The property was nice, rooms were clean with no problem in them. Only draw back. Ice machine, they only had one and it was on the 3 rd floor, I was on the first. When I went to get ice, the machine was working and it sounded like ice was in it, but would not drop the ice. I went to the check in desks on the first floor and no one was at it. I did not call out but waited 3 to 4 minutes to see if anyone would come out of the back room, and they didn’t. The next day I check the ice unit to see if it was working. It wasn’t so I went to the front desk again and again no one was at the desk. I did not call out and waited for someone to show up and that did not happen. Beside that it was a nice place to stay at.

We basically always stay here when we come to Ashe to visit family. It’s comfortable, clean and convenient. My only complaint is that the pool has been unavailable during our last 3 stays over the course of the last 6 months. This isn’t a dealbreaker, but it’s disappointing for our daughter.

First room #101 was not so good because of AC unit for building was outside of window . Unit ran continuouslyand was very loud, hard to sleep at night because of it. Room changed next day to #302 which was a wonderful room. Overall hotel was great, exceptionally clean. Breakfast was great each morning, Like that it was varied, not the same each day. Everyone working in the hotel were very nice. Pool was very clean but chemicals were extremely strong. Best Holiday Inn we've stayed in, would definitely return if in that area again.

Clean hotel. Nice area. Door had an unusually large crack which was uncomfortable. We filled with a towel. Room was clean overall. Breakfast was included and decent with lots of variety. Lobby warm and inviting. The girl who checked in was very friendly.

Hotel feels safe and secure. You want an attractive room too but the cabinet that holds the mini-fridge is very scratched and damaged at the bottom. One of the pictures in the room and one in the bathroom appear to be framed sideways. There was a long black hair on the bathroom counter.

Check in was quick and the staff was friendly. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. The Mountain View from our room was beautiful! The breakfast was very good as well as the coffee. I will definitely stay here again!

Hotel was nice and staff was amazing. Had a door lock issue and the staff was all over it. They got our door open and immediately moved us to another room. Breakfast was simple and tasty. Eggs were not runny and perfectly done. I will return for another stay.

Overall, this is an outstanding property with many amenities. It is clean, superbly maintained, quiet, and has attractive grounds and a great view. The only problems I noted were that the front desk was often unstaffed for extended periods and the staff (especially the males) need a dress and grooming code. Not everyone needs to look like Ken (or Barbie), but some of the men working the desk and kitchen were so slovenly as to undermine the image of the hotel as a classy operation

TThe customer service was terrible. We had an issue with the bathroom, and the front desk never answered the call. I went down to see what was going on and found the front desk clerk on his cell phone (not on a call) and ignoring the call. When I asked if he heard me calling, he said, "I thought I heard the phone ring"! What??? Additionally, the front desk clerk did not offer us water and stated, "We don't offer water at night, only for breakfast." Fine, but the vending machines are also out of water. Ingle's is down the street if you have to know! This one is on my list not to use again.
