Nous avons passé 5 jours au Wyndham Grand Costa del Sol à Mijas. Ce n’est pas un hôtel classique, mais plutôt une résidence hôtelière. L’arrivée de nuit a été un peu compliquée : difficile de trouver la réception, et le plan donné pour accéder à notre bâtiment n’est pas très clair. Heureusement, l’accueil était agréable. L’appartement était une belle surprise : rénové, spacieux, très propre, avec deux chambres, deux salles de bain, trois toilettes, une cuisine bien équipée et une vue magnifique sur la mer. La literie est confortable, et la petite piscine privative sur la terrasse est un vrai plus. Deux grandes piscines sont également accessibles dans la résidence. Quelques points à améliorer : pas d’eau, pas de thé/café de bienvenue, aucun room service, ni ménage ni changement de serviettes pendant le séjour. Cela peut surprendre, surtout en arrivant tard le soir. Nous avons pris nos petits-déjeuners au Safari Restaurant sur place : très bon rapport qualité-prix, service agréable et produits de qualité. En résumé, un très bon séjour dans un cadre superbe, à condition d’être autonome. Idéal pour les familles. Nous y retournerons sûrement.

Very large resort. A little loud at night and in the corridors. Restaurants close early 9:30pm. Easy access to beach, but no unbrellas or chairs. Very crowded at the pool, chairs often all taken. Staff was very nice. Food and drinks at main pool area was great.

Excellent report complex. Well maintained and room facilities were great. Very clean room , resort is kept tidy. Plenty of free parking. Gym is air conditioned and had sufficient but old equipment. Pool area kept safe with lifeguards and was also kept clean & tidy.

Sehr nettes Personal, Zimmerkategorie wie ausgewählt mit tollem Meerblick vom Balkon und kompletter Küche plus Waschmaschine. Zimmer, Bad und Wäsche waren sauber. Unterhaltungsprogramm an jedem Abend und viele auswählbare Unterhaltungen. Die Poolareale sind sauber und überwacht. Man kann bequem Tagesausflüge in andere Regionen, z.B. Gibraltar, Tangier und Wanderausflüge wie den Camenito del Rey an der Rezeption buchen und wird direkt im Resort abgeholt. Das Resort ist etwas abseits von Einkaufsmöglichkeiten außerhalb aber bietet einen buchbaren Transportservice und viele Taxis direkt an der Hauptrezeption und beim Servicecenter. Es gibt auch ein kostenloses Zugtaxi innerhalb des Resorts. Am Abend kann man viele Wildschweine im Resort beobachten. Man hat Zugang zu kleinen Strandbuchten vor dem Resort die fast privat wirken, allerdings hat man dafür über einem den Lärm der Hauptstraße im Rücken. Alles in Allem ist es ein schönes Resort zum Entspannen und Genießen.

Had a fantastic week staying in Santa Barbara Heights area of Wyndham Grand Costa Del Sol. The apartment was luxury and well equipped. Beds were amazingly comfortable and we loved our little balcony pool!! We ate out at 3 of the on-site restaurants, Safari was our favourite! There were daily happy hours at different times across the restaurants, 2 for 1 on local drinks and a different cocktail of the day! Lots of different acts at each restaurant too and each night finished off with dancing and singing with the late night performance in The Grand Lounge, great fun!! It is a big site and quite hilly, but there is an on-site road train that runs till late to help move you around. Highly recommended, we will return

We had a great stay! We were impressed with the size of our One Bedroom with Full Kitchen. The unit had a good sized terrace / balcony and had a sea view. We enjoyed the convenience of the market/store on the property. We really enjoyed going for dinner at the Safari Restaurant. Danny & David and all the staff made our evening fun. The menu is a mix of Spanish, Mediterranean & European. Excellent food & drinks and top shelf service. The front desk staff & customer service were very friendly & helpful. Thanks for a great vacation! We would definitely stay again.

Room was spacious, hot tub was great but could have been a bit warmer. Kids liked the mini club. Adult entertainment could be improved, felt a bit of an afterthought. Restaurants are on the expensive side but food delivery is widely available. Pool was good, no issues getting sunbeds. Heated pool a plus.

The hot tub isn’t private at all, it’s private use but can be seen from every angle. There were ants in the bathtub. We’ve both been bitten by bed bugs. Expected a lot more for this hotel and was told it’s quiet period so a lot less busier, which made me think they could’ve spread guests out more across the HUGE complex

We stayed at this property the year before and could not rate it high enough, this year we upgraded our room and this was a big mistake. The room was smaller but it was so run down. The drinking glasses were chipped. The balcony was cover in bird droppings, walls were covered in dirt. The place was absolutely disgusting, I have never stayed in such filth. The alarm was broken on arrival it needed a new battery and we are still waiting for security to come back and fix this on our departure. We tried to move rooms but unfortunately the hotel was fully booked. Please avoid this hotel at all costs. Pool area and gardens all still well maintained it was only our accommodation that was way below the standard you would expect from Wyndham.

