La Quinta Inn and Suites by Wyndham Cincinnati North

They were remodeling, so no elevator, very limited breakfast selection, and they still fully chargers for the room. Very disappointing and have sealed the deal for only staying at Marriotts in the future.

When we finally arrived, we were given a room that was on the 2nd floor the elevator that was out. I am disabled and it was pretty hard to get up the stairs. The bed was extremely hard and there was people running up-and-down the hallways and overhead in the rooms above us. Also, people were beating on the walls. So it was hard to sleep with all the noise. The rooms had been recently renovated, but the beds were hard.

Waited 15+ minutes for staff to show up at front desk to check in. Rang the bell multiple times and called. Property is currently under heavy construction, so I was trying to be as understanding as possible. Elevator was not working, due to construction. They were able to provide a room on the first floor that was a "pet friendly room". I was nervous it there would be a smell, but was surprised that it smelled clean. There was an almost overpowering smell of maybe a deodorizer. It was tolerable (and better than pet stench!). The room itself could have been a little cleaner. You could tell it doesn't get a deep clean often (corners, baseboards, etc). The main areas were very clean. They only had a continental breakfast due to the construction. I didn't even bother checking it out so I don't know how good it was. Overall, I was able to find this place quickly when another property overbooked their rooms and the price was reflective of all the construction hassles.
