The TV and internet did not work properly. They sent a maintenance man who could not fix it. A fire alarm went off at 1:00 am and did not shut off until 1:30 am. I requested a quiet room and was given one right near the lobby so heard noise from water park and doors slamming close by at 5:30 am. I knew they did not include breakfast but at check in no one told me free coffee in lobby at 7. I should get a partial refund for the inconvenience of things not working. The gentleman Tim who checked us in was very nice. So was Kathy who worked at the coffee shop. Also Justin our waiter in restaurant was very attentive.

Location for Starved Rock makes it a great option. The water park is awesome. The mini golf course is pretty, even if the course is a little rough. The arcade is nice. The lack of free water to drink was a bit annoying. The food there was good. Staff was great.

This place is very run down, will not let you check in early or use pool until 4pm. Reservations told me what room we were in, and maid said our room was ready, at 2:30 front desk said our room was not done. To come back at 4. No lifeguards on a Monday. No wave pool or water park features unless a weekend. Kids running up and down halls until midnight. My kids feet got dirty from our hotel room carpet.