Check out um 10 ist Flugplanmäßig in Malaga viel zu früh. Late Check out kostet 30€ und ist dann auch schon um 12. Die Sauberkeit ist nicht gut. Es wird nur einmal die Woche geputzt und danach waren jedes Mal viele Haare auf dem Boden.

This is not 5 stars as advertised. Room smells badly. We stayed for 5 days and no cleaning or towel change. You cannot book late checkout in advance as advertised. Property old and was dirty with hair when we arrived. There was a gathering of insects by the kitchen sink. Food options same across restaurants and not good quality. There is nothing near by to walk to outside the resort. Beach is very small and rocky and steep so not good for kids. Would never stay here again! They don’t send invoice for stay except on Fridays!!

Lækkert og velholdt hotel med hyggelige fællesområder og tæt på strand. Vi havde en meget rummelig lejlighed med 3 soveværelser og 3 toiletter/bad, hvilket er vildt rart til større familier, endda også over forventning. Hyggelig terrasse med delvis sol det meste af dagen. Hotellets pool lå også i som fra morgen til aften, så perfekt for bade- og solbadeglade personer!! Super lækkert hotel som vi bestemt vil overveje en anden gang.

The condo was fabulous, comfortable beds, beautiful terrace, beautifully decorated, and somewhat well equipped kitchen (no spatula, nor thongs), no free coffee pods, sugar, creamer, provided with room, therefore planning ahead. Would also be useful if hotel could provide a small pool net for each of personnal plunge pool. We were at the condo for 6 nights and our plunge pool was quite dirty (bugs, palm tree flower petals). Given no cleaning service of our plunge pool was offered during our stay, having a small pool cleaning net would have been useful.

We had a great stay! We were impressed with the size of our One Bedroom with Full Kitchen. The unit had a good sized terrace / balcony and had a sea view. We enjoyed the convenience of the market/store on the property. We really enjoyed going for dinner at the Safari Restaurant. Danny & David and all the staff made our evening fun. The menu is a mix of Spanish, Mediterranean & European. Excellent food & drinks and top shelf service. The front desk staff & customer service were very friendly & helpful. Thanks for a great vacation! We would definitely stay again.

Wir hatten dort für die letzten 3 Tage unserer Rundreise durch Andalusien ein Premium-Zimmer. An der Rezeption geht alles ziemlich schnell, aber man hat Gefühl dort nur eine Nummer zu sein. Man merkt sehr schnell, dass dort hunderte Menschen täglich oder wöchentlich einchecken. Die Kommunikation ist abgekühlt und nicht herzlich. Wir hatten ein Premium-Zimmer mit Whirlpool auf der Terrasse gebucht. Das Apartment ist wirklich groß und geräumig. Drr gesamte Stil ist schon etwas überholt und renovierungsbedürftig. Der Whirlpool (Hot Tub) war alles andere als heiß. Dieses Problem wurde nach zweimaliger Anforderung eines Technikers behoben, war dann aber so heiß, dass wir diesen auch nicht nutzen konnten. Die Zimmer werden nur gegen Aufpreis gereinigt oder nach einem Aufenthalt von mindestens 5 Nächten. Das Zimmer war sauber, nur im Bad gab es kleine Ameisen. Was gar nicht ging, waren unser Nachbarn. Laute Musik den ganzen Tag im Ballermann 6 - Stil und ungewöhnlich laute "sportliche Aktivitäten" in der Nacht. Wir wollten gern ein anderes Zimmer, es war aber keines von den anderen ca. 600 frei. Das Beste war das Frühstück im Restaurant Safari. Gemütlich, toller Service und gute Auswahl. Dennoch würden wir nicht wiederkommen. Wir kennen sehr viele Hotels in unterschiedlichen Ländern und dieses war einfach nicht gut!

Great 3 night break. As a family of 4 we booked a 2 bed apartment which was spacious and 2 bathrooms. The rooms are a little dated but perfectly clean and comfortable. The kitchen area served us well for our short stay and we requested a coffee machine for our room which was quickly delivered. My only gripes are the sofa smelt a bit musty and the power tripped a few times. The pool areas are lovely and we ate at Safari twice which was very nice. The coffee shop was nice with amazing ice cream but it was a good 20 min walk from where we stayed. You can walk to Fuengirola along the carriageway but I'd recommend a car depending on your plans.

