maybe because of we have booked the rooms by a bureau and not directly - we feel not the owner so friendly as possibel,

This hotel is right on the waterfront and the balcony overlooks the Rhine. It is a perfect location. The hotel is family owned and operated and the family member behind the front counter was very helpful and professional. She went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. We recommend this hotel.

Very friendly and helpful staff. They really like their guests. The facilities were in excellent condition. The hotel is close to the town center with lots of sights, shops and restaurants. The location has good access to public transport. Parking can be a bit tricky but there is a free parking spot at walking distance nearby.

This was an awesome hotel to stay at. It is right on the river across from where the KD river boats dock. The rooms have a great balcony overlooking the river. The breakfast is excellent and the staff is very friendly. Several of them speak excellent English. This is a very typical German style hotel. The rooms were nice. If you want to stay in a convenient town on the Rhine River than this hotel in Boppard is a great choice. I would definitely stay here again. The town and the hotel are excellent.

My sister and I stayed here 6 nights. We were a bit reluctant about what the rooms or service might be due to the reasonable price for our stay. WOW, we were jumping for joy. Friendly reception, fast elevator, super clean rooms and wow what a view! Waking up to that river view while enjoying coffee and tea each morning was heavenly for us. We’d been in Europe for 2 weeks prior and were exhausted from all our adventures. This sweet Gunther hotel was our savior in learning to just relax and take a big breath. Quiet little town. With the boats a few yards away to carry us up or down river, a bike rental around the corner, the hotel next door has an outdoor area where we enjoyed cocktails and a great little market just two blocks up to the Main Street. We had everything we needed. Breakfast was good, (but I missed having bacon), but we enjoyed starting each day fully nourished. I do want to visit again. This place felt like home away from home. Just for reference, the train station you want is not the first one that says “Boppard”. Get off at HBF Boppard I believe.

Nice hotel right on the Rhine waterfront. Rooms are compact but comfortable. Staff are very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is an extra but would highly recommend, a great spread served with a friendly smile. Owner Scott was wonderful and couldn't have been more helpful when one of our party took a tumble on the street and needed a trip to emergency. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

Very good central location in Boppard at the river from near the central square and KD boat landing. There are two kinds of rooms with a balcony and a river view, I recommend getting the larger one, if available — it is worth the price difference. (Although the smaller ones are quite fine, too). The breakfast is ok - same as in other similar hotels, maybe a little less selection. Friendly and helpful staff (Don’t forget to make special arrangements if arriving after 9pm)

This was an awesome hotel to stay at. It is right on the river across from where the KD river boats dock. The rooms have a great balcony overlooking the river. The breakfast is excellent and the staff is very friendly. Several of them speak excellent English. This is a very typical German style hotel. The rooms were nice. If you want to stay in a convenient town on the Rhine River than this hotel in Boppard is a great choice. I would definitely stay here again. The town and the hotel are excellent.

Wir sind schon mehrfach in diesem kleinen, familienbetriebenen Hotel gewesen, immer mit Balkon zur Rheinseite. Man hat hier einen tollen Blick auf den Rhein und das Treiben auf der Rheinpromenade. Alle Mitarbeiter und Mitarbeiterinnen sind supernett und immer hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer ( es gibt unterschiedliche Größen, auch bzgl. der Bäder ) sind einfach ausgestattet, aber gemütlich und vor allem sauber. Das Frühstück kostet 13€/pP und ist gut. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
