No pool. Bugs in the first two rooms and the advice given to me by the front desk when I alerted them to the bug’s presence was, “Sometimes if you just leave the door open they’ll just run out.” Breakfastbdried out rolls set up on a cart in the lobby. Empty vending machines.

We didn’t get room that was pictured. No hot tub or pool. Sadly disappointed..

Staff were so friendly and helpful. I forgot my phone charger in my room and the housekeeper ran outside in hopes to catch me still in the parking lot (I was). I booked the wrong room and they were quick to correct MY error and switched my room for me. The property is under remodeling , but it is still easy to get around. It was perfect for a one night stay to get rear on a long drive. I make this drive a few times a year and will definitely stay here again. Please note the pool is closed due to the remodel, but they have jacuzzi tub rooms!

Pool out of order, elevator not working, no hot breakfast. Springs in mattress were apparent. Otherwise clean and nice staff.

Very run down and dirty. Parking lot very poor condition. Sheetrock ceiling and walls in very poor condition. Broken furniture and sink did not drain.

The elevators were broken, which is a huge inconvenience for someone that has had 4 knee surgeries. Instead of comping us a room for downstairs he up charged us instead. It's not our fault your equipment was faulty. I was disappointed we had to pay extra for the mishap.

The room was clean and looked good. There was a construction mess inside the hotel. The pool was closed due to construction. The morning breakfast area was closed due to construction. Breakfast was just coffee, muffins and a microwavable frozen croissant.

Hotel is under renovation, so no pool available. This should be told before booking. This is the 2nd time we have run into this situation while using hotels.com and we are not happy to have paid for a hotel room thinking we could relax with our grandkids whwile they have fun and swim.

There was no pool or hot tub.

Okay for 2 star place but overpriced due to pool closed for maintenance (per other comments, been that way for years), on the go breakfast (no hot meal), noisy A/C, centipedes in bathroom at night, and in need of overall renovations. Friendly & efficient staff, comfortable & clean bedding, felt safe.

This place was in total disarray. The building had a bad smell and the room smelled even worse. It was very run down

Very dirty

The property is run down, had odor about it. There are signs at the front desk that say you have 15 minutes to check out your room to decide to stay or not. After that, you will be charged for it. Think about that. We should have left then and there, but we had friends who'd booked it, and we had an event together. Our room was smelly and stuffy when we got to it. The AC worked, though, and we turned it on immediately. We did not use the shower, as it was visibly dirty. Water in the sink never got warm - we ran it for a good three minutes. I do not mind an old or out of date place, but I do mind one that is not clean. We will not be staying there again.

Rooms did not look like they did online. Building was under construction with exposed ceilings not properly blocked off. Room was not clean, stains in bedding, damaged walls with debris on floor, etc. did not stay the night. Went back down to desk to get a refund.

the hotel was very dirty especially the shower. the towels were very dirty and yellow. i never felt so disgusted, this morning found bed bugs in my bed. I will never stay here again.

There were bed bugs on my bed, the area felt felt unsafe, the room smelt like cigarettes, we left immediately after checking room.

The entire hotel smelled so badly of weed. The staff moved us rooms because the smell of weed was so bad and my husband received a very bad bug bite in the bed. Then the new room smelled like mildew very badly. The new room's bathroom smelled like weed sooo badly that I had to hold my breath every time I went to the bathroom. The fan in the bathroom didn't help at all for the smell. The bedding had bed bug dirt but I didn't see anything on the mattress. Just the bed cover. There was trash in the room when we got in there. The breakfast area was being renovated so the breakfast food was nonexistent. The jacuzzi was very dirty and I had to clean it to use it. The directions for the jacuzzi were not helpful and the warning about any damage would be my responsibility made me not even turn the jets on. Overall the whole hotel smelled awful and was extremely dirty. If I could give this hotel zero stars I would have.

Limited hotel choices in Troy so settled on this one. No mention on Expedia of the building under repair. Entire pool and common areas are covered by plastic and the ceiling is wide open to pipes and ventilation. Told pipes burst and waiting for insurance settlement but looking at reviews now it’s been like this for over a year. Room is was okay for cleanliness. Some sheets and pillowcases seemed dingy yellow not white. Corner molding was off one area and leaning in the closet area. Nails in wall maybe where there was a picture. Plaster under window visible cracked and coming off. Walls paper thin and so much noise after midnight, TVs, people talking and you would have thought they were in our room, walking, things hitting the wall?? Didn’t get much sleep left hotel before 7am on our vacation. Would not stay here again. Drive the extra miles to different town or try one of other 2 hotels in town. $124 was too much for condition of this hotel.

The light over the bathroom sink didn’t work. Making things a bit difficult when doing hair and makeup

Fan didnt work on the AC, so when it kicked on it woke me up. TV kept losing conection and being glitchy. Breakfast was only until 9 am and they only had packaged things like muffins. Bathroom was so small and claustrophobic. Not terrible, but wont stay there again. Wasnt worth what i paid.

Nice place. Thin walls. The people next door had their tv on until 3am.I could hear it clearly.

This is the worse hotel stay of me and my wife’s life. Booked weeks in advance. When we booked the location listed the facility as having a pool and continental breakfast. When we rolled into the parking lot multiple vehicles with flat tires that had obviously been parked there for a while were seen. When we entered the building we were greeted by “a smell” behind the counter were two people who evidently cared nothing about customer service. When I complained that the dinning area was closed and they informed me that breakfast was a “to go” breakfast. Which consisted of cheep coffee, and bagged muffins and bagged “sandwiches”. They informed us the pool was closed. The main hallway was tapped off with plastic, the facility was falling apart, convenience machines were out of order or un-stocked. Having driven for hours to arrive to our location we expected so much more. When I very adamantly expressed my dissatisfaction with the owner he dismissively and rudely offered to cancel the stay. As if I wanted to spend the next few hours looking for a hotel that was available on a Friday night on my anniversary. Sure thanks a lot you generous person. “Luxury” inn and not so sweet. Please steer clear of this business destined for bankruptcy. Should be a zero star review. Can’t wait to hear the response the owner has to say

The lady at the desk was very helpful and friendly. This is an older building that is being renovated and updated. The only reason I didn't give it all 5 stars is because it was advertised as having a free breakfast, but the dining room was being updated, so the breakfast was some kind of sandwiches. We decided to go to a nearby cafe instead.

Front desk barley spoke english then the phone checkout, they were so intent on keeping deposit that we got charged for a comforter that got dirty

Convenient for work

This is an old outdated property. The management is in the process of extensive remodeling and hopefully this will be a nice property in the future. It is also in a location that is not easy to get to and that is a disadvantage.

Should have looked closer at other reviews! “Renovations” still in progress! Looking back it’s been more than a year. Free breakfast was one type of package muffins and package breakfast sandwiches. Only coffee, no juice. Pillows were hard and flat. Location was convenient for our stay but definitely would have gone to Wentzville instead.

Even though there was construction going on , there was trash on the outside by the door, the shower water pressure was really high. It felt like exfoliating your skin. The breakfast wasn't much some muffins and a coffee pot.

Property was under renovation and that information was not on the listing. This meant the breakfast was only coffee and a pre packaged muffin. Room had a unique and unpleasant odor. Ice machine only worked on one of the three floors.

much of the building was corded off with plastic dropcloth. A sign taped to the cash register apologized that the pool was being repaired, but the sign had obviously been there for a long time. "Breakfast" was either a cold muffin or cold breakfast sandwich that you could pop into the microwave. Having the word "luxury" in the name of this hotel is a real stretch of the imagination. Staff people were wonderful, but the accommodations were not.
