The property itself was charming and exceptionally clean, honestly one of the cleanest hotels I've ever stayed at. The room was very spacious, and the bed was comfortable. Parking was free and plentiful, and the location was ideal for lots of nature. My only small gripes is that there was not staff present 24 hours a day which is typical at almost all hotels. Also, the cafe area is locked at night. I had to depart at 5 AM so it would have been nice to be able to grab food on the way out. Otherwise, I highly recommend the place and would absolutely return if I was in the area again.

Staff were very friendly and helpful - the game room kept our kids entertained and there's a nice walking path that leads to a beautiful view of the reservoir. Easy walk to local restaurants, nice quiet and laid back vibe!

This property is the perfect place to stay in Nederland! It is walking proximity to great restaurants and even a grocery store if you need it! Just to the side of the property you can pick up a nice walking trail that leads you to the reservoir for fishing or just a nice walk. The staff are wonderful and the hotel has a nice area over looking the town where you can play many board games that the hotel has for guests! My children loved their stay here!

This was such a cute lodge in the heart of Nederland, CO. The included breakfast hit the spot and the rooms were perfectly comfortable. However, the best part for us, was the game room upstairs. Our kids loved hanging out and made full use of the common room.

The Boulder Creek Lodge was beautifully decorated for the holidays, with the lobby feeling like home. The staff members were all friendly and helpful. The room was simple, but spacious with two comfortable beds, desk, TV, propane fireplace/stove, mini-fridge and microwave. The location was wonderful and parking was great.

Great touches like two sinks--one inside the bathroom and one just outside; a wood stove converted to gas in the room. We got to check in early around 2. Some of the staff was helpful and the lodge is very convenient to town. I checked our bed before I got in it. It’s just something I do when staying at a hotel. Our bed was clearly dirty with a stain and crumbs in it. The bedroom and bathroom floors were dirty. I asked for clean sheets to make up our bed. I didn’t even get a sorry or can I help. It was okay though I could easily make the bed up. One other thing I was quoted 220.00 for the cheapest room then found online for a little less so I booked it. Then when we checked in the room rate said 158.00?!? I was not very happy about that. Oh well we got a couple of hot showers anyways and very convenient to town since we were on foot:)

They had problems with the TV and he came in right away and help fix it but after that still had problems the place was a little dirty dusty and the shower curtain smelled sour when I got in the shower and the deadbolt was broken on the door beautiful view The carpeting in places was coming up

This is a rustic western lodge, if you're looking for fancy this won't be your place but we really liked it. We will definitely come again when we're in the area. The room we had was so nice, very clean.

This was a last minute stay for us, as we had an unexpected change of plans. I didn’t have time to do any research before booking. The hotel is right on Boulder Creek and the lobby is inviting with seating and access to the patio on the creek. The rooms, however, are dated and feel dirty. And the continental breakfast (which opens at 8am) was a disappointment. They offered waffles and a selection of Costco bagels, cereal and snacks.

Thé room was very clean but quite dark. It was difficult to read a book on one side of the bed. We could never get the tv to work although that could have been an issue with Direct TV. The gentleman at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was clean, but dark; even with all the lights on, it was hard to see. Only one of the outlets worked to plug in a charger. The shower curtain rod was falling off the wall. Plenty of towels. The hallway smelled like people used to smoke in the hotel years ago-- just a subtle hint of old smoke.

Convenient to the town's many restaurants and short walk to a supermarket, liquor store and outfitters. Short drive from many trails and national parks, so it's a good home base for adventures. I didn't have a pet with me, but the new manager told me that he's dropped the extra $10 a night pet fee. The first night I stayed in the accessible room, which was a bit close to the lobby (some talking and such) and also on the parking lot side, which means the cars are very close to the windows. If this bothers you, ask for a creek side room. For a bit more money, the king suite I had on that side further down the hall was really lovely. Better mattress, furnishings and view of the town over the creek and up the hill. The gas fireplace was nice and the bathroom was spotless. The lobby is comfy (both downstairs and upstairs) to hang out with friends or maybe make new ones. Manager also says they are working with municipality on internet speed, which is kind of slow now. Basic cable on TV, so download a movie to laptop or device in advance.

Comfortable stay, great service. Front desk responsive to the TV not working. Heating easy to control, easy to get ventilation, enough power outlets. Only negative was the shower control didn't completely block the bath faucet from flowing. Would highly recommend.

