Cool property, but *badly* needs a refresh. Pros: The property is super cool and the exterior is beautiful. There are nice walkways, landscaping, a pond, cute little patios attached to the rooms, fire pits, great outdoor furniture. All of that is awesome. The room really needed a remodel. Badly. The room had been cleaned, but the furniture, linens and room itself were all so worn that it felt dirty. The bathroom was somewhat refreshed…had maybe a new counter and somewhat new-ish paint and floor tiles(?). But rust all around the fixtures and doorway. The older cast iron tub was chipped and worn, with stains an ld rust. Sediment buildup around the fixtures. The toilet was older and the plastic portions had yellowed with age. Towel racks were rusty…. Very over-used/washed scratchy towels. It was clean, but worn out. The rooms was worse. Old carpet with stains, old linens, flat/over-used pillows. Stale smell. The particle board laminate furniture was very worn and chipped, and looked very dirty. Trim around the chair was heavily chipped and worn. Bed was an older squeaky print mattress that has seen some miles. The worst was the two upholstered chairs - they were absolutely worn out and filthy. Almost gray/brown to the point where the pattern was no longer visible. Ancient appliances. And the whole rooms had the super cold/blue/white lights. So.. very cool property. Exterior is gorgeous. Room needed a remodel badly. I would 100% stay there again after refresh.

The food at the Woodside Grill was very good and I got there only 45 minutes before they close the kitchen so do you wanna give them kudos on that. The rooms are so so they’re very sparsely decorated and the lighting is like fluorescent lighting in the main part of the room, which is very unappealing air-conditioning worked great my room, the cold water side of the bathroom faucet leaked when you turned it on so it’s kind of leaking out all over the countertop that was very comfortable so all in all a decent day for a quick one nighter
