There are not enough elevators for the amount of guests that stay there. The wait for the elevator is anywhere between 15 minutes to an hour (not over exaggerating). At one point I was tired of waiting and walked up 17 flights of stairs (42 year old woman). We were going to a baseball tournament that week and had to add an extra 30 - 45 minutes to our time to leave earlier than we needed to because we didn’t want my nephew to be late. Also, only having one functioning elevator for the garage is absurd. A common theme we heard from other guests is that they would never be back because a lot of their time was wasted in waiting for elevators. One night the fire alarm went off on the second floor and we were on the 17th. My mom called and asked if the fire alarm was going off up there. I told her we didn’t hear anything. Also, if there was a fire all 30 floors would not be able to evacuate quick enough.

We really enjoyed our stay. We had issues of almost getting stuck in an elevator and there is a lot of construction going on right now. Those were the only downfalls. It was really nice to be able to walk down to the beach and have free chairs & umbrella. $50 for parking was a little much but I would stay there again. Really nice place overall.

The resort was Awesome lots of room loved the Balcony facing the ocean. The pools and hot tubs were clean and Cool. Everyone was very helpful and nice. If I must leave a complaint it would be the slow elevators.

Great location! Love availability of chairs and umbrellas. The staff at the beach very helpful. Our room was nice but there was an extremely bright light outside the bedroom. They need room darkening curtains. So bright. We ask for 2 blankets, a remote for TV and only had 1 garbage bags it took them 3 days to deliver after multiple requests. Front desk staff not helpful. Wish the pool was heated. Hardly anyone in the beautiful pools because they were so cold!! Hot tubs were nice.

Property waa conveniently located to nearby attractions. Staff was excellent and behind helpful and cordial. The elevators need updating as wait times can be long and one was out of service fir repair. Some features are a little dated , depending on the unit. Nevertheless the unit sizes are very nice and comfortable. Definitely rebooking for next year.

Our family of 6 enjoyed the proximity to the beach and entertainment (Pier Park is a 15-minute walk). The fee for 5 nights was moderate; however, there are things I wish I would’ve known before booking: 1. Lack of adequate number of elevators- problematic from arrival and unloading, grocery delivery, midday trips to the room, and evenings out. The elevators were ALWAYS full; 2. Walkability- no consistent sidewalks in the area- definitely did not want to get car out of parking garage to go 1/2 mile; 3. Lack of on-site/ close dining; 4. I almost missed the additional property fee- nominal- and registration process that was buried in the booking (downloaded Vacasa and within the app and information there was a link with additional form to complete with payment required); 5. Check in is 4-6 pm (yes, a 2-hour window with the elevator issue really was interesting) and checkout is 10am with no early check in/ luggage drop/ changing room to go to the beach option. While these times are standard, it still felt like we “lost” out on 6 hours of vacation time. Would we book here again? Maybe. The price was affordable and the general location desirable, but we’d definitely see about booking a lower floor or adjust expectations on the time we would spend waiting.

The view was beautiful, the condo itself was nice. The restaurant and the staff there were good! But the staff at the desk are rude and not helpful. There was a fire alarm and no staff knew what was going on or the proper procedures to evacuate the building. There are only 3 working elevators for the whole 30 floor building, which is not sufficient for the amount of people vacationing! The wait for an elevator could be 15-30 minutes.

Room and view was great they need to get the elevators working looking at reviews that's been a problem for a very long time took us over an hour to check out because of lack of elevators working so sad because it is a nice resort but elevators are a big issue here many times waiting for a very long to get one.

Our condo itself, we had no real issues with. The elevators and the wait for one at this resort is AWFUL!!! We will not stay here again based on elevators. Some staff is friendly, others are rude/condescending. We did like all the ammenity options. Didn't try out everything, but it was nice to have a range of choices. There is beach service directly in front of the resort but beware, you cannot put up your own canopy, umbrella, or chairs behind the rows of beach service chairs. You have to walk all the way to the end of the beach service chairs to set up your own. Resort was relatively clean. We and a bunch of other people got caught in a big summer FL storm and there were resort employees mopping up water where everyone was dripping trying to get out of the rain. Made the wait for an elevator worse than normal though. We had to climb 13 flights of stairs with children and all our stuff unless we wanted to wait thirty plus minutes for an elevator ride. Parking deck seemed slightly cramped going around turns. It also said no golf carts allowed in parking decks, and we noticed several. So obviously not all rules are enforced. And the cannabis smell. Obviously the no smoking rule is ignored too. Overall, we had a fun week. But I don't see us running to stay here again

Room 1404 , dryer didn’t work. Broken tiles in the kitchen covered up with dirty rugs. Casper was filthy. Over an hour wait for an elevator each time. Very inconvenient , for the price people pay to go on vacation these things need to be updated or it needs to be let known from the beginning. Beautiful views from the balcony , pools were nice , beaches were beautiful staff wasn’t very friendly in the front nor helpful. No tissue for bathrooms. No detergent for dishwasher .

