Card kept locking me out the room, pool was not available which is the main reason i reserved the motel. Breakfast....... some bread and cereal... really? Hallways were dirty, needs to be shampooed

Do not let the niceness of the furniture in the breakfast area fool you - the rest of the property is DISGUSTING. Smells of pot everywhere. Carpets in hallways covered in dirt and grime. Rooms are falling apart - peeling paint, cobwebs and bugs, and all the fixtures in the bathroom were falling apart. Fitness center does NOT look like the pics - no weights. Breakfast is basically cereal and stale bread. No coffee makers in the rooms. Everyone is smoking right outside the entrances. Also - fire alarm went off at 1am! Had to clear out into the freezing cold. Paper thin walls to rooms - could hear every word of the conversation from next door. Gross, gross, gross, even for Baymont standards.

Staff was okay. Housekeeping knocks on your door at 9am.. We’re on vacation. Who wants that? Told them no housekeeping today. She said okay. We leave for the day and come back to have had them go in our room anyways, and they took all our clean extra towels I had asked for. The tub was stained brown, shower head was nasty looking, and there’s holes in the ceiling. Even worse, I had to use my entire body weight to get my door to close correctly... The pool was closed, in the summer. Was not noted when booking and that was a reason I booked this place. Convenient location for my needs, nothing else impressed me.

This place is terrible. Pool was broken, tv didn’t work, ice machine was broken, and just about every single staff member was miserable. Brenda was a terrible staff member to work with, taking the frustration of other customers out on me. I’ve stayed in many hotels, this is the absolute worst.

I am torn about the stay. This is an old place and it has been through a number of owners. You could not see out the windows as the seals had let go. The pool has been out of commission for so long they have it printed on the contract when you sign in that you accept that the pool is broke. The pic has to go because that is false advertising. It was clean but run down. Doors did not close all the way, and there are holes where the chain had been torn from the door and not replaced cleanly. Oh and my room did not even have a side chair! Only place to sit was on the bed.

Room was dirty, out dated, cobwebs on light fixtures. TV was small for room size. 1 chair at desk but no other seating in the room. No real blanket on the bed, just a very thin decorative type comforter. Breakfast area was not very inviting. Most of the seating was stained and/or looked dirty.

Upon arrival, we were given superb, friendly, and fast customer service and check-in. Unfortunately, the room was filled with smell of cigarettes and humidity. The top sheets were stained with "human-like substance" and just felt cringy. Would I stay again? Probably not. Photos are not even close to the actual lodge (in not a positive way).

It was very dirty but it did the trick right next to the airport. I won’t stay again there was a sticky stain in the middle of the carpet and what looked like vomit on the shower curtain unfortunate but we were to late to find another hotel

Hotel Marijuana! If you like to smell marijuana all night, this is the hotel for you! Bathroom smelled like urine, bed coverings had cigarette burns on them. Bathroom looked incredibly worn with yellowing of the walls. There was 2 bags of trash on the floor in hallway when we came in and when we left in the morning, it was still there! Clearly no staff ever made rounds throughout the hotel.

Bed felt like it was about to break in one area. The faucet kept spraying all over the counter from the sink. If I didn't noticed I could have ruined my phone. The parking near my room was hard to find. I had to go through a different lot to find it. There were people having a drinking group outside in the parking lot. I didn't. My room was not great so I decided not to even see the pool area. They really need to renovate this property.

The window was foggy and needs to be replaced. When I first got there the floor in the room required a sweeping - there were crumbs on it. The next morning, the cleaning people did it at my request. Additionally, I was not given a receipt. I will call later.

Run down and under renovations. Check in was held due to change of shift?? Why change shift at the start of check-in? Arrived to an unfinished room??? Renovations. New platform bed with a cardboard mattress. No nightstands, vacant holes where we assume they will attach. Telephone on the floor. Why open rooms to guests when they are unfinished. I booked nearly 6 weeks in advance. Smelled of weed in the hallways. Poor choices Baymont.

