Quality Inn Jackson

This hotel is being refurbished currently. There are construction items in the stairwell and even in our hallway. However, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and firm, the bathroom was large and clean. Plenty of room in the king bed room. Pillows were good, soft ones and firm ones. Enough for a knee pillow! The tub wouldn't drain fast enough and there was standing water. However, the water pressure was more than ample! It hit the wall so hard that I thought it made a hole! The toilet handle had to be held to flush. Front desk was helpful. No elevator! Breakfast was so so. Convenient location. It was quiet in our room.

There was no elevator. The room was clean. Staff was very nice. Breakfast was sparse but fresh.

Older property. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. We did not use pool. Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly.

Outdated

When I checked in at the front desk the receptionist was to busy FaceTime someone on the computer speaking in a different language. The only thing she said in English was ID, credit card and room number. While she was processing my payment no eye contact and still speaking in a foreign language. No layout of the hotel rooms and it was difficult to find your room. The shower drain would not drain and the shower faucet just kept going around could not locate the cold water and to turn off the faucet you had to turn it slowly until it drips would stop. Apparently her FaceTime conversation was more important than a paying customer. I work in this town full time so I was not someone stopping in for an overnight stay. I live 45 minutes away and I stayed due to weather.
