Great place stayed 2 nights and was very pleased

Room 217 was bad the carpet was pulled up in different places the closest mirror was broken no body wash for the shower had no spare pillow or blankets for pull out couch I’ve stayed in a lot of holiday inns by far the worst room I’ve ever had just won’t be going back to this area

I have stayed before and will NEVER stay here again after the experience I just had. I stayed on a Sunday night while in the area for Kings Dominion. It was hot, I left the park to go to my hotel room to relax for a bit and cool off, I arrived at 3:55pm, check in time starts at 3pm, only to be told it would be 15 minutes to get my room. I patiently wait in lobby for 40 minutes, ask again, and am told it is still not ready, and they can't provide an estimate. Several upset guests were waiting in lobby as well. The younger black woman at the desk was rude, ignored me at times, mumbled, and NEVER apologized for the delay, or showed any care or concern. I waited 1 hour and 45 minutes for my room, 2.5 hours after check in began, after calling Expedia, who told me the hotel hung up the phone on them 3x and ignored a 4th call when I reached out to them! I asked for a late check out to compensate and was told "we don't do that". Luckily a much nicer staff in morning gave me 30 mins extra. I had room 273 which was a king room with jetted tub. After all that time waiting, it was clean, but the shower gel was bone dry, and I had to ask for some at the desk. The room is dated but was fine overall. I will say there was excellent water pressure but drain is clogged. Only 1 elevator was working and I often had to use the stairs. Breakfast was a disaster too! Gross runny wet eggs, all 4 juices were blinking refill needed and were colored water, no cinnamon rolls, and NO PLATES! Sad!
