Private Lakefront Escape Swim Sip Wine Stargaze 25 Mins to Halifax

It was a beautiful cottage and an overall great stay. The only thing that was a bit of a challenge for us was the stairs leading to the cottage itself. We have some mobility concerns in our group, and because of this the property was a bit difficulty to access. There is no photo of the stairs on the listing, but there is about 6 sets to make your way down. Other than this, everything was great. The host was extremely responsive, very sweet, and the property had everything we needed and was beautiful.

Cozy cottage right on beautiful lake. The place was clean and had all the necessities for a comfortable stay. Excellent communication with the host.

Not great. Not the cleanest home, and rats came to the kitchen garbage the second night we were there. They made quite the mess, pulled bags of garbage completely out, chewed on everything. We were pretty disturbed so sent pictures to the owner and asked if we could leave for the 3rd night and get a refund. She assured us we could, but it has been over 10 days and no word on our refund yet.

My husband and I (plus our dog) enjoyed 5 nights at this beautiful spot. Had really good food options close by and it was a great spot to visit Halifax and Peggy’s Cove. Nice deck to sit out on and enjoy the area. Super peaceful. We had a lovely time.
