Only amenities that were available were the pools and they were dirty. Lazy River and everything else shut down. No towels by the pool and no toilet paper either. WiFi didn’t work and service was overall not good.

Impressive resort with many pools, lazy river, easy access to to the lake for your own boat or rentals. More elevators would be nice, 4 currently with 1 out of order. The only destination charging for vehicles was in valet only which is $35/night.

The lazy river was a huge disappointment and it was the main reason we chose this resort. It was dirty slow (no movement) and too narrow! Because of this I may not return which is disappointing!

This resort is very nice, clean and everyone was very friendly. The lake view from our room was beautiful! My only dislike was the self parking. Once the first parking lot filled, the overflow parking was about a half mile away. I just felt like the young men running around on the golf carts could have shuttled guests back to the resort instead just driving by everyone. I know there is valet, but not everyone who stays there wants to pay the extra fee for it. Other than that, the resort is excellent!

The property was ok. The staff at the pool area was not informed correctly. The guy tried to make me pay for a day pass, tho I was staying at the property. So these staff memebers were not trained correctly. The lazy river was warm, that could not be helped because of the weather. But it was dirty, like the chemicals were not being used correctly. Hot is one thing, dirty is not acceptable.

Overall my kids had fun which was the main thing. There’s 3 pools, an arcade area, splash pad, and you can rent boats/jet skis etc. Cautious that the price you pay for your room won’t be the price you pay when you walk out- there’s an additional resort fee and two different types of taxes which results in over $100 extra per day in your stay. There’s 2 restaurants on the property which is convenient but they’re expensive and not great for the price you pay. The grounds/facilities look worn down where the pools/splash pad are. Also the waterpark isn’t really a waterpark, more like a splash pad with a small slide. They don’t service your room daily and if you want them to you have to ask. Overall, my kids had fun, but for the price we paid at checkout, I would stay somewhere else next time.

First time visiting, & will definitely come back. We absolutely loved the property & the amazing views of the lake surrounding it. Loved all the pools & lazy river. Perfect sized property for us to enjoy worry free with having boys ages 4 & 7. Only negative I can say is more than half the games in the arcade were down, so that was a bummer.

We were to check in at 4 and our room was not ready until 6. One of the 3 elevators was not working, which caused major delay in getting around the hotel timely. You didn't have much choice but to pay for valet parking.

I will start with the positives first. The food was great and reasonably priced, the staff there are very friendly. All of the pools area are nice and well maintained and they really do a great job of catering to families with small kids and as well as adults. The lobby is very clean and it smells amazing so they do a very good job of keeping the common areas clean but that is where the cleanliness ends. Our room wasn’t clean at all, the carpet in the living room area was filthy. There was old stains on the carpet and the couch as well. There were spiders and old spider webs in the corner of the rooms and gnats and bugs. The balcony was so gross. There was dead bugs, spider web and dirt everywhere. It looks like they have never bothered to power wash the balconies at all. You pay a $45 daily resort fee but there are no real perks, they also do not clean your room daily unless you request it but considering the resort fee this should be automatically done. Although I appreciate the size of the bathrooms mine wasn’t clean either. There was build up soap scum on the glass in the shower and old brown stains in the tub. I had to send my husband to the store to buy Lysol and sponges so I could clean the bathroom before I felt comfortable bathing my 1 year old in the tub. For the price of this place it’s not worth coming back. Who wants to pay all that money just to have to clean and scrub the place down beforehand?

The condition of the property was in very poor shape compared to the high price we paid to stay there. The balcony was completely unusable and covered in spider droppings. The floor of the room was disgusting and left all of our feet black on the bottoms. When we arrived we only had towels and linens for 2 people, even though our reservation was for 4 adults. We called asking for more towels and linens and waited over 2 hours to receive them and had to make multiple calls to the front desk. The restaurants were out of 1/2 of the beers on tap (even though it was July 4th weekend). The pool water was very dirty and the lazy river had debris floating all through it. I will not stay at this property again!

The room and balcony was dirty. Blonde hair on the ground, dirty floors, toilet, couch had a dead bug on it. Coffee maker dirty. The room was such a turnoff. Was not able to get comfortable in the room. Good prices were high and the I got food was not good at all. I probably will never return.