Vi startede med en katastrofal indtjekning. Ankom med en i kørestol og havde haft korrespondance på email omkring dette. Vi havde ønsket en badebænk til rådighed, og de havde spurgt om hun kun gå "a few steps" hvilket vi bekræftede hun kunne. Da vi ankom havde vi fået en lejlighed på 2. sal med 33 trin op, og ingen badebænk. Det var på ingen måde muligt for os at bo der i en uge. Flere af receptionisten forsøgte at hjælpe men vi kunne ikke få et andet værelse da ingen var ledige, så vi skulle snakke med manageren dagen efter. Dagen efter begynder en ny receptionist at forsøge at løse vores problem og ville opgradere os til en suite som var det eneste ledige, hvor vi skulle betale flere tusind i difference. Det ville vi ikke og først da vi insisterede på at tale med manageren kom hun. 1,5 dag gik der med at løse det problem, og vi fik det meget flotte opgraderede værelse uden beregning da vi sagde vi ikke betalte for deres fejl. Det kunne manageren godt forstå, og hun beklagede mange gange og var meget lydhør. Der er rent og pænt. Et virkelig smukt og hyggeligt område. Personalet er søde og hjælpsomme. Der kører et lille gratis tog rundt i området som er gratis og kørestols venligt. Langt til et rigtig supermarked, men en lille dyr kiosk der lukker tidligt. Lift til at få kørestols brugere i poolen.

I will tell you good things and bad things let's start from good one's Facility very nice and landscaping gorgeous around very clean and people who work like service people very helpful and polite not too crowded people who work in Safari restaurant very quick and good food now starts with bed things first of all no signs for main reception it's huge Facility it's nightmare you're driving around and big trouble to find it finally when you get in main office onether nightmare people at front desk working so slow disorganized seriously check in it was about over an hour next hour we couldn't find the unit and I got sheety room with mildew stings I paid for 2 oceans view units me and my sister together I was one building she was 3 levels up but finally gave me better view and better room but by the road totally customer service it should be for sale otherwise I was happy I would give +3 for 5 stars

Sehr nettes Personal, Zimmerkategorie wie ausgewählt mit tollem Meerblick vom Balkon und kompletter Küche plus Waschmaschine. Zimmer, Bad und Wäsche waren sauber. Unterhaltungsprogramm an jedem Abend und viele auswählbare Unterhaltungen. Die Poolareale sind sauber und überwacht. Man kann bequem Tagesausflüge in andere Regionen, z.B. Gibraltar, Tangier und Wanderausflüge wie den Camenito del Rey an der Rezeption buchen und wird direkt im Resort abgeholt. Das Resort ist etwas abseits von Einkaufsmöglichkeiten außerhalb aber bietet einen buchbaren Transportservice und viele Taxis direkt an der Hauptrezeption und beim Servicecenter. Es gibt auch ein kostenloses Zugtaxi innerhalb des Resorts. Am Abend kann man viele Wildschweine im Resort beobachten. Man hat Zugang zu kleinen Strandbuchten vor dem Resort die fast privat wirken, allerdings hat man dafür über einem den Lärm der Hauptstraße im Rücken. Alles in Allem ist es ein schönes Resort zum Entspannen und Genießen.

It's located on a hill ! It's not beachfront or walking distance to the beach, you can see the ocean and it's a good 20mins walk down to the small pebble not suitable for swimming beach. Remember if you're walking down from your appartment to reception or the "beach" you will have to walk back up again. Not suitable for people who can't walk long distances and up and down hilly areas too. 2hrs extra for a late check out is not free, it's 30 euros ! Check out at 10 am. Ridiculous ! All branded hotels give you free late checkouts easily and happily. Asked for fresh towels, never received them, shower was blocked, no1 came to fix it after reporting it few times. Luckily there's a second shower. Room layout a bit strange. Large bed = 2 twin bed put together. Nothing to do in the area. There's a pool and onsite restaurant and a shop. Would not recommend this accommodation. This is not 5 star property. The only good thing was - the porters team was super nice and very friendly !

Nous avons passé 5 jours au Wyndham Grand Costa del Sol à Mijas. Ce n’est pas un hôtel classique, mais plutôt une résidence hôtelière. L’arrivée de nuit a été un peu compliquée : difficile de trouver la réception, et le plan donné pour accéder à notre bâtiment n’est pas très clair. Heureusement, l’accueil était agréable. L’appartement était une belle surprise : rénové, spacieux, très propre, avec deux chambres, deux salles de bain, trois toilettes, une cuisine bien équipée et une vue magnifique sur la mer. La literie est confortable, et la petite piscine privative sur la terrasse est un vrai plus. Deux grandes piscines sont également accessibles dans la résidence. Quelques points à améliorer : pas d’eau, pas de thé/café de bienvenue, aucun room service, ni ménage ni changement de serviettes pendant le séjour. Cela peut surprendre, surtout en arrivant tard le soir. Nous avons pris nos petits-déjeuners au Safari Restaurant sur place : très bon rapport qualité-prix, service agréable et produits de qualité. En résumé, un très bon séjour dans un cadre superbe, à condition d’être autonome. Idéal pour les familles. Nous y retournerons sûrement.

