A beautiful property within a short downhill walk to the city centre. Parking was limited and check in was self serve, would be nice to have somebody to greet you and offer information if needed. The breakfast was beautiful and fresh with very helpful staff.

Nice hotel. 20 min downhill walk to historic Bath. It’s uphill coming back! Delicious breakfast. Nice staff. Just know that parking is tight and only 8 spots. If you don’t get one, it’s difficult to find any street parking nearby.

Lovely comfortable room. Breakfast was very nice with plenty of choice amd friendly service. We found parking limited but managed to park in a nearby carpark and taxis were easy to arrange.

Clean room and bathroom, all very well appointed. Beautiful dining area with a great breakfast and friendly staff. Got there early enough to benefit from the parking. Only constructive feedback I can offer is that it could do with a more prominent sign outside as I missed it and had to get out to find it. Great location for a short walk into the city centre. Would definitely return and highly recommend.

The bed was really comfortable, great pillows, superb shower, relaxed feel and helpful staff. Breakfast is very good. Parking is limited, but we were able to park at the top of the drive OK. The car charger is broken atm. Overall a really good stay.

Lovely B&B - large and very comfortable room, easy access instructions when we arrived late and excellent breakfast. EV charger, though was out of order when we stayed.

Excellent quality room and bathroom. Very good water pressure for the shower. Good quality breakfast too. I was able to park easily on a day that wasn’t busy. The road near the hotel also has free parking after 6pm until 8am if needed.

Cute b&b, walkable into the city centre. Nice room at the top of the building. Good WiFi. Shower was lovely plenty of toiletries. Tea making facilities and bottled water. Contactless check in went smoothly. Car park was full when we arrived late in the evening but we’d booked a parking space on a nearby drive using a parking app. Breakfasts were delicious and plenty of choice. Buffet and cooked. B&b worked very well for us.

Lovely well presented property. Tasty breakfast with lots of options. Room was spotless and comfortable. Was in easy reach of central Bath. What really stood out was the brilliant friendly staff team. They are a real asset to the business and I really hope they are appreciated.

We had five nights at Tyndall Villa and were disappointed. There was no one on reception when we arrived at 6pm so gaining access to the property difficult. There was mould in the shower, rooms poorly serviced (bins not emptied) and breakfast was average… tinned fruit salad! But the coffee was good and dining room staff were pleasant. The location is good but on a very busy road. We would not stay there again.

This is a lovely hotel but there is a total lack of any personal interaction from the owners. We had to use a code to enter, find our key and our room. We were never asked how we were finding our stay during the 3 days and checked out by ourselves by leaving our key in a bowl as there was noone around at 10am when we left. Apart from many scuff marks on the wall areas on the stairways, the hotel was clean. We were in room 7 which suffers from a lot of road noise but also has extremely poor sound insulation. You can hear every conversation from the room below. The room could benefit from some basic maintenance checks, the blinds in the bathroom are broken, bulb is burst and I suffered a bad slip in the shower as there is no rubber mat or texturing on the shower base. The bed linens were very clean but the mattress was extremely hard and uncomfortable. It would benefit from a mattress topper for a bit of softness. There is adequate parking although the walk back from the centre is up a very steep hill. The breakfast provided was enjoyable, although the juice provided wasn't chilled or of great quality. Some personal involvement from the owners would greatly improve the total lack of welcome that we felt at this hotel and provide a more positive experience for guests.

The room was very nice and very clean. The toiletries supplied we beautiful. The bed was very comfortable. They were extremely helpful in finding a room for my husband with his back injury. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend and we will definitely stay again if we are in the area.

The hotel is very attractive and in immaculate condition. The room was beautiful and also quiet although the hotel is on a busy road. The best was very comfortable and we slept really well. There was everything you could want in the room and the breakfast was excellent. We’ll definitely be going back!

Lovely hotel across the river but within convenient walking distance of the main attractions in Bath. Our room didn't have A/C but looked into the rose garden, so it was cool and quiet. The freshly cooked breakfast was a treat!

