The hotel is located next door to a bar and you don’t feel safe leaving your car outside in the small parking lot. The beds having hard mattresses and it’s hard to sleep at night you could also hear the cars driving by at night. Swimming is extremely small and water is cold.

Stayed 2 nights on a stop thru the area for vacation. First room we were given wasn't exactly what it looked like on the Expedia website but the front desk staff was awesome and took care of us and got us moved to a bigger room no charge. It was super clean and comfortable and the AC was cold. Exactly what we needed for the 2 days we were there (we were on the move alot and just needed a nice place to sleep each night). Pool was small but nice. Area was busy (we had the side of the hotel facing the busy street), but felt safe and we had no issues. Given the affordability of the place, would stay again with no issues!

You get what you paid for. Tiny pool, 8 people max, no access to the pool after 8pm. Only coffee is available in the morning. Our room had a dirty freezer. The bathroom light does not turn off so it stayed on all night with the vent. I requested extra towels but they do not like providing extra.

Large rooms or above average spacious rooms. Please Note: Very Important The elevator is not working and its not the first time this has happened. I booked a great rate on the internet. My penalty for this was 4th floor room available only.. use stairs. Its about 50 stairs and we were totally gassed out bynthe time we got to the room.. it was horrible up down 4 flights everytime we left room.

The property was fine - limited parking available. It did share a lot with a few convenience stores, so it made parking a bit tricky. Good spot to stop if you just need to sleep, but if you’re looking for amazing amenities, this won’t be your spot. The AC worked well and I slept fine. There is a bit of road noise, but it put me right to sleep. The staff were pleasant and efficient.

There’s no place to eat for a mile. next-door is a topless bar and a tattoo shop and a liquor store all of which are open very late. That is what you’ll hear at night and the traffic. the carpet in the bedroom in the room so dirty my feet were black after walking around barefoot for an hour. I have not received my two deposits back yet. The bottom of the curtains were so filthy. The noise from the outside is crazy. It just wasn’t a good experience. the toilets don’t flush properly . outside my door the wood post holding up the roof is riddled with termites eating through that wood. there’s a reason why the photograph of the hotel was taken at night. I saw so many guests checking in and just staring at the building likely noticing that it certainly looked nothing like the photos online. Just Wait until their feet turn black from the filthy carpet. In Franchised hotels the owners just don’t seam to care and if no one checking in on these independent hotels to be sure that the building is safe and clean then they’ll squeeze by with the minimum of what it should be in comfort dnd cleanliness.

As per photo - spotlessly clean. Has been remodeled, nothing fancy, but huge rooms, clean baths, comfortable bed. AC works. If you are looking for a comfortable and economical stay - this is the place.

The carpet was extremely dirty. Walking around barefoot made my feet black. The shower head had a plate that kept calling and made me feel like something might crawl out of there. The television sucked. So hard to find programs. Never was able to use the wifi.

No amount of Fabreeze can mask the stench of old and stained carpets. It almost felt like your shoes were going to get glued to it! I would not recommend walking barefoot. Had to sleep with the AC blasting all night because the smell of the room freshner was so overwhelming. Room was very run down, with visible sticky stains on the doors, peeling paint etc.

The hotel was probably converted from a motel. The walkway shows its age. Our room looked very clean but my wife noticed dirt marks on her feet while walkig around our room. Our bed was nice but the air conditioner was noisy and kept blowing cool air to our bed. We coud not change the direction of the air flow. We noticed that the soap in the bathroom and the shampoo/conditioner combo were practically the same.

Carpet was not in the best shape overall but room was clean, bathroom was clean shower head was very short not great for anyone tall. Ac was great. Had vending machines on property and an Ice machine. Overall nice small hotel in good location close to lots of shops and quick freeway access.

Not sure why this was given such a high rating. It wasn't terrible, but only a half step up from a budget, economy, no frills, cheap motor lodge. It seems like they spent a bit of money on a few aesthetics like signs, soap dispensers, and the lobby, but not on towels, sheets, and soap (our dispenser was empty). The worst part was the road noise. It's right on a main street, and there was car and motorcycle noise until around 3 am. The staff was polite and helpful, but the motel itself needs some serious attention. Free parking was nice, and it's close to a lot of shops.

First , the receptionist morning shift ( owner ) was so friendly and very helpful. He made sure if we needed something , we got it . Rooms were cleaned staff was great . Air conditioning worked great as well . Enough parking . Pool area not too big but we made it work . The kids loved the pool . Everything was just great with this hotel . Would definitely recommend it and would definitely stay again. Hotel 39 in westminster ca .

The clerk did his best to refuse to check me in. He lacked cultrual awareness and sensitivity. I use the diminuitive of my name i.e. Kathy for Katherine, he tried to deny my reservation when I gave my name saying it didn't match. Thankfully I had a copy of my reservation to show him after three refusals to check me in. He said my ID didn't match, after seeing my credit card with the dimiuitive he grudgingly told me he would check me in this time. He had a terrible attitude and demeanor. Additionally the elevator was out of service, unacceptable. No one was working to repair the elevator. I had a few bags, lots of materials for work so lugging everything up and down two flights of stairs with a bum knee was a struggle. The last time I stayed here was so wonderful but this time was such a turn off. They should have offered to pay for an alternate hotel with the elevator out of service. I'm not sure I will return to this hotel. I usually have tour in the area twice a year and really liked it the last time I was here.

The worst front desk experience I’ve ever had. The person attending was extremely rude and uneducated. He rudely demanded a $150 deposit and refused to accept my Visa card because it was from a foreign country. I had to go to an ATM to get cash at 11 pm.

Smooth check in by a lovely gentleman with a sense of humor. Frantic check out, I woke up a little dizzy with a big headache so was slow getting my things together to checkout. The wonderful gentleman at the front desk was very kind and gave me extra time to get my things out at no additional charge. I was about half an hour late and very much appreciated his gentleness and kindness. I am sorry not to have noted the names of the two gentlemen. I hope the management will check the work schedules to identify them and place good letters in their files. The rooms had a microwave and mini fridge, motion sensor lights in the bathroom, a very comfy bed, easy to work climate control and double panes windows minimizing the traffic noise. Both the shower and bathroom sink areas had wall dispensers for the soap, shampoo/conditioner. The pool had a lift for handicap access. The lobby had hot water, tea bags and coffee. The location is easy access to shopping, eateries and the 405 freeway. I usually come to this area twice a year for a meeting. I’m now glad to know where I will always stay.

When I left an ítem after my stay I contacted the hotel to see if the ítem was still there. The manager of the hotel was very helpful and I was able to get my lost ítem back. Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Got a room last minute, Good value for the price paid, king room was spacious. The front desk was friendly and helpful with my needs. Free Coffe or tea in front desk lobby. There are plenty of food options and a bar in walking distance. Free parking. Just make sure to pare where no car is reversing towards your vehicle. Park right in front of lobby. Would stay here again if in area.

My third time staying. For the price, for what it is, it was sufficiently clean and comfortable. Room was big. Coffee in lobby was surprisingly pretty good, also with tea options. I really like the location, the Vietnamese restaurants across the street. The really nice outdoor mall close by. Some places aren't worth staying if they were free. Hotel 39 can be a very decent value.
