Great little property close walkable ti downtown and trails. $25/day gets you access to bikes, SUP, kayaks to use. Great little cafe on site with games and cute atmosphere. Rooms definitely geared toward outdoor pursuits.

Everything was really great. Love how secure the location is. I was surprised by how the parking situation was very compact.

We loved this hotel! It was so different and trendy. Loved the fire pit and outdoor areas. Loved the hammock and cooler in the room. Access to the rental equipment is such a cool feature also.

Nice property close to downtown Missoula. Completely touch free with codes texted to your phone for check in-check out. Good amenities with free bicycles, SUPs, fishing rods, corn hole boards, bbq. A convenient coffee shop by the parking lot. Room was standard with some unexpected features. A hanging hammock and a Yeti cooler. Very convenient for parking and walking distance to the downtown area.

Great location!! Walkable to restaurants and the river. Had a nice time riding along the trail with the bikes we borrowed

Nicely done hotel - comfortable stay! Walkable area of town - and close enough for an easy drive to campus to see our student. Nice common spaces, great (free for guests) coffee from the Dog Wash Cafe and the smores kit was a nice treat. Would recommend and would stay again.

This was a very different type of hotel experience, lacking in customer service and comfort in exchange for phone apps and cold garage flooring. Be prepared to pay a separate $27 "resort fee" for access to bikes & misc. gear regardless if you use the rentals or not. There are no front desk or security staff present for after hours issues so it feels a bit unsafe as a solo female traveler. In-room issues included a loud heater that blows cold air, a door-less shower that went luke warm after less than 10 min and splashed water all over the floor, harsh bright lighting that had no bed side controls and charging outlets that didn't work. Also, what is the point of the Yeti cooler placed next to the fridge especially when there is no place to fill up ice? How much would i get charged for using this outside of the room and then something happening to it? I wouldn't want to find out that price tag if it got stolen. The hammock was fun for 5 minutes but then it was also blocking the TV view and hard to get in & out suspended over the bed.

through no fault of the owners and staff, a construction operation had severed the fiber optic cables that provided wi-fi to the hotel. None of the electronic access codes worked, TV would not operate, no wi-fi. The attached cafe had on wi-fi so were unable to accept credit cards for purchase of item. They did their utmost to make allowances for the disruption, still a pain though.

LOGE has gotten it right! Large room, plenty of space for your luggage, lots of surprises ! a balcony with table and chairs, they allow you use the Yukon cooler a travel blanket, and travel mugs on your adventures ! They even have a boot dryer! And the Cafe right next door has free coffee for guests. Our last stay they had a coffee truck sitting in the front!

Room was spotless and digital check in is very nice.

I liked the unique set up and the bed was more comfortable than what I've slept on in a hotel before. What I didn't like was that there was obviously a dog in our room before us. There was dog hair all over the towels, counters, the toilet and shower. We did not have our dog with us so it wasn't ours. The floors hadn't been mopped in a few days at least because our socks were brown after walking on the floor and our feet were dirty after just getting out of the shower. The fact that I paid $170 for a dirt room covered in dog hair is a little ridiculous. If it were a cheaper hotel I wouldn't have cared so much.

The floors were so dirty that they turned our feet/socks black within just a short time walking around. They aren’t visibly dirty because it is black flooring, but it was so gross. The parking garage is super tight for larger vehicles. We loved the hammock in the room and there are cool common facilities. I was disappointed they don’t have a place to use the SUPs without transporting them by vehicle.

Clean room all the supplies we needed

Upon arrival, the room seemed to be clean; but upon another 5 minutes of inspecting & looking around, dog hair was on just about every surface in the room. Fully aware that this hotel does cater to folks with dogs/animals; but the amount of dog hair that was on everything, from the bathtub/shower; even on the bedding & ALL over the floor, was very disgusting. Both of us had to throw out pairs of socks due to them having the bottoms covered in a mixture of other people’s dogs hair & dirt from the floors. Housekeeping could definitely do a much better job on cleanup, just even a quick vacuuming of the floor at best to eliminate this flaw. We’ve stayed in the LOGE in Leavenworth several times, & it’s far better in cleanliness compared to this location as a comparison. Other than that, rooms were well kept, noise wasn’t bad from other rooms, and conditions were great along with price, but we won’t be coming back to this location due to how dirty the room was.

Place was fine. Shower drain was clogged so it flooded the bathroom within a couple minutes of turning it on.

Comfortable room. Not certain to floor has been thoroughly cleaned in a while. Mop that floor please.

Our shower floaded all over the room because the drain was clogged with hair. Same thing with sink. Room bare bones. Fire pit was nice.