Beautiful boutique hotel in a Great location. Staff lovely. Unfortunately we were in the basement (lovely room) and the guests above were were very noisy. The staff did move us to another room.

Bed was comfortable the room could do with air con not just a fan as the room temp was 27.5, the shower gel ran out on the 2nd day and not replaced on the room clean a wall dispenser would be better like the hand soap, the tea coffee and waters were good but if you but them in the fridge it could be taken by other guests

Unfortunately it was 30 degrees the two days we stayed here. Being on the top level, the room was uncomfortably hot and the fan provided made no difference. We attempted to contact staff using the number provided as well as message through expedia to request a change of room or additional fan. We even sat in the reception for hours each night, ringing the bell in the hopes we could speak to one of the staff and to escape the heat in the room. We did not receive a response until moments before checking out which was very disappointing. While we understand the building is old, attempting to sleep when it was 28 degrees inside the room was impossible. Aside from the heating and poor communication the room was nice and the breakfast tasty.

Enjoyed our stay, rated the breakfast options and the decor. Comfy bed and good shower. Small cleanliness issues like hairs from previous guest in bathroom. Our room faced the road and the sash windows are single glazed so it was very noisy and cold and by morning there was a lot of condensation on the glass. Next time I would book a room away from the road.

Arrived after staff had left for the day, but easy access and keys to room where expected. Good compact room though some furnishings definitely past their best. Needed to have windows open to cool room down (we were up in ‘attic’ - nbr 11) which meant that one could hear traffic outside. Delicious breakfasts (though main courses arrived before cereal finished) and staff very friendly, cheerful and efficient. House in reasonable walking distance to go into town; and our bus passes worked for return (stopping right outside). Thank you

5 Stars! Lovely B&B, great breakfast, friendly staff. Room (No17) i was good, but quite small. No chair. The house is Close to City Centre. The Quality of fixtures, furniture and decor were well above average. I will stay again, but in a larger room.

We booked a king room but were given a queen bed. No staff onsite upon 5pm-ish check in to discuss. Didnt want to contact emergency number because it wasn't an emergency so emailed through booking website. No response, still no response 24 hours later.
We booked a king room but were given a queen bed. No staff onsite upon 5pm-ish check in to discuss. Didnt want to contact emergency number because it wasn't an emergency so emailed through booking website. No response, still no response 24 hours later.

A beautiful property within a short downhill walk to the city centre. Parking was limited and check in was self serve, would be nice to have somebody to greet you and offer information if needed. The breakfast was beautiful and fresh with very helpful staff.

Beautiful hotel, short walk into the centre of bath. Check in was difficult as an email wasn’t sent with the codes and we had to call the emergency number- that person sounded very annoyed when called

From the moment I arrived, the staff and the B&B never ceased to amaze me. I got there long before check-in (before check-out, to be honest) after climbing the hill with my 50 lbs luggage and they greeted me warmly, told me all about the bus I could have taken (I didn't factor the incline into my decision to walk) and immediately gave me the key to my room, which was miraculously ready. The room was just what I needed, with a kettle and my own bathroom. The shower is small, if you happen to be much taller or wider than me, but the temperature and pressure were excellent. You also get a card to fill in your breakfast choices, and I was blown away by what I received the following morning. Absolutely delicious, with fruits, cereal, yoghurt, cookies, and other treats you can help yourself to as well. I left my luggage after checking out around 8, and when I came to claim it, not only was the staff wonderful, I was offered water or a snack for my travels. Incredible stay and I hope to come back.

If you are expecting a true B&B then this location is not for you. It’s more like a small hotel with 17 rooms. It has very limited parking of maybe 6-8 cars. When you arrive after 5 PM as we did, there is no staff to greet you or inform you of how you to find your room. There was simply a key lying inside a window seal just inside the main entrance door. None of this was relayed to the traveler prior to arrival. Luckily another guess helped us out. The room was very warm when we arrived, we attempted to lower the temp via the t-stat but it made no diff. Finally my wife found an occillating fan inside a closet which had cooling capabilities. We turned it on and made the room comfortable but again no instructions were previously provided nor were they located within the room. We were left to discover these things on our own. For what we were charged the preparation should have been better and again this is not a true B&B so you will be disappointed as we were once you find out what you have walked into

