I've been staying here once about every two months since 2005. I deliver to Mnt. Vernon and Sroggins regularly. I've never had any problems. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The renovations are great. Me and coworkers are thankful for the truck parking in the back and restaurants in walking distance. The security cameras are a bonus.

This was our worse experience ever at a Super8. 1st room/ no chain on door & the door wouldn't lock. Moved to another room- still no chain but it did lock. Although the door was in terrible condition. I have pictures. Sticky stuff on plastic cups - went to office for more - received cups with holes on bottom. Powered Coffee creamer was solidified, I also have pictures of this. The showers dripped all night, dripping when we arrived. Outlet near table - non functional. Vending outside - rusted & non functional. We will never stay at a motel again.

I’m a truck driver. I called prior to getting there. They said park in the back gravel lot so I swung around maybe U-turn and had myself set up perfectly to leave in the morning took me about 15 minutes to get my self organized to go get checked in and out right when I’m walking out of the truck he ran up telling me, I can’t park where I’ve parked, not politely either. I explained to him you could be nice about it . But he didn’t want to hear that . so I echoed his attitude back to him when I went and checked in he got nasty with me and told me That he was the owner and I said great. I’m the customer and you should treat me with respect. He said “I don’t care about customers”. just another unfriendly Patel in the hotel business.

I wanted a ground level room ant there was literally 3-4 rooms occupied but they put me on the second floor because I booked expedia and that was the rooms they had available. It was clean and everything worked . Everything was functional and it smelled clean. The parking lot was well lighted and very convenient to go in to town or to the Highway.

Because of how the building is oriented, there are no rooms here that are shielded from the traffic noise on the interstate. Also, I'd forgotten toothpaste. When I asked the front desk if I could get one, they said they don't keep extra items like this. If you just need a place to crash and don't mind all night traffic noise, it's okay.

Where do I begin? The stay was awful! The only positive thing is the location, and the friendliness of the check-in clerk. Otherwise it was just terrible. The “non-smoking” room smelled of old stale smoke. The room was dirty. There was a partial opened package on the floor in the bathroom. The towels were stained, as was the chair. There was barely a sliver of soap available to shower with. The bed was so hard, the floor would have been better. I have a serious backache from sleeping on it. And I am not elderly, or a normal complainer. There wasn’t enough covering on the bed, either. There were bugs crawling around on the ceiling above the light. There was bird poop all around the outside door. I could go on. The only reason I gave a one star review is because zero wasn’t available.

We scheduled 2 rooms to be used for 2 nights. In 1 room the curtains had black mold on them and affected the breathing of the people in that room. The next night 1 of the people went elsewhere. The other person that didn't have a choice but to stay in that room had a cockroach in the bed when he turned the sheets back. Doubtful we will ever use this hotel again.

Found a short black curly hair in bed when pulled back top sheet....let front desk know,they brought me a new sheet and tried to say oh it must have fallen from housekeeping. Ummm......I work as a house keeper and have never had my hair fall out onto a bed that I have made up.

It is an older building, but they do their best to keep the rooms and area clean. There are no real amenities, but they are friendly and responsive in the office. It served my purposes well to meet my needs that trip.

This is a very comfortable and secure place to stay. I checked in about 9:30 in the evening and the reception staff put me in a downstairs room close to the office. That is perfect for an old lady traveling alone. I love the comfy bed and soft pillows. Not my first time to stay here. I love to eat at the Huddle House next door.

Overall a good place to stay in the Mt Vernon area. Breakfast is nothing fancy but is good enough for a quick eat and run. Rooms comfortable and clean and A/C is very good! Only complaint is the smell of the disinfectant cleaner that is used in the rooms as it was overpowering.

We were denied a room, due to no electricity. We were never notified and drove 6 hours to the property. After arriving to check in, there was a sign posted on door stating “No Room; No Electricity.” We were not met by any employee to inform us and discuss how we would be refunded, since the money had already been deducted. I refuse to believe there was no way to contact me to let me know the situation, with email being accessible via phone or other easily accessible means.

We love to stay at this Super 8 Motel, because the staff is always very nice. This last stay l was unable to get door opened & l turned to go to the office and there was the staff member saying he was the watching the monitor and came right away.. WoW now that is excellence in Customer Care. They cared about as if we were the only customers that ever assisted! The owners are wonderful!!

I liked the quietness & location. Did not like a couple of guys outside between 2 -5 talking louder than normal & woke me up twice.. I was nice & did not bother them or say anything to provoke ill feelings.