I spilled water on the floor and when I wiped it up the towel was black with dirt. Needless to say I didn’t walk barefoot. The fan on the sc was anlso very loud. Otherwise the space was good. Bed was comfortable, space was a good size, some noise but not too bad.

LOGE is a great concept. As avid hikers and mountain bikers, my bf & I thought we'd check it out. Upon arrival, I took a shower & water went all over the floor because they have those European half shower door setups. As I was drying the floor with the white towel, it was clear that the floor had not been cleaned prior to our visit. The towel was very dirty. I sent a photo of the towel to the number that had texted me several times prior to our visit & did not get a reply. The bathroom outlet also did not work so I texted them that too. Again, no reply. We went out to dinner & when we returned, the code to our room did not work. As there is no staff on site, we called the number in the text messages and were told that our room was being changed. What?! No communication at all & now our room is being changed at 10pm? I told them we didn't need a new room at this point & to give us another code. They gave it to us over the phone but did not text it to us & we didn't write it down because we assumed they would text it to us since they texted us to death before our arrival. Nope. So the next morning while packing up we had to prop our door open & count on the kindness of others to let us in the main entrance so we could load our suitcases & depart. Not cool. It would be well worth their while to have a staff member present to address concerns like these. They also need to work on basic cleanliness. Everything else was fine.

Firstly, the LODGE app is HORRIBLE/doesn't work. BUT, the hotel itself is nice, although there is a decent amount of road noise; staying in a room opposite of the main road would probably fix most of that. The hotel building is older, but well-built and the remodel work done is very nice and minimalist; the space feels open and inviting. The only critique i have of the room itself is the European-style/door-less showers. The shower stall itself is too short for this to work well without easily getting water on the floor, a door would fix this, though it wouldn't be as aestheticly pleasing. The on site maintenance guy was super nice, helped us work around the app issues and we needed an extension cord, he brought us one within minutes! I have dog allergies, so having a few no-dog rooms set asside would be nice, but the room was exceptionally clean and the rooms have hard floors instead of carpet; something i like very much, it keeps allergens down and is MUCH cleaner than carpet. Ive never understood why carpet is preferred in hotels, even when it's been freshly vacuumed, it's still not really clean. I also like the layout, its friendly for storing gear easily and if you bring a bike, there's even a dedicated space in the room for you to store it, but if you dont have a bike it can still store other items. The location is pretty good ,despite the road noise, this is a very walkable location with pretty much all you'd need a short distance away, including ice cream 😃

The stay was fine. This is a motel in a good location with some nice decor and some distracting amenities. But, go into it expecting motel quality beds and thin walls, with the added annoyance of having to fill out a registration form OUTSIDE the Hotels app, and get requests to sign up for an app to the hotel. It looks required but is not. There is no front desk or any on-site assistance if the cafe is closed (after 7pm). Is there a Yeti cooler in the room? Sure. Does the TV require you to give up your Google data to use? Also, yes. Is the location to downtown and the river walkable? Yes! Does using the hammock block anyone from sitting or using the bed. Again, yes. Is there a nice Rumpl picnic blanket on the shelf? Yes. Is there also a comforter that covers the bed to keep you warm on a morning that drops into the 30s? No. Does the Rumpl cover the full bed? No. I get the idea. I'm sure millennials love the whole "no front desk" text/email concept. Do you as the guest end up doing the work a now out of work front desk employee would normally do? Yes. The decor was thought out aesthetically, but not so much functionally. Balcony room is better than not, but ours was over a dumpster, so the second we opened the door—flies. So...mixed bag. Would I stay again? No. The bed was not great, and I'm at the age where that matters. The location negates a lot of the other issues. The cafe seems nice, and the barista/bartender helped us with questions when we asked (and they were open).

It’s basically an AirBnb for a hotel room, but more expensive. No clear instructions on where to enter your password when you “check-in”. Rooms are decent, but could easily hear footsteps upstairs. The cafe next door is great, though.

Stayed for 2 nights, heater is a little noisy and dogs barked outback the first morning early. Need blackout curtains for a better sleep.

Property itself was great. The main road running adjacent was noisy. Heard cars all night. Was a very clean nice room and perfect for our needs. Water pressure was horrible but made do. There was no trash bins in room besides the small one in the bathroom, not huge deal but could use another. The rest was great, get the use of a cooler, headlamp and even a nice hammock hanging from the ceiling. Also the balcony was nice. If you drive a large truck the parking is tight. Would stay again though.

