We've stayed at the Clovis NM Super 8 several times and have always had a good stay. Front desk personnel are helpful, professional & courteous. There is plenty of parking, even if you're towing a car behind a motorhome. Our last stay was for 5 days/4 nights, with nothing but peace and quiet at night. The rooms are clean. A full breakfast rounds out one of the many reasons we keep coming back. Breakfast is covered by the hotel, but for other meals, McDonald's is within easy walking distance. Several good restaurants are located close by: Apple Bees, Cotton Patch, Sonic Drive In, and Blakes Lota Burger for a good New Mexican Hatch Green Chili burger. You can hear the sound of the railroad passing through Clovis--but that is the same with the majority of hotels, cause most are located on US60, which is parallel to US60.

The woman who checked us in was very helpful and changed our room type when I had booked it wrong. I really appreciated her help with that. The EV charger worked well and we were able to start our next day fully charged.

I was greeted with a cheerful smile and hello. The staff went out of their way to make sure I had an excellent stay. The pool was clean, quiet and very refreshing. Breakfast was extremely well stocked and delicious. Recommend this place highly!

We had a lovely time staying here while we were in Clovis. The rooms were clean and tidy and the pool and hot tub were as well. Staff were friendly and polite and check-in was quick. Really nice hot breakfast selection. Our first night there we were treated to live music right outside our door. There was a car show the next day and the organizers were having a little get together that included live music. They played some cool tunes and wrapped it up promptly at 8pm. It was awesome and everyone there was nice and not rowdy at all. Definitely would stay again.

The owner at front desk was helpful friendly and kind. The air freshener or perfume was so strong we couldn't stay. The rooms were very dark as well. Needs some newness. Freshen this place up. Looks old and dingey. Sorry. Mom had an acute allergic reaction so we couldn't stay to something in the room.

Perhaps the best hotel experience in years! The checkin was smooth even when asking for two rooms as close as possible. The desk fellow was happy, pleasant and understanding. The room was beautiful, well kept and clean. The beds are perfect. The surroundings quiet. Even when the train came by it was barely noticable, not enough to wake us up. Honestly this was as good as a 5 star hotel. The "suite" worked perfect with 3 beds and a tiny kitchenette. Made perfect accomodations. Highly recommended!

This was our 2nd experience with a good Super 8 motel and it was by far the best. They are pet friendly. Our room was near the back away from highway noise with plenty of parking. Our room had a kitchenette, dining/computer table, living room, private bath, and the most amazingly comfortable king sized bed. The breakfast was amazing. The food selections were many and varied. There were plenty of hot and cold beverages to choose from. There are plenty of restaurants and stores near-by, all only a short drive away, some within walking distance. All in all our stay at the Clovis, New Mexico Super 8 Motel was an excellent value for the money.

The property appears to have been recently updated or has been well maintained. Plumbing works as it should. Furnishings are modern and up to date. Interior is clean, exterior is clean and several outdoor niceties are available, I.e. picnic tables under pergolas. Just FYI, they serve one of the best continental breakfasts I’ve ever seen.

The staff was very friendly. Room was clean, comfortable, and had microwave and fridge. Internet streaming was slow and bed was so firm as to be uncomfortable. It's right across the street from railroad tracks so it's loud if you dont wear earplugs, but its also on main strip so perfect location for driving through town. Worth the money.

So impressed. All staff went out of their way to be gracious and accommodating. Even tho a plumber was already there, I’ve didn’t have hot water and didn’t really want to wait. They immediately switched my room no questions asked. The next morning they offered to hold my dogs while I got my breakfast in the breakfast room. Everyone was very friendly. Rooms were spacious and comfortable.

Had a reservation through Expedia. Showed up to get my room and was told they didn't rent to local residents without a $250 deposit which I didn't have or know anything about. Would of been nice if this was mentioned when making the reservation!

Manager at check in was extra friendly. Hot water did not work. The next morning the manager let us know the water pump broke, plumber was coming out, and he gave us a key to use in another room, just to take showers. We were very appreciative. Standard room, all ok. Breakfast was good, with a variety of hot and cold food items.

I typically don’t write reviews of chain hotels. And I was really nervous to make a reservation at a lower cost hotel but I was WAY impressed. The checking was so personable and the room has been recently remodeled: clean,nice and smells good! It does open outside but we were traveling and I didn’t want to pay 50 percent more for a nights stay. Hot breakfast: eggs, waffles etc were really good.

Comfortable beds. Nice warm breakfast consisted of scrambled eggs, sausage or bacon, waffles, apples, bananas, toast, biscuits or bagels and many other breakfast items. Breakfast served til 10AM is a huge plus for me. I like sleeping inn when travel and always miss breakfast when its over at 9AM. So huge thanks to Super 8 in Clovis for an extended breakfast hour. I felt safe taking my dog out to potty and Mc donalds is right next door!

Loved everything about this hotel! This is was my second stay and I thoroughly enjoyed it! People may complain about the trains that pass but it does not bother me or my family one bit. The breakfast is always awesome! Will definitely be staying every time I’m passing through that way!

While the room was clean and rather spacious, and the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast offered a variety of items, a few negatives existed. First, the Super 8 is right on the highway, so if you are a light sleeper, like I am, the 18 wheelers as they pass the Super 8 may keep you awake, and the train tracks are located just on the other side of the road, and the trains run all night, further disrupting one's sleep. In the room itself, the sink and toilet where seemingly child height. Even my wife, who is 5'5" commented on low the sink and toilet were. Last, while the breakfast had the most variety of items of any place we stayed while on our trip, the flies were enough to hurry us through our breakfast.
