Lovely lake-side setting - very peaceful. Reception organised a kayak tour for me, which was good fun. I'd an issue with the TV, and the hotel Technician was at my room within 5 minutes of me mentioning it. He determined it was broken, and brought a new one and installed it within 30 minutes. Had breakfast, lunch and dinner at the on-site restaurant, and all were lovely meals. The restaurant team were also very helpful - one noticed that I'd started some toast while I took my plate of food to my table, and so she stepped in, collected some butter and jam, and added my toast to a plate which she brought it over to the table for me. Attentive and helpful. The pool was also lovely and warm.

Place is good but needs proper maintenance.There were no amenities in spite of have good tennis and shuttle courts it’s poorly maintained The staff can’t communicate much in English neither did they help in any bookings of house boat

We went there a year ago and since then it’s taken a turn towards the worse. Change of management perhaps? Or overworked personnel? First the rooms are dark and uncomfortable and don’t keep the humidity out, so didn’t really sleep. Our mission became trying to stay away from the property as much as possible. I got free electro therapy trying to turn on the bedroom light. The showers have snails and lizards. Slow responses from personell in restaurant (which only serves buffets now - last year was à la carte). If I’d pay about half I maybe would’ve expected something similar. But a premium price needs a premium stay. And it was far away from that.
