The property was close to our wedding venue. We arrived in the middle of massive construction. The property appeared to be closed when we arrived with chain link fence around the entrance. Piles of debris in the parking areas and no discernible signage to direct to the office, We nearly left thinking they were demolishing the building. I peaked in a window and found that the check in desk was open and we checked in. At 6:00 am the next morning we were awakened by very loud beeping alarms and then severe pounding coming from the roof directly over our room. I thought they were again demolishing the building as we raced out of the room and into the hall ways. It turned out to be construction equipment and heavy sledge hammers being used on the roof. The noise and chaos continued for our entire four day stay. We were told the construction would not happen again on the first day but it went on all weekend.

Room was nice and clean. Breakfast aas good. Area around property was being worked on, cell tower. Pool was dirty and area around pool could have been nicer. We had a decent stay. Town of Clinton is quaint and nice to walk around. Csn't get to town safely from hotel but it is close to hotel. Cracker Barrel is within walking distance.

Getting to the hotel was very difficult. There was construction staff could not tell us how to get around it. The police officer who was assigned to the construction was unable to assist. It took us an extra hour to get to the hotel because of a lack of information to help us with a detour. Once we got to the hotel there was also construction. It took us a while to find our way around the hotel. Due to the construction we could not use the regular enterance. We had to find a side door. Because of the construction the side doors were left unlocked all night which is Union the morning there was construction on the roof of the hotel. It was loud and woke us up. It was not a good stay. The staff was nice and did the best they could under the circumstances.

Terrible almost unediable breakfast, firm alarm in the night which the police say is a common occurence with this hotel and false alarms, our room was setup for handicap access with a tv setup with voice over with no way to change, the pool was closed due to a tiny amount of rain that day, people smoking weed all day and night in a non-smoking rooms beside us, loud yelling throughout the nights, I could go on and on. We didnt sleep well at all and wouldve been better off sleeping outside in the woods...

Great pool! Nice comp breakfast with indoor and outdoor patio seating. Easy to get to and you can walk next door to Cracker barrel. Walmart and many stores nearby. Comfortable and clean room. Will definitely stay here again!

Check in staff were extremely friendly. Rooms had areas that were poorly cleaned and areas that looked like it may have been a while since they were last cleaned (floor behind door in bathroom). Breakfast was on the better side of average. Good varity and tasted good. Rooms were not outdated. The curtains blocked put nearly all morning light which is super important to me. Overall I would go here again.

The rooms didnt seem thoroughly cleaned and the beds were very uncomfortable. They also couldn't program both keys for the door and never came back to retry. The keys also didnt work on the entry doors outside which was very inconvenient. We were to stay 2 nights but we left after 1. I do not recommend this place.

This hotel is in desperate need of a facelift. Paint is peeling, rugs are threadbare & stained, and there was a random French fry under the table in our room that I noticed on the 3rd day! (No we did not eat fries at all during our stay). The worst part was the smell on the “smoking optional” floor where we were assigned. We asked for a non-smoking room but that didn’t prevent anyone else from smoking (all sorts of things) in the rooms near ours. Yuck no not recommend.

Checked in late at night and was very tired. After reaching the room along with all the luggage, found the bathroom was not clean. It had hair on the floor - possibly from a pet who stayed in the room previously. On the floor in one room there were a couple of dogs that were barking. Overall the stay was not satisfactory. Could not change the room at night because we were very tired.

Had to stay here for 4 nights for a sports tournament otherwise we would’ve left after the first night. They asked if we wanted a non-smoking room. Of course we did. Does anyone actually want a smoking room these days? Yes, apparently. We learned after checking in that the 4th floor is a smoking floor. We stepped out of the elevator and were immediately hit with the smell of weed. Admittedly our room didn’t smell too bad but the entire floor just stunk. On top of that, everything is just old, tired, and cheap. The bathroom wallpaper is peeling. The pillows are wonky and the bedding is scratchy. The fridge froze all our food. The AC was deafeningly loud. The laundry is coin-operated but they didn’t have enough change for me at the front desk. We needed extra towels and were told we must return our dirty towels to the front desk first. (??). Housekeeping comes every other day and on one visit didn’t even make one of the beds. The breakfast was fine for teenage boys but lacked anything fresh or healthy. Worst of all, the coffee was weak. Keep in mind we stay in a lot of similarly priced 3 star hotels when traveling with this team so we aren’t expecting the Ritz but unfortunately this one was substantially disappointing. One positive is that the staff are very nice, friendly, and hard-working.

