Close to Plymouth Hoe and not to far from city centre. Parking is not really possible on the roads. You have to use the public car park which is not cheap.

First the staff at this hotel were super helpful providing clear instructions for our late check in and ensured we knew we could contact them if we had any issues with check in. Free parking is limited but we found on street parking nearby. Location is nice and quiet, a couple minutes walk from Plymouth hoe which was lovely to go and grab some brekkie from in the morning with a nice view. Whilst we didn't feel the need to bring this to our attention, the room is dated especially the bathroom which is need of some tlc (sink is cracked and needs replacing, not just pollyfiller).

We enjoyed our stay. We hadn’t realised that there is no lift and we were on the highest floor so we will request a lower floor in future. The stairs are quite narrow and steep. My partner had to carry my case up for me. That said, the hotel is in a good location, with friendly staff and very substantial cooked-to-order-breakfasts. The room was a decent size and we did like the hotel.

Ok Expensive for what it was. Small room on 4th floor no lift, was not made aware of this at booking and with elderly mother she found the stairs hard. Shower did not work, broken. Parking very limited and could not reserve. Okay very basic

Good location near the Hoe and walkable to the City Centre. The hotel has limited parking but we were lucky to get the last free slot. There is lots of parking on the street but you have to pay, even for overnight. Breakfast was OK with prompt service.

Great value especially for single travellers. Rooms small but with everything you need. On street parking is £2.50 for after 9 pm until 9am. For those with limited mobility DO need to check location of room as there is no lift and we were on the 4th floor. We managed ok but wouldn’t want to climb stairs too often in 1 day! I would definitely recommend this hotel though, pleasant helpful staff. Room very clean and comfortable.

hotel. Rooms were clean. Staff were very welcoming. Parking outsude (paid) In a great pisition for The Hoe, Theatre Royal and city centre. Downside was our room was on 5th floor, no lift and stairs were very steep. Would stay again but only on the proviso we were on a lower floor (we are both the wtong side of 65 and struggled). Good choice of breakfast foods. I had french toast with fruit n maple sauce. Partner had the same next day but was only given one sliced strawberry and no blueberries - he was very disappointed.!

Very average for the price. No fridge, no air con, no lift. Stains on the mattress and bedding which was not a nice discovery. On top of that was charged for items we didn’t even use so had to argue our case. Will not be staying again

Shower cubicle needs a revamp and something to put soap, shampoo etc in Carpet looked a bit grubby Bed wasn't comfortable, too soft for me, guess may suit others There is a guest lounge/dining room complete with fridge & microwave, but the lady who checked me in didn't advise me about it. A bonus if you know about it!

Only thing was the rooms furniture was a little dated and the room was very dusty! I clean air b&b for a living so noticed these thing’s ! The staff were very welcoming/helpful. Breakfast was good with lots of options,so all in all we would stay again

I really enjoyed my stay at the Grosvenor. I appreciated its history and the two lounges had comfy seating. It was a few minutes walk away from The Hoe where I enjoyed strolling and sitting on the benches looking out onto the water. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, as was the bathroom. I loved the deep bath. The bed was comfortable and the blackout curtains made the room nice and dark for sleeping. Breakfast was delicious with many options. I highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel was such good value The room was clean and spacious. There were plenty of clean, white, fluffy towels and miniature toiletries. The reception contacted us to check arrival time and to see if we needed anything. The staff were so welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely stay again next time we're in Plymouth.

The staff we had interaction with were very friendly and helpful. Our room was upgraded at the property, not sure why. The rooms have no air conditioning which could be an issue with the weather recently and one of our towels had a stain. We had to park 2 streets over as it is very limited at the hotel.

We had a nights stay in the grand suite or the fancy room as the receptionist put. The room was lovely and spacious with a large bathroom with a free standing bath. A comfy four poster bed lovely which aided a good night sleep. Staff were friendly and very accomodating.

I rarely write reviews, but the service at this hotel was exceptional and deserves recognition. An issue with the booking - not their fault at all - was swiftly and calmly dealt with by a lovely member of staff - unfortunately I didn’t get her name - but she went the extra mile to ensure that I wasn’t disappointed. And I wasn’t. The room was lovely, and spotlessly clean. Every other member of staff I met showed the same smiling, happy, can-do attitude. Nothing appeared to be too much trouble. I highly recommend this hotel and really hope that I have an opportunity to stay there again in the future.

Well located and good value for money hotel with easy access to the waterfront and marina areas. Comfortable enough beds in well proportioned rooms. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good and sets you up for the day. Parking may be an issue but i was able to find a space (payable) close to the hotel.

The Grosvenor Plymouth provides a clean, comfortable lodgings with an excellent breakfast. Just a short walk from the Plymouth harbour and a short taxi ride from the train station, the Grosvenor proved to be a wonderful location for our stay.

The staff received us warmly and provided all the necessary information. The location of the hotel is just great. Close to Plymouth Sound one can have nice walks and a good choice of small restaurants directly at the seaside. Absolutely recommendable.

Second stay at this lovely independent hotel. Even better than the first stay as no issue with a squeaky bed this time and everything else was as good as before. Great location near The Hoe and a short walk down to the city centre. Brought my car this time and parking was no problem. All staff, both on reception and at breakfast were happy and smiling, which costs nothing but makes a big difference. Look forward to returning.

Everything was good, apart from the coffee at breakfast. Investing in a good coffee machine with decent coffee beans would be a big improvement (I couldn't drink the coffee). Also provide some small espresso cups which many foreign guests would prefer. Despite this small complaint, I would recommend the Hotel. Nioce people, great location, good value.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Grosvenor. I appreciated its history and the two lounges had comfy seating. It was a few minutes walk away from The Hoe where I enjoyed strolling and sitting on the benches looking out onto the water. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, as was the bathroom. I loved the deep bath. The bed was comfortable and the blackout curtains made the room nice and dark for sleeping. Breakfast was delicious with many options. I highly recommend this hotel.

We had a nights stay in the grand suite or the fancy room as the receptionist put. The room was lovely and spacious with a large bathroom with a free standing bath. A comfy four poster bed lovely which aided a good night sleep. Staff were friendly and very accomodating.

Rommet hadde grei størrelse for ei natt for oss fem. Kjekt med bord og stoler, og eget kjøleskap. Kjedelig at hotels.com skriver at de har frokost. Det har de ikke for tiden. Hyggelig personale.

Paid for superior room, but got put into a standard room because system is misidentifying room 37 as superior. Moved to room 6 on raising. Mis-advertising all over the place, including on Hotels.com and on signs outside that breakfast is available - when it is not. Room not very clean, dust on surfaces, chair had something unidentifiable stuck to it. Only one bathtowel between two. Room not cleaned/ made up during stay, although bizarrely teabags but not milk replaced - but nothing else done. Furniture etc generally tired/ worn and a bit tatty. Staff member came in and complained about pay to reception while we were there. Feels like the place is on its last legs. However bed comfy and location good.