The room was sufficient enough for our family of 7 with 3 little ones with a spectacular view. However, it was outdated, drawers were broken, the internet was extremely slow, poor cellular connection, batteries were removed on smoke detector (hazard), the bathrooms smelled of mildew despite calling housekeeping, and the place wasn’t as clean as I wanted.

It wasn't like other condos that I have stayed at before. It wasn't as clean as I would of expected. There were many flaws with the condo, such as TV's not working, remotes missing, dishwasher backflow into the garbage disposal, hair from former guest in the bathroom, and the floors were covered with sand. To top it off, I never got my confirmation email from Vacasa, so the check in was really rough. They did after the fact try to email it to me 3 times, but it never arrived, till my last day. I will not stay at Tidewater ever again. There are a lot of other condos, at the same price with better customer service and cleanliness. The only thing that saved us was we were at PCB. It is a shame, we work all year for this one week, and its costly. Not just the condo, but dinners and entertainment. I couldn't wait to leave the condo. I did tell Vacasa employees of the issues, but I guess they were all so busy. Oh, I forgot to mention a Vacasa employee with no curtesy needing to change out fire detectors. Didn't ask if this was a bad time. We had no warning. They just barged in and said they had to do it right now. They could've done it the day we checked out. And they left a mess to boot.

The apartment was clean and well equipped. The only complaint is that there were no beach towels, and the lights in the living room and porch didn’t work. We only had the kitchen florescent light. Otherwise it was an enjoyable stay.

The furniture is falling apart and has not been cleaned and probably a decade. The indoor pool had so much dirt on the floor the drains were clogged. Some of our dishes in our unit had rotted food on it. Horrible amount of construction happening, per usual.

Family enjoyed the property being on the beach. I will say, the staff were extremely friendly. Did not enjoy the smell of the ground floor, constantly smelled like throw up. The elevators took an extremely long time to arrive, regardless of what floor you were on. The condo itslef was less than what I had expected. The bunk beds were stable but the mattresses were super thin and uncomfortable. We really could have used a broom in the condo to help with the sand. The bathtub did not drain right away. The last thing I want to be doing is standing in dirty water while I'm trying to shower. Only 1 roll of toilet paper and paper towels. Trash bags did not fit in the trashcan in the kitchen. Washer and dryer were a surprise and a let down at the samw time. Nice being able to launder throughout the week but the dryer was awful. It took nearly 3 hours for a tiny load to comete drying. I enjoyed Panama but dont think id return to this particular resort.

The property was very dated. The mattress on the bed was absolutely wore out. The couches in the living area were in need of been replaced and head covers on them. Everywhere you looked, there was signs of wear and you could see where the walls had them touched up instead of being painted. All in all, the condo was in need of a major renovation. The owner should take more responsibility for the condition of the condo.
The property was very dated. The mattress on the bed was absolutely wore out. The couches in the living area were in need of been replaced and head covers on them. Everywhere you looked, there was signs of wear and you could see where the walls had them touched up instead of being painted. All in all, the condo was in need of a major renovation. Property waa conveniently located to nearby attractions. Staff was excellent and behind helpful and cordial. The elevators need updating as wait times can be long and one was out of service fir repair. Some features are a little dated , depending on the unit. Nevertheless the unit sizes are very nice and comfortable. Definitely rebooking for next year.

The view was beautiful, the condo itself was nice. The restaurant and the staff there were good! But the staff at the desk are rude and not helpful. There was a fire alarm and no staff knew what was going on or the proper procedures to evacuate the building. There are only 3 working elevators for the whole 30 floor building, which is not sufficient for the amount of people vacationing! The wait for an elevator could be 15-30 minutes.

I like most things about this property. However , I did not like being told by vacasa multiple times that I was pre-registered and all set to go only to find out once I got to the property that I needed to register for parking. I also did not like arriving to my family's room to find the code did not work to the room. After a very long two days of traveling, being locked out for an extra hour 30 minutes and trying to contain three little kids made the landing more stressful.

