The property was quiet during this visit. Bed, linens, pillows were perfect. Cost effective based on the other comparables in the area. No coffee pot, fridge, microwave but we were prepared for that and also impacted the price which was most important at Christmas.

Completely better expert than the other red roof in located in Dunbar, this room comes with microwave, refrigerator, laundry and complimentary coffee in the morning. For the price there’s really no room for complaints

This was the most disgusting place in have stayed ! The bed was dirty , there was urine on the toilet and floors , the tub was not washed out and it seemed that they did not clean the room . I removed all the sheets and would recommend purchasing disposable sheets online , I am so grateful I did ! I would like a partial refund for how gross the place was … never stay here !

Took forever to be able to open my door because the keys wouldn’t work. Deadbolt was broken. The room itself was disgusting. Sheets weren’t cleaned, the fridge was dirty, shower curtain was stained, and there was black mold growing around the shower head. Overall the room smelled like a damp basement. Oh and I found a used needle by the bathroom sink. Ended up leaving an hour after checking in because I no longer felt safe.

Absolutely disgusting. Floor was sticky. Weird wet carpet in between beds. Air conditioning loud and either didnt work or was too cold. Bathroom constantly smelled like pee. Pubes and various dirt in drawers. When you turned water on at sink it smelled like a sewer. Comforters and sheets had stains on them. I had to sleep with my shoes on.

The room was not real clean. There was hair in the shower and marks on the comforter. I didn’t know if it was clean but stained or had someone’s germs on it. I bought Lysol and Lysol wipes to feel more comfortable spending the night

We found 2 live roaches upon entering the room. Killed them. The beds were filthy and stained...one had blood on it that looked recent. I took pictures. The front desk person, Hunter, didn't seem surprised when I told him. The customer behind me in line said he was there to make the exact same complaints!!!

Overall, the experience was lacking. When we first got there, we noticed an odd smell and a LOT of bugs.We later realized that we didn't have any hand soap, the floors were dirty and stained our feet/light colored socks, our TV remote didn’t work, and there was what looked like mold in our shower. I mentioned bugs earlier, and I'll mention it again because there were a lot of spiders, flies, grasshoppers, etc. On a positive note, the staff was kind ans helpful, including when they brought extra blankets to our door fresh from the laundry soon after we had requested them. For the price, it wasn't bad, but I wouldnt recommend it.

Typical low end motel, full of construction workers and other "interesting" folks. Was quiet till the neighbors started screaming at each other and breaking windows at 12:30am. Oh, and light bulbs are my rant this year, yellow 20watt bulbs are kinda creepy, maybe if we moved out of the 60s and put in some LEDs?? If all ya need is a bed and shower it's fine.

This was hands down one of the worst motel experiences I’ve ever had. I booked a room with two double beds, but upon arrival, I was given a room with one king bed instead. No explanation, no apology—just a shrug from the front desk staff. Completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, the room was filthy. There was a used pizza box left behind from the previous guest, and the floor was sticky—it clearly hadn’t been cleaned at all. It honestly felt like they just flipped the room without even checking it. I travel often, and I understand things can go wrong occasionally, but the complete lack of cleanliness and disregard for the booking I paid for is inexcusable. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Spend your money elsewhere.

Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Room was pretty clean but had a musty smell. I was a little uncomfortable with the door situation. The security lock was wobbly and loose. There was a bit of a gap between the door and frame too which is how I’m guessing the cricket got in. He was quiet while I slept though so that was nice.

People outside room drinking beer, smoking, and talking loudly at 1:30am. Sketchy people walking around property. Room deadlock didn’t work. It was pulled from the door. Would NOT recommend, especially with children around.

Hotel was fine for the most part. It was safe, clean, inexpensive, and the staff was nice. My only problem was with the bed. The whole purpose of a hotel is to be able to sleep. The bed was so bad I couldn't get any more than 3 hours and woke up with horrible back pain that took most of my day to get rid of. They need better beds.

You get what you pay for. We knew this going in. The whole place is run down. The room was fairly clean but smelled bad. We had to buy air fresheners to cover up the smell. A dirty wash cloth was left in the bathroom and the refridgerator was wet and stunk. The bed was uncomfortable and seemed kind of broken down. The hair dryer was hanging off the wall. Wish we would have spent more and got a room elsewhere.

The best thing about this property is front desk concierge Hunter. After that, it’s hit or miss. We stayed twice this week. Wed- the room was disgustingly filthy. Sat- the room was pleasantly clean. We are repeat guests simply because of our budget. Just know that you can ask for another room- and it may be better.

I stay at this property often. This particular experience was by far the worst. Bedding, linens, towels were well beyond their life expectancy. Bedding was dirty. Requested to move rooms and the second was in nearly the same state. The only reason I can’t rate it lower is because of previous stays and Red Roof Representative, Hunter. Management needs to make a quality control assessment on maintenance and multi-use items. Soap dispensers were empty for example.

The best thing going for this property is the concierge Hunter. The rooms are hit or miss on cleanliness. We stayed on Wednesday and the room was disgustingly filthy. We returned and stayed on Saturday and the room was pleasantly clean. We are repeat guests because of our budget. Just know that if you happen into a room that is not Clean to request another.

The guy at the front seat was very nice and helpful the room was clean the bed could have been better it was very hard and you could feel the springs but I would stay again if it’s just a nights sleep

This place is not a high dollar place so keep that in mind when you book it. Overall it’s a great value for the money. Food and shopping are within walking distance from the hotel. I basically slept there because I was visiting with my family. I will probably stay there again next year. I saw a deer on the hillside of the hotel driveway.

Dogs stay free - thank you! That was unique. What I did not like: no breakfast served, even very simple: something like donuts or cookies, cream cheese, yogurt. Coffee was very poor, almost no real coffee in that "brown water"

A wonderful hotel, great service, good location and price. But they need more seating for breakfast as there is very little and it can be a problem for those who are disabled to take it back to their room. If that were fixed, it would be perfect. We were overall very happy.