I really enjoyed my stay and plan to stay at Loge again. My only issue was my room facing Broadway had a lot of traffic noise. I wasn’t aware of and didn’t see any complimentary breakfast items. Maybe I misunderstood but I thought the pastries and specialty coffee were available to purchase. That being sai, The Dog Wash Cafe is a great space and my dogs and are started our mornings there for coffee for me and a dog biscuit for them. My room was nicely laid out and the common areas very clean

Room was nice and bed was comfortable. Having parking was a plus. Shower was slightly dirty and the walls are very thin, could hear almost everything my neighbors were doing. If you are looking for a place the helps you adventure and walking distance to downtown, it’s a good fit.

I loved the check in process is all done through text. Code to enter the building and the room. There are extra supplies for guests, towels, toilet paper, even a remote. The Dog Wash Cafe staff was absolutely amazing. They were friendly and went above and beyond for my family. We were in town to remove my daughter from life support. They extended our stay multiple times and provided us with a care package to make sure we were taking care of ourselves. I can’t recommend them enough. Julie and the other staff will be forever in my heart.

I was ok with the digital check in process...although ultimately the app failed to provide room number and access code. I would have preferred an in person check in at the LOGE coffee shop...which ironically was requested by them as there was an issue with my credit card. So, i ended up receiving check in info by text. Otherwise..loved the room, nice swag, water, instant coffee(great), very clean, cool, and comfy.

When we arrived at the hotel they do not have a check in office. Thankfully a gentleman who was in process of closing the cafe saw me outside and offered his assistance. Everything is electronic for the room # and to get in the building. My phone number was input incorrect so I did not receive a code or room number. This was at 7:00 pm we arrived. I am very thankful to this employee. We did enjoy our stay

Stayed at property in the past. Good rates. We did have a small issue with double charge which was rectified quickly. Great room and location. Not a fan of the outdoor type fee they charge whether you use their stuff, but it’s part of their thing. Otherwise, all good.

It was our first time staying at a LOGE property and it certainly won't be our last. The entire concept of "Live Outside Go Explore" was evident from amenities offered to the hammock hanging from the ceiling. I was slightly concerned about not having a front desk to check into - but the texting with the staff was so easy. The replies were quick and helpful. The Dog Wash Cafe had excellent espresso and pastry options. And while the actual cafe was great, I chose to sit outdoors in the hotel "outdoor living space" to enjoy the calm morning with my almond croissant and americano. :)

The Loge is really intended for those in the Missoula area simply wanting a bed and shower. Its not for business travelers. There is no lobby or front desk staff, something that surprised me and several other guests on the day of my arrival. Everything is done via your phone and lock codes. Despite the fact I indicated my arrival was at 3 pm, my lock code didnt work until 4 pm. To make matters worse, I texted the number referenced if a problem arose and never did get a response. The parking lot is really tight.....saw a couple of cars making multi-point manuevers to get in/out of parking spots.

We arrived 2 minutes before 4 pm our check in time and the door would not unlock. We had to call the number and the staff at the cafe let us in. The checknin time should be 3:45 or later. It was inconvenient. The morning staff at the cafe was rude and unhelpful. The ER is across the street and therefore it can be loud.

I like that the location feels exclusive and yet right in the center of all that Missoula offers for outdoors. Great location, great views, and good distance to anything fun!

Sketchy neighborhood with lots of homeless and druggies wondering about. Don’t leave any valuables in your car!

LOGE is an interesting unique property in a convenient downtown Missoula location. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We loved the Dog Bath cafe that doubles as the Loge lobby. We visit Missoula often and plan to stay at LOGE in the future.

Nice amenities for the adventurer. We used the bikes for a cruise along the river on the morning before we left. The hammock in the room was a fun addition. Parking is very tight with a bigger vehicle but manageable. Our shower could have been cleaner but everything else was perfect.

The facility is indeed like it looks in the photos. The room was newly-finished and thoughtfully-designed. The strange thing about staying here is the lack of basic hotel amenities: there's a Yeti cooler, but there's no ice machine anywhere. There's a cafe on site, full of trail guidebooks, but they don't have any food. There's a TV in the room but it's not hooked up to cable so you can't watch anything. And the lack of any human person on site to help feels strange. It's sort of like hotel-as-vending machine. It feels like they tried so hard on the outdoors theme that they forgot the basics of hospitality.

We had a good stay. The location was good for us to enjoy walking around downtown, good shops and restaurants. Dog Wash Cafe is also convenient for a quick breakfast or light drinks.

We loved staying here! It was clean, comfortable, and easy to check in. The cafe across the parking lot was so convenient and the food and drinks were delish. Only thing we had an issue with was the shower. The floor was slippery and the glass

Brand new and clean but the gear room was still being established which was not clear on reserving. The food offerings at the dog wash cafe was not great - mostly purchased outside and wrapped with too much plastic. Minimal but friendly staff and just a short walk to the center of Missoula.