Great location! Love availability of chairs and umbrellas. The staff at the beach very helpful. Our room was nice but there was an extremely bright light outside the bedroom. They need room darkening curtains. So bright. We ask for 2 blankets, a remote for TV and only had 1 garbage bags it took them 3 days to deliver after multiple requests. Front desk staff not helpful. Wish the pool was heated. Hardly anyone in the beautiful pools because they were so cold!! Hot tubs were nice.

We had a few minor issues, Vacasa responded immediately to assist us. The only feedback was lack of extra bedding like a blanket in the bed or an extra blanket. The staff at the Tidewater are absolutely fantastic. We had an issue upon arrival and they were very helpful and friendly. I wish I could say the same about the people I booked through but I can’t. The room was very comfortable and beautiful. We had fantastic weather and great food at all the local restaurants. We love the Tidewater Beach Resort and will definitely come back again. Thanks!!!!

Did not like the fact that I was chewed out by housekeeping for checking my code for the room early. I was instructed by check in desk to go up and see if my code worked yet, when i did the rudest good for nothing housekeeper yelled and chewed me out infront of my guest. She said no one would of told us that. Went back to check in desk and advised her of her mistake. Then i was supposed to of been notified when my room was ready but they said they had been trying to call me for 3 hours to tell me it was ready, figured out real quick they had been dialing the wrong number even tho they had reached out to me just hours earlier to collect parking fees. DO NOT EVER MAKE YOUR RESERVATION HERE!! IT IS THE WORST NIGHTMARE EVER!! My reservations was made and paid in advance with a confirmation number, I drove 7 hours from Tennessee with my family looking forward to their last beach vacation based on age. I was turned away after 2 hours attempting to find my reservation, no manager could be reached, I finally found a last minute place away from the beach with no view! At 11:50 pm, I get a call that my reservation is found and if I check in before 12:00pm, I will not loose my reservation! This is not a reasonable time, 10 minutes!! I can't even drive there in that time frame! I did not get a refund because the Management would not answer the calls or request. I am not able to get a refund and for a senior family, this is devasting. No one cared that our entire trip was over based on this place lack of professionalism. With my confirmation, they could have seen our place was reserved and paid for and offered another condo or even room, but they did not. I would never recommend this place, it is terrible and will ruin your dreams of the forever trip! Instead it is the worst trip forever!

Family enjoyed the property being on the beach. I will say, the staff were extremely friendly. Did not enjoy the smell of the ground floor, constantly smelled like throw up. The elevators took an extremely long time to arrive, regardless of what floor you were on. The condo itslef was less than what I had expected. The bunk beds were stable but the mattresses were super thin and uncomfortable. We really could have used a broom in the condo to help with the sand. The bathtub did not drain right away. The last thing I want to be doing is standing in dirty water while I'm trying to shower. Only 1 roll of toilet paper and paper towels. Trash bags did not fit in the trashcan in the kitchen. Washer and dryer were a surprise and a let down at the samw time. Nice being able to launder throughout the week but the dryer was awful. It took nearly 3 hours for a tiny load to comete drying. I enjoyed Panama but dont think id return to this particular resort.

We really enjoyed our stay. We had issues of almost getting stuck in an elevator and there is a lot of construction going on right now. Those were the only downfalls. It was really nice to be able to walk down to the beach and have free chairs & umbrella. $50 for parking was a little much but I would stay there again. Really nice place overall.

Our family of 6 enjoyed the proximity to the beach and entertainment (Pier Park is a 15-minute walk). The fee for 5 nights was moderate; however, there are things I wish I would’ve known before booking: 1. Lack of adequate number of elevators- problematic from arrival and unloading, grocery delivery, midday trips to the room, and evenings out. The elevators were ALWAYS full; 2. Walkability- no consistent sidewalks in the area- definitely did not want to get car out of parking garage to go 1/2 mile; 3. Lack of on-site/ close dining; 4. I almost missed the additional property fee- nominal- and registration process that was buried in the booking (downloaded Vacasa and within the app and information there was a link with additional form to complete with payment required); 5. Check in is 4-6 pm (yes, a 2-hour window with the elevator issue really was interesting) and checkout is 10am with no early check in/ luggage drop/ changing room to go to the beach option. While these times are standard, it still felt like we “lost” out on 6 hours of vacation time. Would we book here again? Maybe.