Pool area and restaurants were great. Room was clean and nice. A/C in room was we to 65 and room never got cold. No a/c in restroom so it was hot. No a/c in hallways upstairs. So it was hot waiting for elevator. Whomever designed to rooms was an idiot for not putting ducts in the restroom.

The rooms were absolutely beautiful. Would have preferred a non courtyard facing balcony. Mostly states a waterfront balcony experience. Facing the courtyard which is also facing the bar wasnt thr most pleasant. Though every other aspect was simply amazing

Room was clean, staff very friendly. Spa was great! Downside…don’t stay near the club/lounge side of the hotel. We were awake all night from the music playing in the club till 2am and people laughing and talking even longer and we were on the 4th floor!! Worst sleeping conditions. Overall nice resort just ask for a room located away from this area

Very relaxing. Wonderful service. Very clean amenities. My only complaint was the bed was rock hard. I ended up sleeping on the couch which was less than good but when trying to sleep in the king size bed, I would wake several times due to how uncomfortable it was. My husband had the same issues and ended up taking Advil every morning due to a back ache. We stayed in a king suite and the bed was awful

We checked in 10 mins before 4pm and the line was already long. It took morethan 1 hour waiting before we finally got a room and when we get to the room the wristband that they said already activated is not working, i need to go back to frontdesk again to settle it. The room is spacious though and nice interior. The facility is quite clean but i can say that there still a room for more improvement in some area. The food and restaurant is quite pricey for the taste. Other than that our family still enjoy the whole stay.

The resort is beautiful. Our room was too. We came when it was cold, so I was hoping for some quiet time, but music from the Bar and Grill you can hear all the way in the hotel. But otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

Most of the amenities were closed. The facilities were not well maintained. The room was dirty - floor was so dirty it would tuen your feet black, the shower was moldy and there was very limited hot water and almost no pressure (no matter the time of day). The staff were not communicative or helpfull. Overall far too expensive for the equivalent of a holiday in.

Please make sure the restaurant is properly staffed! We had to wait an hour to get our food. Plus it took longer to get drinks - never got our water refilled etc. then came trying to get our check. My son chased down our waiter to get it. The hotel is gorgeous but I believe the room should have at least one dresser and a chair. We had a double suite and it seemed more like a Motel 6 with just one nightstand. We waited for 45 minutes to get an elevator and ended up walking down 13 flights. I guess only two were working on a holiday weekend??

The front desk stafff some of them are very rude. I asked one question about the breakfast if it was included. I was talked to like a child, and told next time I needed to pay attention to what my reservation included. The ac did not work in our room we didnt alert anyone because we didnt feel like they would care anyway. I would not stay here again every employee we encountered acted if they were bothered by our questions. Very dissappointed in our stay and it was for our 1 year wedding anniversary

Had a great time. From the valet parking assistance to the check-in/out process, to the bar and wait staff to the security (who shut the pool down 30 minutes before 40mph winds came) - ALL were very hospitable and helpful. Only suggestions from us is have more cornhole boards! We will be coming back for a visit in the future!

Not able to use the kids pool area, not open yet. Must have a car as you have to drive for everythGolf course was fun and affordable. ing. (One restaurant and 3 bars.) Had to use valet because self parking kept filling up with a local meeting. We still enjoyed ourselves and will go back.

Looked outdated, food wasn’t good, stuff broken or not working in room, I got a lake view room but it was more like a front entrance view of valet, pool jacuzzi jets didn’t work. For it being a New Year’s Eve there was no festivity’s and just so plain and seemed that employees were more ready to get off than to serve.

We stayed at the resort for 4 days. By day 2, we had done everything there was to do. The resort was fine, basically clean. The friendliness of the staff was hit or miss. The guy renting the boats was terrible. The food and drinks were fine, but expensive for the location. The resort tries to give a vibe like you are in an exclusive Caribbean resort (and is priced like one), but you are on a buggy lake in Texas.

As a first time guest it was a nice experience. All of the food selections were good especially Land Shark. The vibes were nice, property is overall clean and grounds are well kept. The wave pool looked as though it needed a cleaning and the restaurant that served breakfast from 8-12 had lots of cobwebs and bugs on the ceiling by the windows. Overall it’s a nice experience for a weekend getaway.