Boulder creek is great to be next to, and great location. One gripe is that the rooms are a little dark and I had to move the bedlamp to the desk to be able to work on it.

What a great location and lodge! We stayed in a family suite and had so much room! And you can easily walk to all the delicious restaurants Nederland has to offer. The staff went above and beyond!

We had hoped to use this as our base every Friday during ski season, however our first stay this weekend has us rethinking and we will likely just make the drive every Saturday morning. It started out good aside from the overwhelming marijuana smells (so much so that my 6 year old asked to open the windows); nice rooms, clean, good location. However, when I got up the next morning to pack up and get to the slopes with my kids, it had snowed a foot and the property did not shovel any of the walkways (and driving home later that day it still had not been done making this property inaccessible to anyone with ADA needs). Then I got locked out of the building (not realizing the main reception would be locked at 7a) and when I called the number posted, I was met by a rude reception from "Lexi" the apparent manager who proceeded to say F**k you as he was getting me a new key. We'll be cancelling our future reservations :(

Incredibly frustrating experience. My family of five traveled in from out of state and took in a Rockies game before heading to the Boulder Creek Lodge. We arrive after 11 only to find out they wouldn’t accept late check-ins. They claimed to have sent a email with this information, but I did not receive any such communication. The night manager said there was nothing he could do, but if I requested a refund through Hotels.com he would gladly approve it. Only he did not. So not only did we have to scramble to find another room, they refused to refund us our money. Easily my most frustrating hotel booking.

I drove 15 hours. Arrived at 11:30pm. No one ti check me in. There was a key left on the counter to room 245, but it was occupied. Had to sleep in the car.

They didn't have any room keys. If you wanted back in your room, someone had to let you in. I got locked out of my room and couldn't find anyone to help me for hours. Eventually I had to call the cops to search the employee areas so I could get back in

Amazing staff. I left my key in the room at 130am and gratefully they have a staff member overnight who was able to let me in. Thank you again for saving me from the cold.

We loved listening to the river all night with our window open. There was a lovely breakfast spot across the street - Train Cars Coffee & Kava. The lodge is in the center of town with easy walking to nearby restaurants. There are also scenic drives between Boulder and Estes Park.

Beautiful lodge, large rooms and comfy beds! The toilet continuously ran, so double check for maintenance items before issuing rooms. Otherwise was a great stay. Loved that we could walk over the footbridge into town for meals and walk the trail along the creek to the reservoir!

Our room backed to the creek and the sounds of the running creek made for a relaxing sleep! The lodge is walking distance to everything in Nederland. Will definitely stay there again.

The breakfast options were a bit disappointing. No eggs and bacon, just waffles and oatmeal for hot options. Great employees ! Quaint property built with logs in a beautiful location but the mattress was really bad- very soft.... Breakfast waffles were amazing and coffee nice and hot. But for the bed we would return. The bathroom was immaculate and the tub/shower had railings which was very helpful.

How strange to ask guests not to request additional toilet paper until the roll is depleted? This property is showing its age: worn and not very clean. In addition, there is no coffee avail on the property before 8am. Not very convenient for jet lagged travelers. None in the rooms, nor lobby. When did coffee become a luxury? Finally, breakfast was also interesting. The area blew a fuse, a known problem if more than 2 of the appliances are plugged in. That’s ok, here’s a shared butter tub with barely any left. I know you are the only hotel in Nederland, but don’t you want to do better?

The room was great! Very comfy and cozy! The complimentary breakfast is mostly grab and go stuff plus some waffles or cereal. Good options though. Its very convenient walking distance to everything you want to see in town and they have a plethera of games to play.

This is a sweet little property for a quick stay. Convenient to skiing and gambling. Reason I gave low marks for staff is last time I was there the breakfast was not available. (it was New Years Day - but still if advertised it should have been available). Also, the staff didn't really seem to want to get off their chairs to see about laying anything out. I think, being the Holiday, it was 2nd string.

This was a last minute stay for us, as we had an unexpected change of plans. I didn’t have time to do any research before booking. The hotel is right on Boulder Creek and the lobby is inviting with seating and access to the patio on the creek. The rooms, however, are dated and feel dirty. And the continental breakfast (which opens at 8am) was a disappointment. They offered waffles and a selection of Costco bagels, cereal and snacks.
