The Haven

The Haven is a great B&B in Rothbury, ideal for a base to see Northumbria, Holy Island, Bamburgh Castle, Alnwick and the whole of the NE. The B&B has outstanding breakfasts, large rooms with suite like rooms with a sofa area, tv and large bathrooms! Great find! Rothbury is a great little large village/small town with ample restaurants, bars and pubs, shops and cafe’s! Nothing is too much for the owner and staff in the B&B and we will definitely be back soon!

A very nice hotel. Ian, the proprietor, welcomed me with tea and a scone. The room was comfortable and the breakfast could not have boin better. Plenty of choice. Entry is up some stone steps, but I was ableto drive up to the top to unload. The view fro. My window was iconic. Overlooking Rothbury, a quintessential English village. Reasonable rates. Whats not to love. Try it, you wont be disappointed.

Great location to explore the area from. Ian, the owner can’t do enough to help and the breakfast options are excellent. Absolutely would stay again.

Spacious, well equipped room with tea and cake offered on arrival in the guest lounge. So nice this guesthouse offers such hospitality. Friendly owners and great breakfasts. Although it's only a few minutes from the High St, you'd be hard pushed to find a quieter place to stay. Highly recommended.