Very large resort. A little loud at night and in the corridors. Restaurants close early 9:30pm. Easy access to beach, but no unbrellas or chairs. Very crowded at the pool, chairs often all taken. Staff was very nice. Food and drinks at main pool area was great.

Etablissement sympa. Compliqué de récupérer les clés très loin du logement. Bon accueil et bien équipé. Bel environnement. Petit déj à éviter, vraiment pas de choix sans compter les smoothies qui avaient tournés sur 2 nos 2 jours de petits déjeuners de pus très cher pour ce que c'est. Vous avez le droit de choisir sur une carte mais 2 pancakes pas plus !! Donc pas vraiment à volonté idem pour les œufs .

Buenos apartamentos, bien dotados y con una buena ubicación del hotel. Desayuno excelente y buena atención del personal. El único inconveniente es que nos informaron que no suministran jabón para el cuerpo y que debíamos comprar. Sin embargo y pro la hora lo suministraron.

First experience was honestly not good, but once I found the right person to talk to, we had a great time. Lovely apartment with hot tub on the balcony, sea view, good facilities in the kitchenette, superb customer service (second time around anyway!). Some lovely rooms including a fully fitted kitchen, great sound system and very comfy beds. Restaurant is fine, menu is limited but food is reasonable quality and staff in restaurant were absolutely lovely. Breakfast choice was good (but expensive if you don't get a package deal) Nice to have a heated pool in the winter! Seriously blown away by the second lot of customer service, they couldn't have been better. Liked the look of the trips available and the train to get around the complex (the place is HUGE), but didn't get time to try them out. Next time hopefully. We'll definitely go back.

It is a very well maintained property and I liked that there were separate pools for families with kids versus adults. The restaurants were also very good and we enjoyed the fresh backed croissants each morning that we picked up as Zack's market. However, there are at least a dozen things about this resort that led us to conclude we would not go back: the matress on our bed was too hard and gave us aching hips by morning, you can't exchange towels except for grabbing a new one from a chair at the pool, they don't clean the rooms unless you stay more than 7 days, the adult pool is way too deep (over 6 feet, which made it uncomfortable to go in), the entertainment is very late at night (10:30 typically), and all the items in Zack's market are huge, including the bottles of water alchohol, shampoo/conditioner, and other personal items. They are too large for anyone staying only a week, unless I suppose you're with a large group. The resort looks good from the outside, but the approach regarding most things we asked about was is very stingy and there are so many oddities about the place, that we will not be going back. On a bright note, the food at the Safari restaurant was great and we went there several times during our stay.

De kamer is ruim en fijn ingericht. De jacuzzi was perfect! Wij hadden met Half Board geboekt. Het ontbijt was zeer eenvoudig en niet lekker. Ook moest je voor meerdere producten een meerprijs betalen. Het diner was goed maar je kreeg een zeer beperkte keuze. Ik zou aanraden om geen ontbijt of diner bij te boeken.

We had a great stay! We were impressed with the size of our One Bedroom with Full Kitchen. The unit had a good sized terrace / balcony and had a sea view. We enjoyed the convenience of the market/store on the property. We really enjoyed going for dinner at the Safari Restaurant. Danny & David and all the staff made our evening fun. The menu is a mix of Spanish, Mediterranean & European. Excellent food & drinks and top shelf service. The front desk staff & customer service were very friendly & helpful. Thanks for a great vacation! We would definitely stay again.

Rooms were very clean, not so much between the sofabed. Sofabed was comfy. Staff were super friendly and helpful. My family loved the Hot tub. The breakfast was in "Safari" which had a lot of choice and a breakfast menu to order. The Italian Restaurant on site's food was out of this world and service outstanding. The pool was big and loved the layout. Great for swimming rounds and for kids. Overall we had such a great time that we will definitely want to come back.

Amazing apartment and pool area at the top of the hill at the Wyndham resort. Staying at Santa Barbera Hights means access to an amazing pool with views overlooking the Mediterranean Sea and with nice sun beds. Apartment was well equipped with daily trash collection, but only new bed linens and towels after four days if you stay more than seven nights. Lively plunge pool on the balcony and nice furnitures to enjoy the evenings watching the sunset. Unfortunately the pool rules at the resort doesn’t allow floaties or play with balls so the kids were disappointed. Also, there’s no pool bar and eating in the pool area is not allowed. There is a refrigerator at the pool so storing drinks is convenient. At the resort the breakfast is at the Safari restaurant and offered both hot and cold options that were good. The evening dining was great at Grand Italia with amazing views and good food. The other restaurants weren’t anything special and overpriced for what you get. Renting a car is recommended to explore the surrounding areas and find good tapas, which can’t be found at the resort. Parking is free in garage under the apartment.
