Steve, Kerry and all the staff were very welcoming and accommodating. Lovely and clean. Comfy bed. Cracking breakfast. Easy private access for returning late when pub is closed. What more could you ask for 😊

Rooms were comfortable and the area was quiet. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Only drawback was the limited parking space at the hotel, especially on a busy night. Side road was also often full.

Great pub with 4 rooms in Eckington. Check-in was easy at the bar. The room was nice, bed huge and bathroom clean and functional. The room could benefit from having blackout curtains fitted. However that's the only criticism. We ate dinner in the pub and it was high-end pubfood - delicious too! All the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The major problem was the discrepancy between expedia booking confirmation (booking in from 1pm), and the property email which I was unaware of, stating the venue is closed until 6pm. Property condition was poor, with quite a smell from the en suite bathroom. The electric shower was very difficult to control. Staff were helpful and breakfast was good.

Although we did not have an evening meal, the food on offer sounded delicious. Breakfast choices however were limited but nicely cooked. Property was a little tired in places but perfectly functional and both the lady who greeted us upon arrival and the cook who served us breakfast were very friendly and welcoming.

Excellent stay within easy reach of our location for the following day. Room was comfortable and clean with the Bell Inn situated in a lovely village. Food was very good with good gluten free options for my wife. Staff were very polite and helpful

We had a very pleasant stay. A last minute booking. The evening meal was very enjoyable and a good breakfast. The room was small but adequate for a one night stay. We would book again returning to the area.

It was a place to put your head down but unfortunately that is all it was. The bed was by far the worst I have slept on in a very long time. I think you need to replace all the beds, this is a huge focus for hotels and was overlooked here.

Another v good visit to the Bell. Small room but perfectly suitable for my needs. Very nice breakfast. Slightly disappointed Sunday roast menu had finished when I arrived early evening, but good that the full menu was available till 8.00pm

Was good for price and had own restaurant. Expedia states check-in after 1pm, must check though because that not correct. Room was ok but 2 double glazed windows in room blown and window curtains made closing ensuite door awkward. Electric shower not simple to use and no instructions.

Enjoyed a one night stay in the lovely village of Eckington.The area has many lovely walks and gardens to visit, Croome being one of the closest. The folder at the hotel gave clear details. The room was quite small but the bed was comfortable and the duvet wonderful. The room would have benefited from having a chair. The freshly cooked breakfast was very good!

A superb choice within easy travel distance of the Upton Blues Festival - our main reason for staying. Exceptionally friendly, very welcoming, very cosy and great food (breakfasts were superb and huge!). Will be staying there again. Thanks to everyone for giving us a great 3 days - and making the washed out (pouring with rain!) Saturday totally enjoyable at your place!

Very nice modern pub in a very nice village not far from the motorway . The food is excellent with a good breakfast. Free parking on site.

Great pub with 4 rooms in Eckington. Check-in was easy at the bar. The room was nice, bed huge and bathroom clean and functional. The room could benefit from having blackout curtains fitted. However that's the only criticism. We ate dinner in the pub and it was high-end pubfood - delicious too! All the staff were very friendly and helpful.

A great find. The staff were very friendly, room very comfortable with a massive bed and best of all a bath! As someone who only has a shower at home a bath is a real pleasure. Breakfast was freshly cooked, plentiful and delicious as was the meal I had in the evening.

Our room was very comfy, very clean and looked freshly decorated. The food was fantastic. We arrived early and had such a good lunch we came back with family for a meal in the evening. The full breakfast was great too.

It was very disappointing to find that food had stopped being served at 7pm. We arrived at 7.10pm and told no food was available but we could buy crisp etc. After a very long journey, this was obviously not adequate. Due to the location there was no other facility selling hot food nearby. The hotel closed its bar at 9pm which again was quite disappointing and the following morning the entrance to the area serving breakfast was locked. I contacted staff via a contact number available and was told the chef hadn’t turned up and they were concerned. I found out from another guest that they had been provided with a poor pre packed meal of cake and a drink, having been told that no hot breakfast was available on a Monday morning unless it was a bank holiday. This should have been highlighted at the time of us booking bed and breakfast. We were eventually offered a cooked breakfast but dues to the delay, opted for a bacon sandwich. All in all this was our fourth stay at this hotel and have to say that the standard of service fell well below of what we have received in the past.