Dumpster emptying in the middle of the night was so noisy for so long, we were completely awake and could not get back to sleep. ridiculous that this is done in the parking lot outside the bedrooms at that hour. long drive the next day was a nightmare. never again.

Came for a little get away, weather was great, hotel is nice gym, pool, free breakfast all good. But what, upset me was I didn’t get the room I paid extra for. Make sure you get what you paid for. I paid for couch bed in the room, got a chair and was told all the rooms were sold out. So nothing nobody could do for me.

Horrendous check in!! Rooms not clean or ready at 3pm check in. Lobby full of people waiting for room. Chaos! We left and came back at 8pm to get a room!! Terrible service and experience!!!!!!

I was not happy with the check-in policy as I had to pay for the room twice. I had made a guaranteed reservation on 2/23 for check-out on 2/24. I arrived in the morning on 2/24 and was told that I was a "no show" even thought I had a guaranteed paid reservation. I had to make another reservation and was double-charged for the room.

The staff at this place was rude, inconsiderate, unprofessional and ignorant of how to do their jobs. I was yelled at by their breakfast person, snapped at by others. They over-charged me on a pet fee and told me it was my fault for using expedia. I have never in all my years encpountered a staff more incompetent, and more diresepctful of a staying guest. I will never stay here again, nor at any Hamton Inn anywhere.

Unkempt grounds, rust stain running down the shower wall, but the worst was the seemingly incompetent overnight staff that issued a key card to out already occupied room. Someone walked in on my wife and kids. We had trouble with the key cards daily.

Hmmm how was our stay? I'm not sure because never got to stay! We're attending a Halloween party close by. Had our costumes ready to go. Arrive and we're told our reservation was canceled. That's funny cause not only didnt anyone tell us but just an hour earlier i was getting emails confirming my stay. Of course hotel blamed it on Hotels com. Listen its ok we got canceled. It happens... but to not get any notice!! Thank goodness it was only a 45 minute drive.

My family was put in a room and then the staff assigned the same room 2 more times. A guy walked in when my son was changing for the pool and then the second time we were sleeping and 3 girls tried getting in. The front desk handed out keys to my room! The wifi would not work and we had to get a special code. Then our keys wouldn't eork because they kept giving new room keys out. I was not happy and my little kids were upset!

We stayed here one year ago on our way to the Manhattan cruise port. We took the same Cruise again, they were accommodating keeping us on the first floor since I don't take elevators. They have snacks for sale at the front desk including Ben & Jerry's ice cream etc. Both times great staff, personable and nice place to stay. There's a cracker barrel and the adjoining parking lot and a Walmart as well as many other stores within walking distance

This is our go-to when we are headed to NYC. Staying in Clinton allows us to time our arrival in the Upper West Side to score free parking. We have stayed here a number of times, and really have come to love the town. There are good restaurants, shops, and interesting things to see. The Hampton Inn has what we need, is clean and convenient.

So expedia messed up my reservation. They didn't have a room immediately so I had to wait. I had a concert and was gross. We needed to shower. The water temperature kept fluctuating and I byrnt myself while showering. Breakfast the next morning was not stocked and cold. Overall I wouldst recommend.

The good: quick, friendly check in, clean sheets, soft pillows, the outside pool was clean, the staff was friendly and accommodating. The bad: The a/c wasn’t working in the lobby, the alarm clock in the room was broken, the mattress was lumpy, the ‘non-smoking’ room smelled like old cigarettes, the waffle batter was sour, one of the two waffle makers was broken.

Check in was easy and clerk was pleasant. Room was clean. It’s a smoke free facility, but several people were smoking (not just cigarettes) outside and the smell was brought inside. Our room was fine though. Breakfast was terrible. Serving starts at 6:00 and we went down at 7:00 and only bacon and a few bagels, and old fruit were left. We waited a while thinking servings would be refilled, but finally left and went to the Cracker Barrel next door.
