Excellent check-in. Motel is completing refurbishment. Room 212 was a tiresome walk for two seniors, no elevator. Room and furnishings we new and clean. Ample USB ports, 1 found at each lamp. Bath, very nice and upgraded with all new fixtures, separate from sleeping area. Breakfast was adequate, sausage with biscuits and gravy, toaster waffles, cereals, coffee, tea and juices. Suggestion: Provide a comfortable chair for lounging.

We are here with a team fishing and the great part was there were outlets available for us to plug our boats in to charge the batteries up. Rooms were nice, 1 bed was soft and the other was like the floor. But it was quiet and clean.

Great place and was newly renovated. There was some confusion as to if the pool was open or not some days due to cleaning but people would still use it. The outside of my room in the breeze way smelled like cat urin at times and was strong. The morning breakfast was good though and the staff was all very nice.

Staff was excellent, took only a few minutes to check in(great conversation by way). Vehicle noise from highway was constant all night, squeaky bed with a loud refrigerator make it extremely difficult to sleep. Other than the cob webs around the top of the ceiling, room was very contemporary and clean.

The rooms were recently renovated which is great BUT the towels were ALL dirty and stained. Would definitely recommend bringing your own towels from home or buy the disposable ones!!! My friend and his daughter also stated they saw a roach in their refrigerator.

For a Ramada, it wasn’t terrible for a quick one night stay. However…when I checked in I stood inside for over 10 minutes with no rep in sight and no phone answered before someone walked in the front door to help. The a/c and fridge worked so that was a plus. Beds aren’t the most comfortable and pillow cases were filthy, luckily we always bring our own pillows and blankets. The room was clean for the most part but the bathroom was ick. We saw a few German roaches on the nights stand in the middle of the night so naturally it weirded me out. The fire alarm went off three different times at random in the middle of the night and woke everyone, including the baby, so there was very little sleep. I did let the front desk girl know in the am and she said that she would have it fixed. Breakfast was decent and the employees were all kind. The location is on the good side of town and very close to the town square and walking river path.

Updated, good-sized room. Friendly staff. Pool looked nice even though we didn’t have time to enjoy it. Parking near door to room. Pillows were small and square shaped. Thin comforter. So, the front desk person was friendly and the room was pretty clean for positives. Negatives: bed cover had stains, pillows were tiny, not normal size. Shower head was very loose and very little water pressure because the majority of the water was still coming through tub spigot. Overall, it was an ok room. Hotel isn't near anything, so that was inconvenient. The one thing that made this experience bad was that each morning at 8am, the cleaning staff would be yelling back and forth, laughing and talking all morning and it woke us up both days. We got in late both nights and wanted to sleep but they were talking right at our door since it was near the office and yelling back and forth. Just not a good experience...especially for $125/ night.

I felt like the person at the reception absolutely did not appreciate that i arrived late. First, i had to wait a long time before someone came to the door. Then, when i asked some questions about a clearly incorrectly printed check-out time on the sign-in document that she had asked me to sign, she seemed aggravated. About the place itself: i find it very bare bones, though clean. The room cleaners where a bit too aggressive in the morning, though - yes, i didn't have a "do not disturb" - sign out but i also didn't expect the cleaners to show up at 8:30am. They knocked on the door and then immediately, before i even had a chance to respond, they tried to get into the room. Stressful.

I was actually shocked once I arrived. Usually hotels that have an amazing rate like this are ran down but I took a chance and it paid off. Once I arrive the property of the hotel was very clean, very good customer service. The room was very clean and updated. The location was quiet and I felt safe. Across the highway is a lovely park on the river. I would definitely return here when I’m in the area!

Everything about this hotel was wonderful. From check in to check out ! The river/park is nearby as well as historic downtown which has shopping and dining options.