Lovely stay, really elegant hotel. Great location, only 15 mins walk from the city centre. Slept really well, and very nice breakfast. The young men serving breakfast were very professional and welcoming. Only two minor issues, arrived 1hr after check in, and no one available to greet us. Email advised where keys were to be be collected from, but they were not there (another couple arrived 20 mins after us, we searched for keys together). After 3 phone calls to emergency number, 2 calls to office, and one email. The owner/manager phoned me back. The receptionist had left for the day and not left keys out. The delay meant that we had to alter our plans for the afternoon, which was a little disappointing but I accept it was a genuine mistake. Secondly, the hotel did not have its name plaque up on show, so we drove past the building twice trying to find it. In the whole scheme of things these were small minor things and overall both my teenage daughter and myself had a very pleasant stay in Bath. Thank you.

Rooms are great with plenty of space, nice modern bathrooms. Very good breakfast choices in a very nice breakfast room and overall reasonably priced. About 10-15 mins to walk into Bath but good parking so very convenient

Beautiful hotel, great location, just out of the City centre. There is a bit of a walk back up a fairly steep hill. Breakfast has to be ordered the evening before and there is a good choice. The only downside the room we stayed in was that it faced the main road and we were unable to have the window open during the night as it was very noisy. If we stayed again, we would choose a room facing the garden.

Beautiful property with clean and cosy rooms and a comfortable bed! The room was on the smaller side but had an en-suite, was well-decorated and quiet and had all amenities provided (kettle, tea/coffee, hairdryer, free WiFi). The location is excellent - it is a 15 minute walk downhill into Bath city centre and there are bus stops right outside. The free reservable parking was a huge bonus. Breakfast was tasty and there was a good choice of cooked and continental options. The price we paid for 2 nights was excellent for the quality and location of this B&B. We really enjoyed our stay here and would happily recommend to others!

Nice hotel. 20 min downhill walk to historic Bath. It’s uphill coming back! Delicious breakfast. Nice staff. Just know that parking is tight and only 8 spots. If you don’t get one, it’s difficult to find any street parking nearby.

Everything was excellent, The staff were amazing, breakfast was filling and there was a variety of different foods, the bed was probably the best mattress we have ever slept on. Would definitely recommend Tyndall Villa’s for anyone visiting Bath. 10 minutes walk to town down hill, recommend getting the bus back up hill. All in all, a wonderful place to stay.

Arrived after staff had left for the day, but easy access and keys to room where expected. Good compact room though some furnishings definitely past their best. Needed to have windows open to cool room down (we were up in ‘attic’ - nbr 11) which meant that one could hear traffic outside. Delicious breakfasts (though main courses arrived before cereal finished) and staff very friendly, cheerful and efficient. House in reasonable walking distance to go into town; and our bus passes worked for return (stopping right outside). Thank you

The property is a very beautiful victorian building and decorated quite tastefully. Its around a 15 minute walk into town or the option for a bus it is uphill coming back up from town. I felt although the full English breakfast was lovely the continental option was quite limited. All in all this was a very nice overnight stay

The property is beautifully decorated and structured. We walked to the Bath city centre and attractions. Breakfast was well above average and served There were some excellent evening meals within a short walk. Highly recommended.

This is a beautiful b&b with really quaint rooms and an excellent breakfast included. It was quite easy to get into central Bath on the bus and the views from our room were beautiful, especially at sunset. The only issue we had was that this hotel was advertised on hotels.com as having a/c and, upon arrival during the heatwave, we were told that our specific room did not actually have working a/c. We were provided with a small fan, but the temperature gauge on the wall often showed the room to be close to 89 degrees or above. Any other time of the year I’d definitely stay here again as they even have heated floors in the bathroom…but we didn’t need those on this trip!

Veldig fint og koselig B&B. God frokost og hyggelig personalet. Ligger litt unna sentrum hvis du ikke er så glad i å gå. Men det er ikke noe problem hvis du ikke er redd for å gå noen skritt.
