Very cool property in the middle of nowhere. Not convenient to other restaurants or shops. Beautiful area though. Interesting restaurant and breakfast is included. They are very focused on reducing waste so portions are small intentionally. Breakfast is the same requiring you preorder which is a bit of a pain. However the room we were in was very well equipped with a small fridge and kitchenette so I'd bring snacks. We were in the Besseggen suite. It was great except it was at the top of VERY narrow stairs which my poor husband had to haul our huge cruise suitcases up. Also I had to scoot the bed over so that the folding doors to the bathroom could open. As long as you're aware of the unusual nature of the hotel you'll have a great time

Liked the dining experience here and the outdoor areas. Unfortunately, my back didn’t like the bed.

Absolutely Wonderful ❤️ A magical experience with down to earth hosts that understand the true nature of what hospitality means, and presents exceptional experiences for guests. We really needed the break from a long trip to a pure relaxed state within driving up the driveway surrounded by nature. We enjoyed every moment from the hot tub experience to a wonderful hist Marco who takes you not only on a culinary journey but also a personal journey of how he became the first boutique hotel in Norway. An experience to remember and take away knowing you have been well looked after. The food journey was incredible with a personal touch of pure passion for what he does, giving a true experience. Recommendations Fully recommended Its a one in a million experience where you get to indulge yourself in a beautiful natural surrounding with nature, incredible staff and a culinary journey to take your heart away Thank you to everyone, the staff who are amazing souls too. #garystribe #localguide #localguides #letsguide #norway #boutiquehotels

Wow, wow, wow. What a fantastic boutique hotel. Every single detail is carefully planned and executed - nothing is left to coincidences. The room, the surroundings, the food (dinner as well as breakfast) is top quality.