The door for room 266 appeared to be open. But it wasn't the latch at the top screws were loose so I didn't feel safe/secure in the room. Trash outside of people's rooms. The bed in 266 was worn out deep dent in the middle very uncomfortable. Didn't stay long under those conditions. I wasn't interested in another room. I regret getting a non refundable room and wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Our room was not cleaned after our first night stay. We had to request clean towels at 11PM. Woman at desk said we had to come down for them. Staff at desk was always very curt when a question was asked.

No communication from staff. We were evacuated by fire alarms at 3:30 am and had to be outside for at least 30 minutes. Fire truck came but no one from staff explained what happened nor told us when we could go back unto the building. No smoke, no fire.

The front desk staff (lady) on Sunday morning was very rude and terrible, they need to be trained to be polite and respectful to customers. The cleaning staff are terrible. Baymont provides very limited basic amenities such as bathing soap and towels. My stay at Baymont for 2 night had nothing encouraging to ride home with. Worse experience. Thank you.

The staff went out of their way to make sure that my stay had everything I needed. When I travel, this is always my "go to" hotel. Every single member of the staff went beyond their duties to help me and they are always so nice about anything you may need!

I suppose you get what you pay for. The rate was good, but the check-in staff was rude. The grounds around the hotel are severely overgrown and unkept. Once in the room I was mostly fine, however it did smell weird. There was mold or something on all the baseboards in the bathroom, and I was on the ground floor and woke up at 2am to the police in the parking lot outside my window with their lights flashing.

When I made the reservation, I specifically checked off I would pay when I got to the hotel. They charged my cc at 3pm. The girl on the phone had the nerve to say I had to call before the check in time of 3pm if I didn't want my cc charged AND said I had to check in by 3pm! Who does that? I have stayed in MANY hotels and never had this happen. The outside of the hotel looked nice. Inside, was another story. The walls in the hallway had holes and paint missing. In the room, there was a foul odor, stains on the carpet and on the sheets, no cover and a dirty air conditioner, no blankets and a large spider and bugs flying around! The doors both had wood peeling off of them in large areas. I should've taken the reviews I read to heart. I'm sorry I didn't This was one of the worst hotels I have ever been to. Spend a little more money and stay somewhere else. I wish I had!

There were many positives: 1. Black out curtains. 2. Queen sized beds. 3. Refrigerator and microwave. 4. Good tasting water in the work out room from the water cooler. 5. We found the people working this hotel to be respectful and courteous. 6. Plenty of hot water for showers. 7. Breakfast is basic, with the highlight being the tasty waffles we made using their mini waffle maker. Our only complaint: 1. The upstairs hallway our room was located on and our room both smelled of a mixture of cigarette and pot smoke. It wasn’t overpowering and it didn’t effect our stay, but it was there. The hotel has you sign paperwork that you will be charged $150 fine if you smoke inside as a deterrent. Not sure it’s working.

Good things to say about hotel was the Staff were courteous,and friendly. Room was cleaned daily and clean towels were replenished and dirties removed which was nice. Problems I had were many. My key did not work to unlock door to fitness room. When I did get inside room was dirty. Floor needed vacuuming. Wall was slattered with something. Dirty cups layed in sink and on treadmill. This was at breakfast time. Breakfast was waffles, cold cereal, bread, and bagels. No spoons were supplied. Juice machine had watered down juices. Sitting was dirty. Room was clean. Refrigerator had 3 inch buildup of ice. Microwave was dirty. Hair dryer did not work. No coffee was suppied in room. No seating but desk chair. There was room for a chair but only empty space.

Breakfast was average at post. Would have loved some hard boiled eggs. There was NO fruit at all for the breakfast. When I filled my iron with water to iron a shirt, the iron leaked all over the place. Clearly, it had either been damaged or always defective from the start. I brought it to the front desk, they did not give me a replacement all the way did not ask for one at that time.
