The rooms have improved a lot since our last stay (2016) and we liked the new decor. The room was comfortable and very quiet. The location near the river and George St East Fremantle is amazing and we caught the bus into Fremantle twice. We loved the pool and the view of the river from the rooftop. The staff were very helpful and patient with us.

Room was better than we expected given the price. Pool and gym was good. Staff were generally friendly although we had to ask a couple of times to get the trundle bed that we required for our 3rd child. Breakfast was nice although the New Year’s Eve dinner that we booked wasn’t as good as expected

I loved that the driver Mark in the courtesy van knew so much about getting more than Freo, more so than the staff on the desk . We found out alot from him towards the end of our stay and would have been good if we found out earlier

Restaurant Food and staff were excellent. Pool area outdated and limited space also lacking shade- needs umbrellas. Palms were half dead and unsightly. Reception service slow and unfriendly. Only one small lift to rooms which can be problematic. Room had plumbing issues. Hotel falsely advertised they provide free transport into Fremantle. Over all considering the cost of our stay I would have expected better. Rating 6/10

Extremely disappointed upon arrival and checking into our family 2 bedroom apartment, it was dirty, the couch was filthy the room smelled like mould and the tiles in the shower were covered in mould .Requested to be moved to another room .. no rooms available.. staff were understanding and gave us a full refund.. Very disappointed have stayed before in a one bedroom apartment and loved it ..won’t be coming back .

Stayed 2 nights, as a behaviour specialist teaching 2autistic adults independence, the apartment was very underwhelming. A small frypan, a small saucepan, no oven but a dishwasher (?) stains over the carpet and sofa… makes teaching life skills very difficult. A few tissues in box so used our own, left with only 2 towels after it was clear that 4 adults were staying in the apartment…however the staff were absolutely lovely and tried their best, hotel very tired and needs a decent clean

Easy checkin and reception went out of their way to ensure our room was ready early, as we had driven 6 hours. Room was very clean and bed extremely comfortable. Loved the pump pack containers in the bathroom. Amenities top notch.

Room was dimly lit & overlooked car park, bathroom had mould in shower, room amenities were lacking I.e no shower cap with rain shower, so used plastic bin liner to make shower cap. Room was spacious, food in restaurant was good. No complimentary water in room. 2 complimentary drink vouchers for restaurant was a nice touch. Most worrying thing was there was a piece of clear plastic wrapping in our bed which leaves us wondering if bedding was fully changed!? Have photos of all.

This is a nice venue however the rooms are not sound proof. Unfortunately there were rowdy people staying next door also everytime someone walked past the room you heard their loud conversations and banging of their shoes on the path outside 😔 needlessly to say we weren't able to get any sleep until the wee hours.

The room was surprising, as entrance was outside of hotel but still private. Very noisy with kids above. Room was beautiful and clean but the pillows felt ridiculously high. Neither of us slept very well. It would have been nice if they had options in wardrobe. Also only two hangers in wardrobe. Basic accommodation but modern, spacious and clean. (No mimi bar)

Nicely renovated hotel. We had a river view suite. Separate large bedroom, large living & dining room & fully appointed kitchen. The views from the room were great. A bit noisy as directly on the main road. A couple of downsides: no door flap so the strong wind and rain was actually coming into the room. The walls to adjacent room are poorly insulated/sound proofed & we could hear tv movies and music very loud each time it was turned on. Split system didn't work but they fixed it when we asked. Overall a good stay and would recommend. Staff was great. Summer days would be amazing as it has a wonderful rooftop and a nice outdoor pool. Food from the restaurant was not bad.

The rooms are very spacious, clean and well presented. We had a room where the full flush on the toilet didn’t work and only half the shower head worked. Breakfast was a disaster. 35 minutes after ordering coffees and everyone around us getting coffees, our order had been lost. A second coffee order also lost a long black leading to one of us not receiving a coffee until well after we finished our meals. The staff kept justifying it as a back log instead of admitting they had forgotten them. One of the meals was served with the eggs cooked the wrong way after they asked how we wanted them coked but given how incompetent the staff were we didn’t even bother mentioning it.

Rooms were very small and pictures do not tell the full story. Also, our room was not serviced for two days. Hotel tried to tell us we were in an "Eco Room" that did not come with room service and it would cost us extra for the servicing. I queried this with Wotif who rang the hotel. We were then told, " Oh, sorry not sure which room we thought you were in". Staff were not very friendly and restaurant was overpriced for average quality food.

What a wonderful 2 night stay my wife and I had. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. We received a complimentary bottle of champagne as we were getting married during our stay. The breakfast was awesome and bar service superb. With the staff very helpful. A well situated hotel close to where we wanted. Clean and well worth the money. I will be staying there again soon and recommend it for couples and families as the pool is excellent.

Very well appointed room and good facilities. Comfortable stay. Kitchen area was well equipped but badly designed. Impossible to use sink without difficulty due to unnecessarily large fridge in full height cupboard blocking access. Room did not get serviced on either day despite specific request on second day. Restaurant food was poor standard.

We had an overnight stay. Only really slept in the room and had breakfast. The room was very spacious and modern with a huge and very comfortable bed. We had breakfast in restaurant which was reasonably priced and very good. Nice service from all the staff we met. Would definitely stay again.

Tradewinds is located in a great position. Loved the colours used inside and out. Loved the views. Very quiet in our room Didn’t like dinner menu. Very minimal choices. I ordered gnocchi and struggled to eat it. Desserts ordered were very ordinary and cost $40 for two.
